Og Xbox is better than PS2 don't need a memory card
My advice is to avoid softmods. I've had the software that runs the softmod corrupt on me randoming various times leading to a yellow ring of death. Either go with TSOP or modchip your Xbox to avoid this (I got mine TSOP'd).
The original Xbox is in my top 3 favorite systems, and I actually have 5 different editions of it. I'd like to mod one just to see the capabilities, but I'm not sure how to go about doing that.
I have 3. Two soft modded and 1 hard mod. Love them all. Great console.
I love my modded xbox ...it has 5000 games and i use it with a x-arcade tank stick..pure arcade feel

Yeah, I have two original Xbox. one doesn't work I tried to power on it won't work I think it was the the actual power stop working, but the other one does work well. I would like to get my original Xbox modded as well in the future. Interesting video.😉👍

My favourite console. It had the best FPS and Stealth games out of all of the 3 consoles from the early oughts.

I still have a few of these kicking around with 2tb drives coinops 128mb ram upgrades and other goodies. Got an arcade tank stick with trackball and it plays all the older arcade hits so well. I even recapped a couple for long term preservation. Won’t last forever but I still drag them out now and then. Outrun 2 on it through an upscaler brings me so much joy.
i have the parts to add a hard drive so i can add my games to the hard drive but can never find the time to do it. i have a modded one as well through the splinter cell exploiot

Good vid. Slight correction. Outrun 2 is Outrun 2. Outrun 2006: Coast to Coast is a different game.
Putting in a new hard drive is the most challenging thing about the XBOX. I just put whatever I am into at the time on it.
I have a modded Xbox ended up messing it up by trying to use online mode on doa and it patched the system. The games and emulators are still on the system. Not sure what to do. Good video Xbox is my favorite console as well.
