Beats like this are great, but rushed. The base you have is amazing, but there isn’t enough changes or even a lot going on with it. No switch-ups for verse, pre chorus, or chorus. Don’t take this as a hate comment, take it as a “I really like your sound but you need to work on these a little more”, comment.

No worries man, I appreciate the constructive criticism. Sometimes I'm more inspired to build stuff out and sometimes the flame dies down a bit. The way I try and look at it -- im trying to express myself by making songs. Some songs are good songs, some are bad and I have no control over what other people may like. Often I find the beats I like the most dont do so well on youtube so i make an effort to share all of the beats that I make regardless of if I like them or not.

@@JDxBeats yeah I hear ya there brother. I’m not a producer, but as a writer I can get a pretty quick burnout sometimes with my music. What works for me is just taking a step back until some ideas for that song or another one come to mind. You should work on this one some more, the melody you got with this one is sooo good. You’ve got your sound for the beat figured out already but it just needs some meat on the bones.

@@JDxBeats As a writer I see the "lack of switch ups" in the instrumental as an opportunity to do more with my vocals allowing the beat to be a complementary element to the overall song and lyrics rather than the main focal point, i love the simplicity :) but to each their own, I love creative humans!! keep on keeping on yall :)
