Hi LeAnn! I love chili and yours looked amazing. I’m making a pot for my brother since he requested chili. He’s having another eye surgery this Thursday. So I make some freezer meals for him so he doesn’t have to cook.
Your right, it tastes better the next day. I’ve sent you the payment for the tomato seeds. It’s been so crazy trying to take my brother to doctors and surgeons, plus the grocery store and pharmacy or anything he needs. I don’t mind helping him at all, I love my brother.
Hope you have a blessed evening!

The best chili I have ever made was using leftover smoked brisket. So good.
My husband makes a giant vat every year that he needs a paddle to stir. Before he added the beans, he took out half and I canned 9 quarts. After the beans filled it back up, the rest went into the freezer. Half goes to our daughter for Christmas and the rest is for us. His chili is fantastic and I rarely make any myself but I needed to get rid of the leftover brisket.

I've never made chili with canned beans before, but I'm gonna give it a try. I think the spice combination you used was spot on! Was your oregano the regular kind or was it Mexican oregano?
