    Very creative skills. I love it. It is way more cool to create something that the toy company never made in the first place. Well done and 👏 Bravo.

    I picked one of these up at a local Goodwill store for $3 a couple weeks ago. Probably going to do some serious custom work, and turn it into something like the Wolverine mobile missile launcher.

    the chap mei military vehicles have an absurd amount of reuse potential. if you're looking for another potential joe project, look into the chap mei soldier force exobot. that thing is brimming with potential.

    nicely done!
    you don t show the driver much, he looks like ironman.
    I read in the comments ultramarine.... what s that?
    if I still were on the joe scene, I d definitively build a few of those.
    you have better taste than Hasbro on the colours.
    hiss tanks would have looked way better in that kind of blue with the troopers.
    while the asp mobile cannon was too dark.
    royal blue is just right, too bad CC was baby blue, royal would have looked and fitted better.
    good job!

    What's the plastic quality like on that tank? It looks like it'd be a pretty legit toy on its own especially for the price.
    Of course your amazing work adds crazy amount of value to it- that looks like something straight out of the cartoon.

    • @cplctoyz
      @cplctoyz  2 года назад +3

      That's a great question! The plastic is very toy quality, but very flexible! I was able to bend and twist the plastic to take it apart without any stress marks.
      Thank you for the appreciation. I was going for a more cartoon-ish look as it is an advanced prototype, and wouldn't be the final product that Destro would sell to COBRA, but he'd try to seal the deal with CC with COBRA colors.
      Thanks for the view and the kind words!

  • @arsenalxa4421
    @arsenalxa4421 2 года назад +2

    I almost want to compare it to Destro's Plasma Tank that he was testing in the episode Hearts and Cannons. Shame it got wasted by a bog standard Mauler, though.

    • @cplctoyz
      @cplctoyz  2 года назад +2

      Toyhax.com
      I ordered stickers for a cobra tank. The red pin stripe is 3mm automotive pinstripe tape.

    Hello Bro!. Can you please share the Primer and Paints to use?

    • @cplctoyz
      @cplctoyz  2 года назад +2

      Spray paints were Krylon or rustolium all in one paint and primer. The hand painting was done with citadel paint, found on Amazon. Thanks for the view.

      @@cplctoyz Thanks bro! I wanted to paint The Corps "Beast Bomber" with some camo.

  • @Sigurther
    @Sigurther 2 года назад +4

    Interesting concept. My only complaints are that the paint job is a little too busy and the pallet should have been darker to align more with classic COBRA color schemes. Otherwise a fun build.

      Eh I think it's subjective. As far as the cartoon and Hasbro toys, I'd agree. However that bright yellow and picked out red is totally an early comics vibe.
      Either way great custom!

    Sorry bro but those are not mortar launchers, they are for smoke, to provide cover. they are smoke canisters bro, trust me I was in the Army, and I went to war in Iraq and Afghanistan, so trust me when I say they are smoke canister launchers.

    Can you say these tanks are a T 95 or T something? Definitely not modeled from M1 Abrams

    • @cplctoyz
      @cplctoyz  8 месяцев назад

      I do appreciate the view - however, no, I'm not going to re-edit a 2 year old video. Also, I believe that no where in the video do I identify what make or model tank this may be representing. It's just a toy. Let's just let it there, shall we? I hope you have a great day.

  • @manofaction1807

    That's a Russian tank. Great idea to repurpose it. Destro would give COBRA a deal on it- Two for One, only dropped once.
