You commented about traces of DEI appearing in the GMC. Could you expound on this or perhaps direct me by link to that which you reference?
Thanks for your dedication. I am always interested to hear what you will tell us next.

This declaration is at odds with itself. I thought it was going to be some kind of theological thing in the Preamble it sounds theological but then everything that follows in the key statements below the Preamble pretty much are not backed up by scripture. They may sound Christian or they may sound like something you may hear partly in a church or in discussion among Christians but the scholarship in this declaration looks really lazy and not only that the reason that it's been brought about I don't think it has anything to do with racialism. It has to do with a few web personalities who are authoritarian minded in the reformed theology wanting to try to End discussion by being an authority instead of having honest discourse and there is so much smoke now that those of us who sit outside this and look in are like what is going on none of us understand and I'm sure God is not pleased and frankly I'm not sure this has anything to do with the right at all it may signal that it does but it's so incoherent I feel Dumber for having read it

what a pile of trash - bunch of nonsense about “neo-paganism “ and “self-loathing” which is characterizing other people’s thinking and not their own. not a word about jesus or bible in anything you read.

I remember there being two explicit scriptural quotations, so I don't really know what you're saying at the end there. The words they use are describing real ideas that have sway over the hearts of many men today. It is frustrating that the world keeps changing and we have to keep adapting to new circumstances and terminology, but it is wrong to get angry at the people who try to keep up with this depraved culture and to point them to Christ.

Yeah they have an introduction they use a lot of really long words to sound real scholarly but they never Define what they mean by some of those words like for example what the heck is Neo paganism for example I have an idea what that might mean but I have a feeling it might depend on who the speaker is using the word and to me that makes this declaration void because it doesn't have a declaration of of the words that they use😢 and those words whether you lean more politically left or lean more politically right without knowing people mean simply asking people two be a signatory to a bunch of affirmations and denials is only a recipe for either shallow agreement or shallow disagreement because people aren't going to understand what the issue this thing is about. It reads like somebody wanted to have something that could be remembered by like say the Westminster Confession of Faith or the founding documents of the United States or perhaps something from one of the great synods or councils of the early church but it comes out as a bunch of juvenile minded people who think they know better than everybody else and it doesn't make sense on its own anyways. I'm not a Methodist by the way but I am finding different people's commentary this and many people are like this thing is so discordant that how could anybody be in agreement with it and there's only one way if you were a creator of it and or if you had decided you were going to agree regardless of what it said in which case it means the words in it are worthless

The “right and almost right” quote is from Spurgeon.
