Edward R. Murrow Awards (Sports Reporting): "Beyond the Roster: Sepp Shirey"

Sepp Shirey is a senior at Atlee High School just outside of Richmond. Born with Cerebral Palsy, he has nonetheless played football nearly his entire life. On Senior Night this past November, Sepp was allowed in to his team's game against Varina. Originally, he was just to carry the ball once for a few yards, but what happened next produced a viral video that went around the world. Our story takes a look at not only Sepp's accomplishment,but the unlikely help he had in pulling it off that night.
