Face excercises work for me. Look at my pic, 51yo with about 24% BF. My face and jawline is better than a year ago, when I was about 20%BF. It take me about 6 month of facial excersices to see that results.

For jawline I work two: put a elastic band in my chin and make open/close bite slowly. 20-30reps and fish mouth-to-close bite tension 10-15 reps. You can find many excersices tutorials and find the best for you.

I think facial fat is youth but still don’t want your face to be too puffy to the point your chin looks recessed (this is usual happens due to being overweight/obese, face builds in your face hiding your jawline), just a low enough percentage for your jawline to pop out, in my opinion too much facial fat can do the opposite and make you look older. This is especially true in America as often older demographics are more overweight/obese (so they have lots of facial fat, more facial fat than younger people) than younger demographics so a high body fat percentage is associated with being older aged.
