Openings should always be as easy! Thank you for sharing your knowledge. The chess world needs you for a simplified & positional repertoire against 1. e4 on Chessable!
Thank you! In fact, I tried to make the Najdorf course based on positional understanding, something similar to these series, even though of course there are a few forcing variations there.
@@gmalexcolovic Good to know! I always stepped away from such theoretical monsters (I'm around 2000f and aiming for 2200). I may give it a try in the next sale! Thank you for your quality lessons!
Thanks to your Chessable course I play now the four knights of the English with e4 (Nimzowitsch Line in the Four Knights Variation). I really want to avoid ......d5 from Black.
1. Stockfish didn't lose every game in any opening, most were drawn but only the decisive results were published 2. Stockfish only lost because in order to allow engines to win against each other, suboptimal moves need to be played in the opening and then both engines play that position to see who does better. If just 1. c4 was played and Stockfish could do whatever it wanted with black from there, it would easily draw. 3. Alphazero is an old engine, new Stockfish is far superior and would crush it now.
Clear ideas and clear presentation. An excellent lecture.
Thank you!

Thank you, happy to hear it!
Cool idea
Thank you.
Great video can be tried in games thanks was looking for something against English. Can we play reverse Grand Prix against English?
Thanks! Yes, but a lot depends on White's move-orders.
Great channel
Thank you. Now I need some 100K more people to think the same! :)))

Thank you.
1.c4 e5 2.g3 d5 3.Bg2 are you wanting d4 ?
It's possible, but just 3...Nf6 would transpose to the lines in the video as White doesn't have good moves that are not cxd5.
Alex, you were supposed to fight the dark side, not join them!
I did, by avoiding this line in my course! :)) BTW, an idea for White coming up tomorrow! :)
Even Stockfish didn't manage anything against Alphazero's English Opening they lost all of them.
