This takes me back to my childhood, when we used to make Joe and Cobra vehicles with McDonald Styrofoam burger boxes thread spools and BBQ skewers. This of course is light years ahead of anything 10 year old me ever made. Great job man.
Holy Crap, I have one of those mini lights. That is genius! I have a really bright small candle light globe I use as a "firepit" for a small group of figures on my desk.
I used to make my own bases when I was young, made one from a gi joe base and a work bench and made an outpost from a plastic container out in the backyard. But my favorite was the underground bunker i made from a waterproof junction box and left buried for months.
@@millcitychris4303 That would actually be quite interesting to see. Turning this castle into a Cobra Base was very fun and enjoyable so remaking the ship in Cobra Commander's image might be interesting too :).
I used to make 'Secret Cobra Bases' by building them with Construx and using Legos for computer terminals and so fourth, then just half cover it with a blanket.
When I was a kid mom wouldn’t buy me a joe or cobra base or the aircraft carrier so my joe base was a bunch of shoe boxes stacked in certain ways and cobra base was books stacked like a house of playing cards and the carrier was my tall dresser cleaned off so sky striker could land on it lol
@@SirElyk hahaha I'm glad you guys love it! I bet it makes your editing and gaming so much better. If you guys need recommendations on anything else you know where to find me! :) It was a pleasure to be able to help you guys out. Happy new years to you guys as well!
Very nice!!!! I love how creative you are with Home Depot parts. I would loved to have this to play with when I was a kid. What is the exact paint code for that Cobra blue?
This was a killer custom excellent work your creativity and craftsman ship really stands out. If hasbro made something like this I'd save tons of money for it lol. Quick question how did you do the flag banister in the throne room at 3:24
I provided the link to the music in the description if you are interested. It is the instrumental theme from the 1987 movie and I thought it would sound nice in the background of the showcase.
Thank you all for 10,000 views, our creation has been shown to many G.I. Joe fans and hopefully has inspired many to make something of their own!
GIVE THIS MAN A JOB, WE NEED THIS, HAIL COBRA!!!!

Super cool love it imagine some cobra bunkers and a bunch of cobra blue FLACKS.

What is the exact paint code for that Cobra blue?
I used Rust-Oleum Painters Touch 2X Ultra Cover Paint & Primer Satin Ink Blue Spray Paint. I hope this helps!
Cool. I'm going to ask to my arquitech to build that for real.

What's the base structure used? It looks familar to me.
The blue pieces under the base were apart of the playset we redesigned, we just repainted it.
@@SirElyk yeah thats what I meant what was this originally
@@mistyknightsbionicarm We showed it in the beginning of the video. It was a wooden pirate castle, that we bought at Toys R Us, years ago.
@@SirElyk lol 3 times i watched this i missed that but thanks I'm an idiot
3:26 And here we have the firing range, which never seems to do the COBRAs any good.
Your music sounds like a mish mash of GI Joe and Andrew WK
