Arslan fundamentals is very on-point. 4:16. Arslan sees the possible WS4 since Knee just used d3 so he backdashes and gets the whiff, then punishes with f+3, 2 and performs a beautiful 3-tiger combo that ends the set. Are you not entertained?
The dude must never lose at rock paper scissors either. How tf can someone defend like that?? At this point it seems like the only thing that will hit this dude are Yoshi unblockables. Just incredible.
All of you complaining this and that Arslan in EVO Japan was Different as compared to EVO USA FFS please try to understand that he had training with best mishima player on planet Qudans in 2nd KSA tournament. so it's obvious that he knows more about Kazuya & Devil Jin.
Thing with knee compared to boa luv is that boa luv is using the wave dash for a lot more mid moves and while rising moves perfectly animation canceled after his wave dash, the guy has some crazy wave dash that reminds you of old tekken games tas bots hiding his intentions perfectly making you gamble during defending against that guy.
I never expected tekken (my all time favorite fighting game) to get to this point in our life time where we have tournaments for this, it’s crazy and I’m all for it.
Problem Knee made @10:04 - is he hesitated his decisions and didn’t lock him down properly at first so he wouldn’t have time to side step. Knee shouldn’t have just dashed up and hellsweeped. That’s some like green rank tactic. First use a good poke or tracking move that may be safe then hellsweep if you can input it really fast like Boaluv does
Yes I was sweating my ass watching the stream. I shouted and was nearly crying when Knee won against Anakin so we truly got the final that we all wanted to see. I wanted Knee so badly to win this time against Arslan ... Cheering , screaming , shouting at 4am in the morning. That shit was so emotional to watch ..
So as I observed.. Arslan defensive state are mostly seen in fights against Knee. His fights when he used Geese however, you can see he's playing in a much more aggressive state. Knee's disadvantage in the first place ofc was how he needed to win extra rounds just to restart the match. It must be stressful to endure a fight against the guy who gave you nightmares. And it's the Grand Final for God's sake, ofc both sides would be playing safe and defensive. There will be lots of poking.
I really do think the only true way to take out Arslan is just throwing the kitchen sink at him and make him expect the unexpected because he plays the best defensively right now
I think TMM could easily solidify himself as a community personality along with markman, Aris, Rip, Steve, etc. He should do commentary at a tournament sometime
As an ex-casual player and nowadays purely spectator, I can about recognise that Arslan is playing incredible Tekken, but I can't quite make out exactly /what/ he's doing that's good. He's so many levels above me I can't even decipher his gameplay 😂
not to mention his ability of spacing, punish, i lowkey could assert that his 'fuzzy guard' is insane, just on another level far from existing players. covering both mid and low at once very effectively, while giving out only small lows like d3
God, watching this match was just... I was practically yelling at the screen, just HELLSWEEP HIM! That's the whole reason you picked this character! There were times when Knee was just staring at Arslan, waiting for his next move, but he absolutely couldn't afford to be in that position.
everyone arslan this arslan that yet nobody give some applause to the japanese players who did well this year Evo Tekken, 4 japan players out of top 8.. FT10 Japan (inviting Arslan few months ago) did improve their overall results.
It was Japanese players who were talk of the Town and unbeaten GOD of Tekken till Arsalan arrived to the shore. So, him getting all the attention is perfectly justified I guess.
He adjusts his style when opponent makes move this is muscle memory it does't mean he already know it means he remembers the movements of opponent and muscle memory does the rest.
Those side steps and step forward and back is hard, because you have to time it right. Its insane how Arslan avoids just a few mm from the opponent attacks and then within a second to do a special move to atack. You have to move really fast on the joystick.
I'm not an expert at Tekken, but I think the reason Knee was doing those 3~4 roll move against Arslan, and the fact that it was working is because of how similar it looks to hell sweep. It looks like Arslan has the ability to react to hell sweep based on the animation and also block ff3, so that 3~4 is sort of like a truer mixup in a sense. The fact that it hit numerous times kinda shows that it sas working.
The 2 players who have given arslan trouble besides boa are shadow and jimmy but SPECIFICALLY bryan df1 chain spam and shadow's claudio doing excessive jabs. There must be something to this to open up arslan's style I think
Arslan Ash is very dangerous player i saw every match i can see that Asrlan Ash change fighting style on every round and he beat every one with Geese but for Knee he fight with his Primery player Kazumi. Unbelievable Arslan Ash i wish you good luck you nailed it man.
