      @@KitchenMycology The growth was most even when i was adding (pseudo) casing layer later on after the top was fully colonized allready. But it didn't affect the growth speed in my case.

    started brf cakes like 20 years ago and when i moved on to tubs i always cased just from my previous experience of topping jars with verm. my brain just always told me to put that layer of protection

      @@BRIKSFYOS I don't even do a Pseudo Casing Layer with them because their mycelium explodes everywhere, super fast! It grows up the walls of the tub or bag. Those are crazy! 😂🍄♥️
