    Both Steve and Mishimas have single handedly warped my play-style.
    They jab a lot, ewgf hell sweep and the way that I handle the matchup with my dragunov, is I back dash, duck their jabs/flurries, and then punish, or side step the hell sweep.
    As a result I have a bad habit with ducking, so everyone that catches onto that habit, launches the crap out of me haha 😂
    But I love seeing how Steve handles a combo God Mishima player like the dark prince. It just shows just how experienced he is competing.
    Ironically like how a boxer in real life would be more experienced in a real fight than your average karate fighter.
    They train and spar and compete absolutely, but nowhere as vigorously as a boxer.
    Great matchup from all of them.
    Loved it two months ago, love it again! Thanks MainManSwe for the commentary brother, love you.

    That idea of playing mishima's to develop fundamentals is a really good idea once you have the basics. I played Miguel a lot he's got some good get our jail moves to deal with pressure like his armour move is amazing and b1 counter hit is one of the quickest in the game. I moved over to Jin to try a "higher teir" character and really felt caught out. To be anywhere near as successful (which I'm still not) I needed to work on knowing and exploiting my opponents move list and needed far better execution and movement.

    10:10 I agree with that so much it hurts,I figured I was too new in Tekken to have an opinion on Knee's style,but when he used Kazuya vs Arslan he threw like 3 electrics in the whole set.I do get the feeling that sometimes he is playing too safe and giving up too much space.I could be wrong tho

    Knee's safe playstyle can really be seen by contrasting his Paul with Justice's Paul. Knee sticks to safe moves, unseeable lows and basic combos. Justice does crazy shit and makes up for it by having god-tier Paul execution where any time he gets anything, it's big.

    One of the things I like to do when rewatching fights is how they start off their matches. With Mishimas if you start off wrong, it can be kind of overwhelming. I love how pro players always adjust super fast to someone's style. I personally would need at least 12 matches to make a slight adjustment and maybe 30 to have a solid gameplan in any fighter. Sometimes I feel like I can never learn matchups but I'm not really a huge Tekken player.

    This match exactly shows that you should focus on your punishment movements and spacing rather than combos in this video Dp as usual goes for high damage combos not optimising them for the situation results is dropping combos the other factor is tournament pressure i am sure he hasn't played with knee before so it's also a different kind of pressure playing against with renown famous player on the other hand knee with himself is kazuya player knows almost all stats of kazuya he didn't take much time to understand dp kazuya sticking to his fundamental and duck spacing he out perform dp as you can see in the video knee many times just ducks the electic to punish kazuya it's pretty hard to read electrics specially electric expert dp

      Yeah the wording was goofy but if you go listen again he said that Steve is a terrible match-up *FOR* Mishimas. Not that he has a terrible matchup against them.

    B1 11fr and therefore 3 frames faster than ewgf isn’t it? What’s TMM talking about?

      Ewgf is 11-12 wavedash is 2 frames min

    • @samspade3203
      @samspade3203 5 лет назад +1

      Remy Slender ewgf is14 frames at its fastest from neutral, the move comes out in 11 frames after you hit 2, the command adds 3 frames: f, neutral, down (3 frames), df2(11frames). Using a wave dash to close distance can make it effectively 11 frames while moving in but that’s situational. In general though TMMs talking rubbish, ewgf 14 frames, b1 11 frames

    • @remyslender
      @remyslender 5 лет назад

      @@samspade3203 this is exactly what I said but you forgot about kaz mis step which is 2 wavedash is just the motion Tekken has yomi so give everything a 1frame leniency cause it doesn't always hit on the first impact frame

    • @samspade3203

      Remy Slender then I don’t get the point of your reply, the question is about tmms comparison b1 and ewgf

    • @remyslender
      @remyslender 5 лет назад

      @@samspade3203 clearly you don't get it once the wavedash is buffered as long as you press 2 same time ewgf comes out the ewgf part is 11-12 depending on hit box and range do it will either lose or always trade with Steve b1 but kaz mist step is 2 frames which you didn't state which makes the interaction quicker I was just adding to your reply

    Original character name is Bruce Lee how we forget his fast moves in 1/10 seconds , Must add in takken and all other Games, Bruce Lee deserve his real name in game Character , never Sarcisim wins ☝️🤔💚✊

    This right heree proves why Knee loses in tourny and why FT2 is fuckin LAME. The better player comes out on top the more games there are.......... Therefore tournaments don't really tell the whole story.
