Hi Jasen, and thanks for reaching out! I use a variety of thicknesses, from .06 to 1.0. It all depends on the piece, but you really can't go wrong with .08 Tiger Thread if that's what you're using on watch straps. I hope this helps. MK

Thanks for the question SD! On a later episode, and forgive me for not knowing the exact one right now, I stated after working with Shell Cordovan Leathers from a few different tanneries - (Horween, Rocado, & Shinki Hikaku), I now feel that Shinki Hikaku is the very best. They’re all really good, but that’s my conclusion upon working closely with each. I hope this helps, and thanks again! MK