Mr.Naps won because Arslan was off the flight straight into the match .. He flew NY to West Coast and was late for the match ... plus their matches are always to the wire both are so good at adopting ...
Knee kaz is great but mr. loves kaz is amazing. He’s ready to take risk. He’s a character specialist he understand playing Kazuya take some risk. I watched love and he wave dash into while rising 2 a lot makes kazuya more deadly and it tracks side walking opponents very well. I started practicing this with my kazuya so I can have more options out of wave dash
Knee has a better Kaz than BoA. The difference is that BoA surprised Arslan by going on extreme offense. It generally doesn't work so a lot of people don't expect it at high level.
Before Evo Japan ...nobody knew who Arslan Ash was....now the entire tekken world knows his name. No longer Tekken is the domain of Japanese and Korean players..... Respect for Arslan Ash...a true hero...
You know what, I can't help but feel sad for Knee. Most people cheer *against* Knee... mostly because they know he's the god of Tekken, and so people who beat him are legendary. Still, you can't deny this is one of the most iconic wins in recent Tekken history.
Boa can probably do a 16 frame hellsweep , his execution is better than knee , which allowed him to rush with kaz , when he plays it’s like jab into instant hell sweep
It's been first time to comment on your video just to insure you that both matches he lost because of travelling issues. At first in Japan Evo he lost because of 2 days of travelling due to visa issue. He had nominal sleep and very much heart broken. Therefore he lost against Bova louvb. Otherwise I m sure if Bova louvb comes to Pakistan and take apart in any tourneys, he might not be able to make top 50 TBH. I know in Pakistan we have talented Tekken killers. They will not give him a stand. And in Evo USA his flight delayed and he already had 30 hours for travelling and no sleep and keep in mind that he still gave very much hard time to Mr.Nap. I m sure he would have won both matches otherwise. 🤗🤗🤗
say what you want, but kazumi's d/f+1 is broken. whenever knee blocks it, he sidesteps, arshlan throws another one and forces knee to block it again. it has amazing tracking. and of course, makes kazumi move foward too.
According to me, knee lost cauz of the restricted movements devs implemented in tekken 7. knee just couldn't even side stepped arslan's df1, couldn't even back dashed out of pressure. that was crazy. plus he didn't wanted to play aggressively so the only option that had was GUESS. and we know no one can guess right every time...
I personally think knee respected Arslan way too much in the first two games with kazuya. Not a single ch df2 was made nor even a single hellsweep that landed. I actually think kazuya is the perfect character against Arslan's playstyle. No 50/50 mixup either. I think it's just safe to assume that Knee was hella nervous.
Im a huge Knee fan and it was so hard to admit and agree Arslan is a better player than Knee...but after watching the grand finals again i could definitly say that now he is a better player than him. Big respect to Arslan and huge love and support for Knee!
i think knee wanted to launch her df1,2, but in the end ash never ended the string, and because of that knee never tried to do anything after blocking df1.

I don't think BoalubB can defeat Arslan again because Arslan probably lost to him because Arslan had 0 tournament experience and could not adapt quickly unlike how he did it today from Knee going crazy with DJ and getting a match to Arslan Realizing that and blocking 2 hellsweeps in a row and doing 3-0 on knee. So it's not like Arslan can not answer Aggressive play style. Every top 8 can answer Aggressive play style. And for Jimmy, He thinks just like Arslan, He feels just what Arslan feels. Making their Sets always coming to the Final Final Round and after that luck takes over their sets, where it preferred Arslan in EVO JAPAN and Jimmy in WSOE
People saying Knee needed to play the 50/50 are silly. Knee choose Kazuya to launcher df+1,2 and to crush jabs with CD+3+4. In relation to Jimmy beating Arslan, let's not forget low soccer kick is a low that you can't see and is +4 after it hits. Arslan tried to duck it but Jimmy was throwing soo many mids out Arslan couldn't get the read. And when the low landed Arslan was frozen at +4 and was afraid to press buttons.

Arslan showed he was the better fight numerous times. Good fight from them both, I don't think anyone was holding back and why would they at a championship.
who said who was holding back? i think you are talking out of your ass lol. i think people are only concerned with arslan poking and turtling aka hit and run which makes for a boring play style but his crazy reactions and reflexes make up for it. it's like this guy's a robot who's able to predict any move you throw at him and he auto counters it.
@@shadowblitzo123 generally saw it on some comments here and there.

>okay.
@@shadowblitzo123 dude chill lol it was still a good fight. Sometimes you need to play defensively and with everything on the line, it happens.
