Yeah, because gravity will pull the soap down and if you wash it from down to up, you wouldn't wash away the soap completely.

Actually touchless cleaning is pressure water from bottom to top, after the foam had some time to work. After bottom to top cleaning, you rinse everything down at the end with softer water and then you dry it, or use the foam twice if the dirt is bad, but normally you don't need it.

You should pressure wash first top to bottom, apply the soap, and then do a light rinse top to bottom.
The foam is there to make the dirt lose from the paint and help to get it away from the spot where it was sitting on. But he still has done a mistake, because in this case with the touchless cleaning with the foam, he should have started pressure washing from the bottom to top, before he will rinse it from top at the end, or if he puts another layer of foam after that.. so it is foam at first, pressure water bottom to top and rinsing with softer water at the end.

@@rezincreek6552 I've never had a problem getting mud off with the pressure washer. it usually just blasts right on off. All of this kind of just seems irrelevant if the pressure washer can do the same work
@@Dee--Jay he's probably using a touchless foam that loosens up the dirt better than pressure washing. With that, you might as well just do a 3 step foam wash (foam > rinse > blow dry) instead of 4 step (rinse > foam > rinse > blow dry).

You apply the snow foam from top to bottom and also rinse from top to bottom. That's what the instructions on my container say.

if foam is applied you should start spraying with water from bottom going up horizontally
99% of the people will never understand that.. and when they see you working bottom to top, they start arguing with you aggressively and calling you names that you are stupid and should work top to bottom.. and it actually doesn't make sense to argue with them, they still won't ever understand it and say it's wasting time and water, but it actually isn't and you will still rinse it from at the end.. 🙄

A good washing starts from the top to the bottom, not from the bottom
Touchless cleaning starts always from bottom to top, but horizontally and not like he has done it. And other cleaning you can start at the top, but touchless cleaning is always bottom to top. Just rinsing the foam down from the top, is just wasting the foam and the method is not working like it should!

Is there a reason behind the bottom to top rinsing method? I thought a side to side or top to bottom approach would be less time consuming?
When washing a vehicle using conventional methods you firstly apply soap, wash using a sponge or a broom and then rinse off with water from the top to the bottom.
Touchless washing is a bit different.
Soap is applied through a high pressure foamer and then high pressure water is used as a “sponge or a broom”. The water is worked back into fresh soap, either from the bottom to the top or backwards in the case of trucks and trailers etc. In this way, the soap is used more efficiently. (If you wash from the top down, you would simply wash the soap off the vehicle which defeats the purpose).
Then rinse from the top down to finish the cleaning process.

El agua se vuelve a transformar en jabón fresco, ya sea de abajo hacia arriba o hacia atrás en el caso de camiones y remolques, etc. De esta manera, el jabón se usa de manera más eficiente (si se lava de arriba hacia abajo, simplemente lavará el jabón del vehículo, lo que anula el propósito).

When you want to do touchless cleaning, then at least do it correctly. After the foam, you start pressure washing horizontally from bottom to top (YES, BOTTOM TO TOP) and then at the end, you rinse the car down with soft clear water and dry it up with a big car towel. Touchless cleaning is always bottom to top, to let the foam and water work together like a brush. Just rinsing from top to bottom isn't as effective and is actually just wasting the foam.
99% of people will not understand and always start to argue that bottom to top is stupid, but actually they are the stupid ones and should just educate themselves about touchless cleaning and different cleaning methods.. can't be that difficult to find out..
