Don't forget you need to complete the punisher questline to unlock the quest intimidator at level 45. I'm level 45 but still need some svd kills so i haven't got the quest yet
ngl, hearing that the three most common buckshots are pretty much the same is a huge relief lol, I thought the smaller pellets would do even less damage against armor and would try to do these intricately laced shotguns to try and bust armor effectively and all that, but hearing I don't have to any more is a huge relief lol
17:24 "certainly a worthwhile consideration if you don't have sp-6" you need 200 rounds of sp-6 for the pab-9 craft!!!! just use bp you unlock it at the same time as sp-6 and its super cheap for the strike barter, you get 90 rounds per restock and its way better than sp-6 or pab-9
from lvl 1 fence you can get: -7.62x39 ps, (pp extremely rare) -7.62x54r ps, lps , t-45 -5.45 ps, pp -9x19 pst gzh early game ammo from traders have been nerfed to around 30-ish pen but from fence you can get ammo thats good against lvl 4 armor on your first raid Sadly this makes any most lvl1 trader ammo useless in my opinion (except of course .45 acp mathc fmj)
They really, really need to implement armor damage to the sub machine guns and increase the number of bullets gained crafting by like 2-3 times while decreasing a gunpowder or two in the craft. These should still take a while but an overnight craft should serve 3-4 raids like how bp was
I'd rather a shorter craft time for the current ammo but less if it had to be that for balance sake. It's just absurd that A.P 63 and PBP take just as long as M995.

Hey! I'd love to see a test between all of the guns, of how far their sound of a shot is able to be heard at when shooting silenced and subsonic. I'm actually planning to do a video on that, if I'll manage to get 4mil roubles since that's how much I calculated for it to cost, and I need to find a friend. But if you have something like this planned, or now wish to test it yourself, I might just not do it and concentrate on gitting gud because I'm getting shat on constantly. :D
Their isn’t much difference between the sounds to be honest. Hypothetically speaking if you ran a factory, and had everyone using a vss/mp7 with subs. You’d hear it all, from each spawn. Now let’s say you enter a woods, I’d say it’s all around 200 meters, if you were at saw mill and I was at usec camp next to the water, you wouldn’t hear my vss. But if I had a 308 silenced or an ak silenced, that would mostly depend on the headset your using in game. If you had comtac 2s, ur for sure not hearing anything. But with com 4s and what not you’d prob hear my Ak/308 silenced from that far. Just depends on what hypothetical and headset.

First shots towards you, but not so close so that there's a bullet whizz or the bullet hits the ground close by, then turn 90° away, and 180° away. To see if there's a difference between where the gun is pointing at. Start close. Like 25m. Then keep going further and further, until the guns report can no longer be heard. Repeat with every gun, and subsonics. (Could skip variations of otherwise similar guns) Then we'd see whether there's a difference.

