It's a shame it came across to you this way in the video. If you're talking about fully zoomed in, I was just trying to give an idea of the range, here, rather than perfect conditions. The depth of field is shallower than the stock lens, much more so when zoomed in. I've had it looking really pin sharp in normal use, certainly much sharper than the webcam is without the lens (and it already wasn't bad, even with the stock lens). Also bear in mind that RUclips compresses things, so might be worth setting it manually to 1080p and having another look. I mean, the mod hasn't been useless to me: it's solved the problems I wanted to solve, and then some, for a very low cost.