@@shadowblitzo123 Imagine being this unpleasant...
Love your commentary brother keep posting these!!
Arslan fundamentals is very on-point.
4:16. Arslan sees the possible WS4 since Knee just used d3 so he backdashes and gets the whiff, then punishes with f+3, 2 and performs a beautiful 3-tiger combo that ends the set.
Are you not entertained?
"That's a beautiful combo. Everyone shit themselves simultaneously in the arena, like literally."
The dude must never lose at rock paper scissors either. How tf can someone defend like that?? At this point it seems like the only thing that will hit this dude are Yoshi unblockables. Just incredible.
When Knee picked Kaz, I was really really expecting him to play like BoA!
But nah, it was just some poking
and besides, kazuya's poking is ass
Same, I thought that was Knee’s gameplan from the start
I just shook my head when I saw what actually happen
We all expected a much different kazuya from knee
@@alikhavari4250 Not really, I expected him to unleash the vortex on arslan, but it went the other way. He still played well, but not well enough imo.
@@wktryj i don't understand, that is exactly what i meant, we all expected a vortex kazuya
All of you complaining this and that
Arslan in EVO Japan was Different as compared to EVO USA
FFS please try to understand that he had training with best mishima player on planet Qudans in 2nd KSA tournament.
so it's obvious that he knows more about Kazuya & Devil Jin.
Great Commentary MainMan! Respect
3:01 sync snapping
Respect for both players. I'm happy for Arslan, also when he kneel to Allah. As a Muslim I'm so happy he did that.
Been waiting for this upload
I never expected tekken (my all time favorite fighting game) to get to this point in our life time where we have tournaments for this, it’s crazy and I’m all for it.
"Fuck them kids." -Kazumi Mishima
But in the end Arslan literally dominated knee with that insane pressure and consistent aggression.
Arslan is one of the best players in Pakistan. yet he beat the old Tekken gods. Welcome to the new Tekken God
Not god dear
So as I observed.. Arslan defensive state are mostly seen in fights against Knee.
His fights when he used Geese however, you can see he's playing in a much more aggressive state.
Knee's disadvantage in the first place ofc was how he needed to win extra rounds just to restart the match. It must be stressful to endure a fight against the guy who gave you nightmares.
And it's the Grand Final for God's sake, ofc both sides would be playing safe and defensive. There will be lots of poking.
I really do think the only true way to take out Arslan is just throwing the kitchen sink at him and make him expect the unexpected because he plays the best defensively right now
Tekken 7 is such a great game. I'm proud of following Tekken until now. Congrats to Arslan
I'm loving these post Evo videos
I think TMM could easily solidify himself as a community personality along with markman, Aris, Rip, Steve, etc. He should do commentary at a tournament sometime
15:17 here you hear TheMainBabySWE cheering for knee's comeback
As an ex-casual player and nowadays purely spectator, I can about recognise that Arslan is playing incredible Tekken, but I can't quite make out exactly /what/ he's doing that's good. He's so many levels above me I can't even decipher his gameplay 😂
not to mention his ability of spacing, punish, i lowkey could assert that his 'fuzzy guard' is insane, just on another level far from existing players. covering both mid and low at once very effectively, while giving out only small lows like d3
same
God, watching this match was just... I was practically yelling at the screen, just HELLSWEEP HIM! That's the whole reason you picked this character! There were times when Knee was just staring at Arslan, waiting for his next move, but he absolutely couldn't afford to be in that position.
Lol when knee picked devil jin arslan low parried every hell sweep that knee threw at him.
It's hard to hellsweep when you're getting bombarded by d f 1
@@datfacepriceless3442 You fucking idiot!
He low parried every hellsweep. You're such a dumbass. So, desperate to downplay arslan.

New Moto for MainMan "you'd have to have been there to experience it" happy i met you and KingJay, you guys are very humble.
watch the godly hellsweep dodge by arsalan at 6:00
Arslan is Knee's kryptonite, Knee may have invented the modern Korean playing style for Tekken but Arslan perfected it...
everyone arslan this arslan that yet nobody give some applause to the japanese players who did well this year Evo Tekken, 4 japan players out of top 8..
That's true but a lot of people don't get your point.
Those side steps and step forward and back is hard, because you have to time it right. Its insane how Arslan avoids just a few mm from the opponent attacks and then within a second to do a special move to atack. You have to move really fast on the joystick.
