Under-developed regions of the world still use large amounts of man power to work farms, that in America would be farmed more efficiently with modern machinery. Slave or slave-like practices (indentured servitude, debt slavery, extortion etc.) are still used today to extract labor from people.

My mother always said "if your family is from The South you soon learn that everyone is related to everyone else". No kidding mom! (And it does explain that classic Southern Hospitality. Whoever it is at your door might very well be your cousin.)
Wow, love all the connections to other presidents. I've read somewhere that most of the US Presidents are related in some way would love you to do a video showing all the various relations to each other and other prominent figures
Diagnosed with malignant / metastatic melanoma in 2015; President Carter is remarkably alive today as a Centurian in Hospice for almost 2 years! Melanoma is slow growing and chemo only works on fast growing cell mutations. Apparently immunotherapy was initially successful, hope for others.
Martha Washington’s niece was Robert E Lee’s mother
Jimmy Carter is an American patriot.
He is a good moral man but a TERRIBLE president.
@@schs1977Yes, he helped usher in the Iranian Revelation by withdrawing support for the Shah of Iran. That was the world's first modern Islamic government! The Middle East has not been the same since!
@@schs1977 and then there were his economic policies which caused double-digit: inflation, interest rates, unemployment.
@@spaghettiking7312 He’s better than that Cheeto man Texas likes to vote so they can get rid of their Mexican population while the other Mexicans who rather betray their own country

This was is such a fascinating family tree and story. I'm sure there are volumes more that could be written about Jimmy Carters family tree. It would be such a great book to read about all those truly interesting people. You might want to try a biography about some your family trees you have posted.
October 1 2024 Will Be Biggest Day for Jimmy Carter Life 😊❤
He's more interested in voting for Harris than turning 100!!

Fascinating video. Thank you.
My family is his distant cousin through his paternal grandmother Nina Pratt’s line. That is how she is connected to the Foote family who have numerous prominent and famous members. The book Chotankers: a Family History by Edward A Foote provides much valuable information in this line and connects them to Jimmy Carter & family.
I’m not sure if my research is 100% accurate but I believe I am also related to Governor Robert “King” Carter through his son’s John Armistead’s daughters marriage to William Evelyn Byrd III
Same here! I'm related through an almost backwards way lol. It's an odd carter way.
this was such a great vid! I had no idea Jimmy Carter was related to so many people
Look back and consider the life and work of President Carter and then look at that candidate for this year's election.
Yeh Harris is terrible!
Wow the power of the pardon yes important to mention historical details particularly when personally relevant-in a way what makes USA president temporary monarch!? Aside from arguably 9 for now in SCOTUS🤯
I'm distantly related to Jimmy Carter. My 3 greats grandma was Thankful Carter
I hear a lot of people talk about how much they hate the industrial revolution, but at the very least I wish people would understand how the advancements in farming technology led to the release of many slaves around the world. I cannot prove it would not have happened with less technology, but the reality we live in shows that the better technologies used in farming, the less intensive, repetitive manual labor is needed. Under-developed regions of the world still use large amounts of man power to work farms, that in America would be farmed more efficiently with modern machinery. Slave or slave-like practices (indentured servitude, debt slavery, extortion etc.) are still used today to extract labor from people.
Most Famous Relatives of Jimmy Carter: LMFAO
Elvis and Nixon are my 10th cousins. Washington is also my cousin.
i’ve been waiting for this thanks
This was a good one. Thanks 😊
what a tree with so many stars
I am quite interested in Rosylynn Carter’s genealogy. I am shocked that Rlvis, Marvin Gaye and the Carter family are related to Mr. Carter. Thank you for doing all this research.
Well that's a kick in the Pants, Berry Gordy is related to the Jackson 5, The Group that he signed in the 50s.
Littleberry?!
Right?
Good job!
LONG LIVE JIMMY CARTER
Loved Miss Lillian. She was a great lady
Sara Carter and Maybelle Carter are my 4th cousins 5x removed. Making June Carter Cash and her sisters my 5th cousin 4x removed. I have a request though you should look into the Kilgore side of Maybelle Carter. You’ll find some interesting stuff.
Incredible 😮
DId you happen to run across the family name of "Parker" they were land owners in that area of Virginia, and the Delmarva pennisula around the same time. From what I saw in this video, while the Carters lead to George Washington, I know of at least one parker that lead to Martha Washington.
Quite interesting, but I'd speculate that there's a lot of unrelated Carters, including the musicians you weren't able to link to Jimmy's family, because it's an occupational name.
I am related to Jimmy Carter thru my maternal Grandpa. His grandfather was an Ansley and he was related to Ann Ansley. My grandpa and Jimmy Carter were 4th cousins
One of my 4th cousins is married to a descendant of a grandchild of Queen Victoria
@@The315fan I am Princess Diana's 8th cousin once removed but a lot of Americans are related to Princess Di. Her great grandmother was American (and was related to my grandpa that was the Ansley descendent).
He just survived a hurricane at his home
So happy birthday. 😊 💯
3 days out, it feels dangerously premature to celebrate!
I'd be interested in Martin Van Buren's family tree, since he's the only Dutch US president.
What about the Rosevelt’s? They were part Dutch.
@@dawnwatkis3382 True, but Van Buren's family came from a Dutch enclave and Dutch was his native language. His entire family was of Dutch descent, and he was the first president not to have been born a British subject. He's still the only president to have spoken English as a second language.
I have been doing my family tree since 2009 on ancestry and my grandmother on my mom's side maiden name. Was Carter! I did the tree using other family trees and even with slavery found the slave master was the progenitor of our family. Going back I found someone's someone who was the brother cousin ir actually the great great 8x grandfather if Pres Jimmy Carter in 1600s and 1700s how many Carter families came to the Americas ?
Theres alot. I know there a few black carter trees. If you look up jay-z's family tree. He talks about the beginning for all black Carters and Browns from Virginia
That's where alot of my grandpa's side came from.
Happy birthday jimmy carter ur already 100! Im so proud of him even if im belarussian man
