Personally, I start by checking the Google Meet microphone settings, and then if necessary, the Windows microphone settings.

i had tried all of this on chrome google meet but it did not work the problem is admin can block the microphone which is the cause of the microphone not working for google meet only so finally i decided to switch to firefox browser and i found the google meet microphone was working awsome? if any one has solution to unmute the microphone if admin has blocked it please let me know how i can recover the chrome google meet without admin permissions . even i tried to unintsal chrome it did not work out
