This has come at the perfect time. I have been experiencing the joy of knowing that I am not a separate self, that there is no separation, and then BANG, my knee slips out of position yet again, or something infinitesimally small will cause a much bigger reaction than it warrants. My new go-to word is 'Frustration', and my frustrated question is, 'What am I doing wrong?' Thank you for letting me, or whatever 'me' this is, know I am not alone.

Someone once said to me “your desires are IT’s desires.” I’m quite certain I don’t understand. At least not on every level. For example, I am a now, sober alcoholic 10 years. Occasionally, the idea of a drink sounds wonderful, however, I know better. Is the knowing better having a desire that’s not separate from the belief that that’s not good for me? If I were to drink again, I’d be in grave danger. Certain to die or go insane at some point. What of sexual desires. This mind has been desirous of fantasy catholic school assured me I’d burn in hell for eternity for. Which in the case of Catholic school is absolutely everything so I’m not saying much there I guess. 🙄 I would love for this to make sense. I did have an experience a few years ago, where the mind was desires of something which went against my personal will, if there is such a thing, but that desire was manifested, regardless of what Action figure called “me” had to say about it. I feel that if God desire something, it will come to pass whether I like, agree with or approve of it. Whatever that “I” is that I’m referring to. I don’t know.

Good one - fascinating. I’m following a physicist named Donald Hoffman who.s challenging the standards of Physics as a whole. Over 95% are materialists where the universe is considered objects in space and essentially everything being separate. Donald has worked out the math w/a small select group of counterparts who have determined a consciousness 1st model which he interprets in conversation as the body being an avatar of sorts, which he calls a ‘headset’ (and a limited one at that). The wild part is he’s proposing this is a virtual world we live in and the objects don’t appear unless attention is placed on them. The way I interpret this is kind of like, if a tree falls in the Forrest, is there a sound if there’s no one there to hear it. So he’s saying we’re basically rendering reality [so to speak] on demand. Not sure your thoughts on it Linda but to me this is all quite amazing and fascinating.

Hi Helen, I was watching the Now that you are formless part 1 satsang and it really resonate with me. You mentioned how thinking was exhausting and I agree but more so I feel that interacting with others who arent on the spiritual path which means everyone in the real world for me besides the online communities... is not only exhausting and draining but unbearable...will it ever get easier ? Not to brag, but I actually saw the SILENT, inner, shimmering, colorful, alive & intelligent essence or substance of or inside of every object inside of a public mall! In an effort to keep the vision or sighting, I decided to name what I was witnessing as awareness or consciousness. Now, I'd say it was/is Silent Energy, yet still indescribable. I walked outside of the mall & found the same substance was out there, in & AS every object I could see. I have not seen that inner Substance since then, but I am certain what I was shown is/was REAL. There is only one indescribable Essence or substance, mysteriously appearing as Everything. It's a mystery! 😮😅
