      They should not have used so specific of a name with burrito. There are a lot of foods that you can push up and eat while walking around, slushies, ice cream, cubed fruit, salami, put any sized can/bottle in it surrounded curshed ice. Then it doesn't have to be washed after every use like a normal drink cup would. Also, some of those Mexican burritos are huge and if you get one from the food truck at work this would probably save your shirt a few stains.

      I think the whole point is our normal tasting action is influenced my smell even when we're not actively sniffing? I don't think the goal is to sniff while you drink, rather drink and subconsciously determine some of the taste by smell.

    • @Amarianee
      @Amarianee 2 года назад +1

      @@boojersey13 the point of the tabs is to trick your mind by incorporating smell, since yes, taste is influenced by smell. However, that doesn't change the fact that people are going to be trying to actively sniff the tabs (especially since they're not very strong, as he stated) _while_ they drink, which will inadvertently least to aspirating the drink. Food and drink that has a strong smell influences the taste, because it typically gets to your nose before you're actively trying to swallow, at which point you block off the passage to your trachea, preventing inhalation of food/drinks. These tabs induce people to try to inhale _as_ they're drinking, whether that was the intention or not, which prevents the default mechanism of blocking off the trachea, since you're breathing. It's a bad design and dangerous for people not regularly thinking about the natural actions of the body.

    I actually like the mask expander. I got them at the start of the pandemic. It really does help when you have tighter or thicker fabric masks and or are wanting to wear lipstick or gloss without it getting everywhere. While yes it makes your face a little sweaty because of the condensation from your breath, it does really help with air flow so that you're not breathing in the face mask, essentially making it a sleep cocoon for your face.
    I think you make it a little better is to line the inside with some kind of fabric to help with the moisture and any dents it might put in your face from long periods of wear!

      I agree, I can definitely see a need for the kind of product, but I do not think that this particular version was designed with that in mind. The roller/rotator is tiny, not easy to grip, plus the fact that it required multiple tries -- not ideal. So while I 100% agree that the review missed quite a bit, I agree with the reviewer that the Heinz specific cutter seems to be mostly novelty.

A better design would have a compartment you insert the packet into, that does the cutting rolling and squirting all in one go.

They keep your mask in place, you can talk all day without having to pull it up constantly. They also keep your mask from "breathing", it'll keep it's shape. And they help with fogging glasses.
    If you wear lipstick or lip balm, it'll stay on your lips.
    I think you had such a problem with it, because you tried it in Vegas, in the summer. I live in Vegas too, it is a bit sweaty, but I added some cloth to mine for the summer.

    I was not surprised by a single thing in this Dishonorable Mentions 2021 Edition. The ice cube deal still gets me. And the Burrito Pop has had me wondering if there are better uses for it. A stack of Pringles would honestly be a better use, but I was trying to think of far less messy things (non food items). I wonder what shenanigans 2022 will bring us. 🤔👀😁 But I am hoping for a Father / Son All things Christmas Review (lights, gadgets...).

      @cmm3699 2 года назад +3

      The can only thing that the burrito pop could be good for is holding spill-able things before you get home. Like if you make/order 3 drinks, but only have 2 cup holders in your car. Or if you make/order a sub sandwich or burrito, but don’t want to get smushed when driving to somewhere else. Still tho, there are way better items to use for those situations.
      Non food wise…I truly can’t think of anything besides rolled up ties and socks maybe? But the function of the burrito pop would still seem unnecessary in my opinion.

    An idea for your reviews is Feejays. Sweatpants with feet. I can’t stand covers over my legs and at 6’5”, my feet hang off the edge of the bed. I get cold feet, and before Feejays, I slept with sweatpants and wool socks. Inevitably the gap between the top of the socks and the bottom of the sweats would get wider as I slept due to my moving around. Feejays was an almost perfect solution. My only wish would be that they would make their tall length a little longer and in more sizes (xxl tall would be perfect. I also wish they had a fly, but not an issue without it. These are well made and holding together very well after over one year of use. Thanks for what you do. I love your show!

      Dude you're 6'5? Obviously not the only one with too small bed. I'm sure someone makes custom beds for giants. It's gonna cost more but you'll be able to enjoy a nights sleep. Probably change your life. One of things that after you do you can't believe you didn't do it sooner.

    Here's another comment disagreeing with your take on the cool turtle. I have been using mine since the beginning of the pandemic. I breathe better WITH it. I also feel I speak better too. Plus it keeps my lip balm from rubbing off. The best one for me is the hard plastic (looks like the turtle). I tried a similar silicone version that I did not like. I ser a lotta folks who disagree.

    I have a mask shield like your "Cool Turtle" (though I've never heard of that specific branding), I really, really like mine. It keeps the fabric off of my lips so it doesn't wick moisture from my mouth and I find it much easier to breathe with a little space between the fabric and my mouth.

    The Kitchen Cube would have been a good idea if it was a bunch of different measuring spoons that could be assembled into a cube for storage but otherwise be able to be used separately. As it is, it's only a way to make a mess. Unless you wash it after every single use, I guess, but that's just cumbersome.

    Funny thing about that magic broom. My friend made something similar with an actual hand squigy, a broom stick, and duct tape. And it worked hair out of carpet far better than that thing because of the angle of the squigy. Of course it eventually wore out and he got a vacuum that picked up hair, but at least he only spent about $7 bucks on a hand squigy.

    there is a perfect use case for magic broom (i have a similar product at home)...its good for use in bathrooms without ventilation
    if you have wet bathroom floor and would like it to dry quickly, its useful to sweep away the excess water...a normal squeegee would be more bacteria-prone and is bulky. a window squeegee is too small (and too short) for the job.
