Awww, as someone who doesn’t have a close relationship with my dad, I loved seeing a normal, functional relationship between these two. They have a great energy & I loved how they made themselves giggle like old buddies.

@@girlsdrinkfeck Most of the food and drinks that they reviewed were organic and organic food is pricey.
This was definitely one of the more entertaining episodes. You should do these regularly with your son, and maybe other comparative products that you two choose what's better.

Slate Milk was actually very early in their development when they went on Shark Tank and they updated their taste profile since the airing so the reaction of Mark Cuban was for something completely different

Really wholesome how they are both father and son and best friends. Really reminds me of my relationship with my father. Unfortunatly he past away in 2017. Miss him every day.
This is a really fun idea for a video. I laughed at plant-based tater tots, though. Aren't the normal ones just potato?

Probably referring to no added extra ingredients like the vague "natural flavor" that regular tater tots have, which can come from plant and/or animal sources.

I don't like dates, the taste, or texture. I don't think they could modify it enough to make me want to eat that one, so I was surprised at how much they both liked it

I’d be willing to splurge of I saw it in the store but the shipping price is yikes
If there are just dates in there it's a steeper ingredient than the crap that is in usual spreads. Some price may be because of ST, too, but if you have a high percentage of ingredient instead of just corn syrup and water you pay more. But you save on your health bill in the long run.
This will definitely help me make healthy snack choices that taste good.

I just had a son less than a week ago and it’s so cool to me that you get to do this with your boy. I can only imagine how proud of him I’ll be and how cool it’ll be to have him help me with my business and enjoy my time with him. Seeing you two makes me smile thinking about my future.

Some of these are just marketing BS. Not everything has gluten to start with so of course it is gluten free. Same for some of the other no claims. So they are trying to get sales or sell at a higher price by putting claims on there that aren't needed. plant based tots... potatoes are plants. Same as the vegetarian claim for the popped water lily seeds, pop corn is (or can also be) vegetarian. All the matters is how you pop it and what you put on it.
When he said "rolling greens" my mind went to another whole kind of rolled greens, lol!
As with any relationship, it requires work to maintain this type of parent-child dynamic. Congratulations to both of you guys for having such a positive relationship.

A lot of these foods look delicious but way out of the realm of affordability for me.
Yup, it costs lots to print "gluten free" on products that never have wheat (or the other grains that have gluten) in them.
Yeah, any product that costs this much is going to be a stinker no matter how good it tastes

I could afford these snack foods, but I would probably buy them once out of curiosity. The prices are way too high to make these a regular purchase. There are far more affordable, healthier, widely available snacks, such as veggie chips. The owners of these companies think they can charge $5 for a small bag of food to put words like gluten free, dairy free, GMO free, nut free, and vegan. Wanna know what else is gluten free, dairy free, GMO free, nut free, and vegan? Regular Lay's potato chips.

I appreciate you doing this, I have food allergies and a lot of the times I'll pass on buying something because they're more expensive and I don't know if I'll like them. At least this way I can see how other people, especially those who don't have to be restrictive, like or don't like them.

Well, hopefully not. Ka-Pop is not bad. And then other Shark Tank inventions like Squatty Potty and Scrub Daddy have done really well.

The relationship you have with your son is awesome, wish my dad and I don’t bump heads as much as we do. Just recently became a father late 2020, and I hope I can build a relationship as strong as you two.

Great show!! We went vegan 11 years ago, well more vegan than not and found awesome replacements for everything we loved before. What we haven't replaced we find we don't miss. Healthy eating is good as health management and that is how it was meant to be!

Popcorn is vegan, gluten free, healthy unless with butter. Lot of those products are way overpriced
We have plant-based, butter in DK. Can definitely recommend it if your geographic location allows it. It tastes great.

cauliflower tots are great and easy to find at any grocery store these days. just have to cook them the right way to get them crispy. air fryers work pretty well for that, deep frying may work too. much cheaper than those fancy ones and cauliflower is less calories/fat/no carb so probably a little healthier.
I love you two together! I don't watch Shark Tank( don't have TV) so I had never heard of these products but this was a fun video to watch. I wouldn't mind another like it. LOL

That water lily seed popcorn are common here in India but it's mostly without flavour it is used for verious dishes

So much of these vegan and healthier foods now include coconut. I’ve never had a full anaphylactic reaction to coconut but I have ended up with major hives and a wheezy chest. Some of my favourite brands have added it and I have to keep reading labels because it’s not part of the usually reported allergens. My husband and I went to the National car museum (we’re in the uk) and we decided to stop in the cafe, my husband had most of the cup of ice cream then asked if I wanted the rest, there was no mention of coconut on the menu so I had the last couple of spoons full and ended up covered in hives and a tingling mouth. After way too much searching on the internet I found out they recently added coconut