FYI I do not 12/70 makeshift .50 BMG slug at jaeger level 3. You have to complete silent caliber, which you can only get at lvl 30 plus you have to complete chumming first.
clear winner this wipe is 762x39, pp ammo turns class 4 into swiss cheese and the armor damage is enough to break the lower end class 5s pretty easily. at that point you'll also have a scav case giving you an endless supply of rd704s and mutants, and the rd is dirt cheap to mod and not worth selling since you cant put it on the flea. i have pulled 8+ from my case and i've only lost one in 50+ raids with it.
i run moonshine or intel depending on which one is cheaper. moonshine has given me the most guns, lots of rsass and sr25s as well as the rds and mutants. also pull a ton of high tier armor from it. probably not making a profit overall but i literally have not had to buy guns or armor from the traders since unlocking it. @@gabriellacerda5737
Pp 3-4 shots lvl 5. I think that is pretty solid considering bp does the same. Either way your mag dumping close to medium with a built out Ak anyways so they are gonna be eating a few bullets anyways
I think they need to buff M62, because for $12 a round, it sucks. Then add a round in between M80 and M62, add M80 to lvl 3 Peacekeeper and go from there
I can't wait until they add more ammo to the Ash-12. I'd suck nuts to be able to buy ps12b again, sadly there's no shot that happens so I'd settle for a round in-between ps12 and ps12b aswell as In-between ps12a and ps12.
AP 6.3 isnt great but uh. When its coming out of a mp9 at 1100rpm its deadly as fuck pending on the wipe stage. It tears level 4 apart extremely rapidly at that firerate. MP9 is frankly slept on as fuck. The first shot recoil is not really that bad. You can control it once you get used to its practically a laser. You can leg meta with the gun as well and its nearly best in class in that regard IF you can hit your shots. Its unforgiving if you miss because the 30 round mags but at 15-20k on the flea and its suppressor usually running approx 30k its probably one of the best midgame budget death machines.
@@MrErizid Its 180 (maybe they changed it this wipe? idr) which is enough for a raid really, unless you mag dump scavs. Besides I already make it habit to buy multiple max amounts of ammo whenever I can. I don't catch nearly every reset but I catch enough where at the time I could get a bank 600-1k of different ammo types sitting in a box. For a while I was buying L191, AP 6.3 and M856A1 whenever I could even but now as the wipe has aged and higher level armor is prevalent now so I don't buy nearly as much of either. Now I buy M855A1 which is only 90 a reset and SPP (150). At this point everyone should likely aim to craft a higher pen ammo they want to craft near constantly if quest or buyable ammo doesn't suit them. I've got an ammo box full of ap20 and BT 9x21. I'm also currently working on PS12B and .45 ACP. It gives me the comfort to not just M4 which in returns allow me to stock decent amounts of m855A1. If you want to be really budget you could probably still do ap 6.3 and just aim for the face. You're gonna struggle against the bigger face masks but those don't seem to be very common at least yet for me. Anything that is level 3-4 is going to get obliterated pretty quickly with ap 6.3. Idk. Like I said before its all about wipe stage, ive moved away from 9mm because the craft for PBP is uh, stupid.

Honestly pp is just as good as bp if not better for the price and availability of it. No reason to keep questing after lvl 42. Especially when it’s a 4 month wipe and we are already through it

The problem is, you can only buy 90 bullets at a time and you simply won't crack a level 5 armor. You'll kill them with 20 bullets of blunt damage and the armor won't crack.
Small note, at 17:21 you wrote 52 pen instead of 62 pen. Might be confusing to new players because it makes it look straight worse than BS ps which IS 52 pen haha
This was my first wipe, and holy shit what a learning curve. I have questions about some things like i think we all use ETF-AMMO for ammo tiers but i think there's more to ammo than just if it pens armor 6. do you have any plans on making a video kinda like this but for each calibre? like why is quakemaker expensive if its statistically shit pen?
Because you can still easily leg meta someone with quakemaker. Throw it in a smg with a high rate of fire and aim for the legs. You'll melt people even with level 6 armor since you bypass the armor entirely. That being said, it's not a meta ammo/play style so the fact it's locked behind a high level trader and it's expensive is just a stupid dumb balancing decision by the Tarkov team. They lock all the decent pistol/SMG/shotgun stuff into mid-late wipe development, but by then you're already using close to meta assault rifles and ammos, so there's little to no reason to want to use these niche and expensive ammos unless you slowly collect it from inraid and just feel like experimenting with something different. I like the MP5 because "le 90s opr8tur" vibes, but if it weren't for that there's really no reason to bring an SMG with quakemaker when an M4 with the best ammo in the game is easily available.

This video has taught me BSG doesnt have a lot of logic for the balance here. The PAB 9 craft makes no sense for your reasoning simply because you say "it's great if you dont have SP 6 but you literally need SP 6 to craft PAB 9... so... what you mean? Also AP-M and PAB-9 make no sense to craft because of how difficult it is to get sp-6. They really did SP-6 dirty and i dont like it lol. Other than that great video Giga 🫀.
Please don't sleep on Fence. You can reliably find okay ammo such as PS, Express/Magnum, SP8, PST, etc.

Which scav trade u do? I only do 95k and never got any good guns, but always end up with profit, thats why i do it

An MP9-N with PBP ammo is savage.
You can also find LPS in the Fence inventory quite often.

This is not new. The Klin allows for high-powder load bullets. The Kedr and Klin only allow subsonic bullets.

This video has taught me BSG doesnt have a lot of logic for the balance here. The PAB 9 craft makes no sense for your reasoning simply because you say "it's great if you dont have SP 6 but you literally need SP 6 to craft PAB 9... so... what you mean? Also AP-M and PAB-9 make no sense to craft because of how difficult it is to get sp-6. They really did SP-6 dirty and i dont like it lol. Other than that great video Giga 🫀.
