    Newbie question: What's the purpose of the easy rig slider? How does using it compare to just fixing a weight at the point of the swivel?

      @fishingmad  2 года назад

      The point of the Ezi rig is so you can keep changing the sinker as you need to as the current changes very quickly in Western Port. I've got heaps of other rig vids for areas that arent tidal.

    Does this rig easy get tangle when casting since it has huge sinker slider?

      Not very often, I also have a few other gummy shark rigs using 3 way swivel which is prone to tangles.

    This is literally asking people to lose the fish of a lifetime in Westernport. You need to have a mono dropper from the slider to the sinker so if/when the sinker gets snagged on reef you don’t lose the whole rig…….. and fish!!!

      Ryan Im not sure you watched the whole video, as thats exactly what was instructed and shown. At 8:11 I say rigs setup in this way have a habit of getting snagged and losing fish, I would highly recommend running a mono or fluro dropper of the ezi rig and i show that being done.
