  • Non-duality means that which is not two, but when we recognize our formless nature, we can subtly begin to reject everything that makes us human and feel divided again.
In this Satsang excerpt, Helen urges us to go all the way and confirm that everything is the Self.

Thank you, Helen, your words touched me deeply, brought clarity on what holds duality in us is not lovingly embracing our humanity.

Thank you for this Helen, by including the parts of self that we reject into the oneness is so profound 🙏

Thank you so much Helen. I have been Inquiring in understanding of what "spiritual bypassing" meant. Now,coming full circle to have the courage to embrace my humanity, to be the full expression of the all inclusive Self.

Thank you Helen. I have thought, that the formlessness is only one expression… the other is all of that which is form and changing, learning, experiencing, evolving. So glad, that it is not all for nothing… if you get the point 😉🙏❤

Thank you, Helen. Most teachers assume that the starting point is one of unworthiness and/or selfishness, and they promise miraculous transformation to peace and bliss. For many, the distortion or illusion is not "internal" but external (eg systemic racism) such that the truth that needs to be seen and the actions flowing from that are not "oh, I was wrong about this now I can fully accept what is" but some redress to break patterns of violence, exclusion, and oppression that stand in the way of everyone's full expression of being.
This is also the case in a more personal level; for example in dysfunctional family systems or gender-imbalance in spousal relationships.
Because the teachings often assume the same starting point, it's confusing and, indeed harmful, to those in untenable situations. Put crudely and simply, it can appear as a "blame the victim" admonition, suggesting that there's something wrong or unenlightened about those who continue to feel pain or anger when they are mistreated.
Discernment about what is an egoic reaction versus what is an appropriate and enlightened response is necessary. Unfortunately, this is seldom addressed. Sometimes accepting and embracing what is means recognizing that it is harmful and destructive.
Loving and respecting poison ivy is recognizing that it is harmful to human skin and must be avoided or effectively prevented from encroachment. This is also the case with other beings intent on causing harm.
The most peaceful way I've come to see this is that I am removing the opportunity for these beings to act from their separation (which is not my acting from fear). The resulting sorrow from losing these relationships is easily managed because it comes from authentically directing attention to the highest good for all.

Being authentic… could you not include that in a Satsang… seen from all of life’s difficult situations 🙏

Why all teachers perpetually don't have the care to see that when they pass a message that is OK the all expressions of the person, are, because they are speaking for western minds, opening up danger door of allowing people to destreat, desrespect others because they can... It is obviously true that all the expressions of the person are Bhramam, but is very important to always pass the message that we live in society and the guy that lives next to you deserves respect... And I see to often the use of the message in this video to allow people to perpetuate they flaws, they arrogance and lack of compassion for one another...
