Apenas usando a cotação de hoje o preço no Brasil seria de R$152.686. Mesmo sem os impostos a maioria das pessoas não conseguiriam comprar esse carro no Brasil não por culpa do governo, mas porque elas não investiram em educação e conseguiram um emprego que pague um salário alto. Isso vale também para Ingleses, não é qualquer pessoa que vai ter condições de pagar R$31,325 por um carro aqui, 50% da população do Reino Unido ganha apenas £1,050 por mês e aqui não tem essas coisas de 13º como tem no BR. O IPTU é no mínimo £100 por mês, aí tem eletricidade e gas, que em um país frio custa uns £100 por mês ou mais por causa da calefação, depois tem o aluguel que no mínimo custa uns £400, comida uns £200 por pessoa, quanto sobrou até agora? Sobrou £250. Eu não incluí custo com vestiário, com entretenimento (sair fora, cinema, barzinho), transporte, saúde. Então chega de mimimi, cansa ver vocês de mimimi o dia inteiro falando mal do governo, tira a sua bunda da cadeira, vai fazer um mestrado/doutorado, conseguir um trabalho que pague bem e compre o carro ao invés de botar culpa em políticos, nos países de primeiro mundo as pessoas trabalham 10x mais do que no Brasil, já foi comprovado por diversas pesquisas que a eficiência do trabalhador brasileiro é muito menor que a dos trabalhadores de países desenvolvidos, os políticos não tem NADA a ver com isso. I think they can do a lot to increase range and make that engine bay more efficient, maybe even bring in a frunk. whats with that engine looking as complicated as a general petrol engine anyway?
Capt Larry at 40 seconds they show the completed electrical motor. I was referring to the fact that it looks very similar to a standard petrol motor. With in my opinion a lot of connections. And in this line I didn't see petrol or diesel engines been assembled. I know this due to the large orange connections.
My only problem with this is they are late. The Bolt has been out for a year and has about twice the range. The 2018 Nissan Leaf is very nice and has more range. They are just late, late, late
Actually, no. The Nissan Leaf came out in 2010. The eGolf started production in 2011. The Chevy Bolt came 6 years later in 2017. So VW isn't late. However,.... The eGolf is an ICE vehicle that was converted to be an EV (hence the smaller range). The Leaf and Bolt were both designed from the start to be just EV's. VW's EV's that were planned to be EV's from the start (no ICE option) are not arriving until 2020 or later. So in that case, yes, they are late.
I consider things like the eGolf to be just compliance cars. They are not truly competitive. VW does not have a competitive EV and will not have one till 2020. That is giving GM and Nissan a lot of time to build up an installed bad
I wouldn't use the word "compliance". That infers that VW needs those sales to help lower their CAFE (Corporate Average Fuel Economy). VW only sold 178 eGolf's in January (out of 24,744 cars) - That's *less than* 1% (actually it's .719 of a percent). 1% is not doing anything to help their CAFE. Instead of compliance, we should refer to the eGolf as a "band aid" car; it just exists to fill the gap until the real solutions come to market. It's a good car, has reasonable range, is fun to drive, and looks good.
when the hell will there a a 60kw battery pack in that car... my 2016 Golf TSI lease end december 2019 and I WANT and e-golf but with decent autonomy... not 90km range when it's -22°C...

you don't know what you are looking at. they showed gas and electric being made side by side.
