8:03 - You're wrong on the Montreux convention, stating US warships can enter the Black Sea if the channel is built. The convention covers not only the Bosphorus strait, but the other strait (Dardanelles) and the Marmara Sea as well. US ships cannot reach Marmara sea in the first place, regardless if a new channel exists or not.
When I heard that I was about to state the exact same thing The new Channel will as a paid service will also have to track every ship passing through it and honestly I don't think the U.S would even want that disasterous nightmare of leaving our ships in the Black Sea it's like a sitting duck there Russia could sink it so fast.
You are 100% right but the problem is that another megaproject called Çanakkale Canal was discovered in the documents which most certainly will bypass the Montreaux Convention. As a Turkish citizen it bothers me a lot and raises a suspicion. These projects are and will be benefited by the US herself and considering Turkey’s current economic state I highly doubt that the Turkish State would be able to pay for the expenses. So how how or should I say who will be paying for the completion of the Canal... unfortunately there is only one answer and we all know it.
@@ataberk9331 No, Çanakkale/Dardanelles Kanal won't be a workaround to Montreux either. Marmara Sea itself is included in the convention. In the beginning of the agreement it clearly states 'Straits is a shorthand term used to address Bosphorus & Dardanelles straits AND the Sea of Marmara'. You can dig parallel channels to both straits and warships cannot make it from the Aegean to the Black sea since both these channels have the Sea of Marmara in the middle to connect with each other. Warships are forbidden to enter Marmara regardless if they are attempting to enter it through the straits or not.

It should be noted that death toll comparison for the World cup competitions is irrelevant as it's not comparing the same parameters. While the numbers for Russia and Brazil account for the deaths during construction of venues the Qatari numbers include the entire migrant work force of over two million people over a ten year period. 37 deaths have been directly linked to the construction of stadiums, of which 34 were classified as non-work related (though that term is somewhat controversial). A more fair comparison would be to include all the workers who died in Russia/Brazil from the time they were elected to host the competition, so like in the figures for Qatar, the numbers would include suicide, road accidents, heart failures and so on.
That being said, I'm in no way questioning the horrendous human rights violations and terrible living arrangements for migrant workers in Qatar and other Gulf states. My only problem is the manipulative presentation of the statistics. And no, I don't think Qatar should ever have been awarded the right to host the World cup, nor should China have been awarded the Olympics TWICE!
where did you find his source for the Qatari numbers? In the video it only says "preparation for the cup", so one could assume that the year span is similar.

Recent reports show that Trump's wall has been breached literally thousands of times since it's construction. It's pretty easy to cut a hole in the thing with a $200 SAwzall from Home Depot if you are really determined to get through. And this doesn't even account for the sections which are literally falling over due to poor engineering. The Great Wall of China it ain't. If you want to secure the border, there are far better, less invasive (remember, the Feds had to take thousands of acres of privately held land by eminent domain to build the wall),more cost effective, and ore high tech solutions to accomplish that end.

The war in Ukraine started in 2014 when the democratically elected Ukrainian government was overthrown by Obama in an illegal coup and replaced with an anti-Russian poppet-client state regime that would go on to commit daily war crimes against ethnic Russians in Donbass, in clear violation of the Minsk agreements! Where was the international community then?! This war would have been avoided by one simple guarantee, for Ukraine to be a neutral nation and not join NATO, which is already a 30-country-strong military alliance knocking on Russia’s doorsteps!
Russia’s attack on Ukraine is illegal and unwarranted, but you can not deny that it was the US who provoked this conflict. Did Russia not try diplomacy? Not for days or weeks, but for months and years, since 2014 to be exact!? Was this special military operation necessary for Russia to perhaps avoid an inevitable and inescapable WWlll if the US continue insisting on pushing NATO eastward?!!
Isn’t it also exactly what US would have done had Russia done to Canada what US did to Ukraine: pledge hostile military alliance membership; back a coup; pour in weapons used to attack civilians; and thwart diplomacy.
What the world needs to do is to negotiate this peacefully and not give in to the US advocating the war and sending more weapons to Ukraine to prolong the pain and suffering!

Sure for an outsider it might be a harmless "letter of concern" but when you take a 2 minute look into the history of Turkish Army and its relationship with State Politics you'll understand why the government took the Admirals Deceleration so seriously. This isn't West Europe, retired military personnel issuing letters have real consequences here. We even had a retired colonel that tried to overthrow the government TWICE back in the 60s.

Let’s pay respects to those workers sacrificed their lives to finish the stadiums. Without it, Qatar won’t be hosting and their World Cup dreams is tarnished. Let’s just say thank you to those workers. ❤

I know that you didn’t mean it that way, so please don’t take my comment the wrong way. But to say that those workers sacrificed their lives for the Qatar government, so that they could host the world cup, seems to be very very disrespectful towards them.
That is because to sacrifice yourself, that would mean they would have done so out of their own will.
These workers haven’t sacrificed themselves, they have BEEN sacrificed by their own government in hopes of new global popularity, through these different mega projects.
As I said, I know you didn’t mean it that way, but for the future, if you want to honor those who habe left their life for something. ALWAYS make sure to get it right, why those people have died for said causes.
(Because of external forces/ out of sheer will/ and so on…)

From what exactly? I didn't see troops or tanks crossing. Immigration isn't an invasion. Yes there are some drug trafficking but that shouldn't be the reason to penalized the majority with good intentions. There's other ways to handle the problem than building a wall.

Not to mention this page did minimal research for this video. False information within the first 2 minutes with the claim Trump wanted a temporary ban on ALL Muslims entering the US yet India was never on the list of banned countries. The country with the biggest Muslim population in the world.

@@savioblanc you're right. My mistake. India is actually 3rd behind Indonesia and Pakistan. Indonesia wasn't on the ban list either though lol. Pakistan was. Rightfully so though.
@@LornaMoz I have to say though, you seem to be arguing two different things. So Trump did call for a general ban on Muslims to the US because his reasoning was that too many in the Muslim world found the US to be evil and he didn't want people who had a general hatred for the US to be allowed into the country, without first being vetted. He never mentioned how this could be enforced or even that he could do something like this. It was hyperbole during the 2016 campaign.
When he became President though, he enforced an Obama administration created list of countries with a potential high risk to American citizens and banned the citizens of those countries from entry to the US, regardless of their religion. This list was mostly Muslim majority countries but also included countries like Venezuela on it.
Also, the ban included even non-Muslim minorities from those countries, since the list wasn't based on religion.
This ofcourse didn't stop the media from reporting that Trump had enforced his "Muslim ban", despite Indonesia, the largest Muslim populated nation on the planet, not even featuring on the list.