I like the prayer part in the end
After Evo Las Vegas, Knee has lost twice to Arslan in Ft10 and Ft5
It was Knee steve only vs Arslan Kazumi only
Who is watching it again after Awais Honey beat KNEE in FV Cup 2019. Another monster from Pakistan 😎👍
You should do more matches against arsenalty and king jae
Facts
How come nobody can block or low parry Kazumi’s lows? I swear they never do it against Arslan and god know these guys have insane reactions
Its like Hworang, sometimes you get conditioned to never want to duck.
6:24 WHAT THE FUCK!?!
That sidestep and then immedialety electric. Sick
16:50 Is that MainMan himself in the background xD
Where tho
Now I think he was able to can open arslan's defense using Paul Phoenix
The 2 players who have given arslan trouble besides boa are shadow and jimmy but SPECIFICALLY bryan df1 chain spam and shadow's claudio doing excessive jabs. There must be something to this to open up arslan's style I think
remember when everyone thought Book was gonna be the new God after beating Knee
You're almost gonna hit 100k subs! Congrats TMM. Love from Pakistan ❤
Arslan Ash is very dangerous player i saw every match i can see that Asrlan Ash change fighting style on every round and he beat every one with Geese but for Knee he fight with his Primery player Kazumi. Unbelievable Arslan Ash i wish you good luck you nailed it man.
Fighting Kazumi must be like death by a thousand cuts. It looks frustrating to play against and tedious to open up with all those fast options.
Thx for this video love it... keep it up :)
That was some great ass tekken. Arslan you have my respect and knee you always be a tekken god
Mr.Naps won because Arslan was off the flight straight into the match .. He flew NY to West Coast and was late for the match ... plus their matches are always to the wire both are so good at adopting ...
Is he out of that?
Boa can probably do a 16 frame hellsweep , his execution is better than knee , which allowed him to rush with kaz , when he plays it’s like jab into instant hell sweep
thanks for sharing .. love from pakistan
say what you want, but kazumi's d/f+1 is broken. whenever knee blocks it, he sidesteps, arshlan throws another one and forces knee to block it again. it has amazing tracking. and of course, makes kazumi move foward too.
it doesnt track to ssr but arslan used alot of b2 to keep knee in place
Tekken should be an Olympic game. I feel their anxiety into my bones
I was so hyped seeing Kazuya
React to Arslan's interview
every time i watch a tekken tournement i think why no body plays tekken in syria
it feel's like you are the only person who loves this game 😢😢😢😢😢
Arslan is the Tim Duncan of Tekken. Not that flashy in the mainstream but his fundamental are fucking sexy
14:10 I disagree, I’d say Leo’s ws4,1+2 is the best 11f ws punish in the game.
I would say both. Leo's ws4, 1+2 walksplats only in a specific distance. Also +8 is on high lvl play maybe even better than a far knockdown
Their both good and both have their pros and cons.
Congratulations to him 👏👏👏👏
Boa Luvb: Not enough hellsweeps and wavedash into wr2
Im a huge Knee fan and it was so hard to admit and agree Arslan is a better player than Knee...but after watching the grand finals again i could definitly say that now he is a better player than him. Big respect to Arslan and huge love and support for Knee!
TMM did u meet with arslan or knee after the final? What did they have to say about the match?
He didnt meet them. He wanted to but finding people was very hard in EVO sadly :(
Fair enuf
i think knee wanted to launch her df1,2, but in the end ash never ended the string, and because of that knee never tried to do anything after blocking df1.
Theres the chance to knee improve yourself and your playstyle to another lvl. Thats what means have someone more strong then you
He should’ve picked heihachi atleast . Punch parry would’ve helped
I strongly agree. I believe that parrys are the key to beating Arslan.
Why not steve if u want punch perrt

It's funny nobody ever knew Boa since he beaten Arslan who was a nobody at that time too.
he trying to do the Boa luvb tactic but he forgot you need a beyblade to do his vortex
I want Knee to play Bryan in tournament again sooo bad. It feels like sometimes he'll sooner play Chloe in tournament than Bryan lol.
I think Knee has given up on Bryan after he said Bryan doesn't have the tools to win in competition.
Aptly put.
And when the low landed Arslan was frozen at +4 and was afraid to press buttons.
arsalan must have a higher level observation haki it seems
You try to beat the master of fundamentals (arslan) with a fundamentally based character (kazuya)? Not throwing shade, just thinking 🤔
What's up MainMan! I've been waiting for you to do a commentary on this match! Hope your trip to EVO was a memorable one!
He should have picked Bryan for the redemption arc boost
