Great video except for the blurry parts. This is exactly what I needed. We have low water pressure so we are installing a holding tank, pressure tank and booster pump. I like the idea of it running off of 12volts! I can go Solar and wind to power it.
Thanks for all the great technical videos. You give a great service to all of us with such great professional videos and technical advice . One question I have for you in a grid down scenario . All of the gas stations will be sitting with no way to pump out there fuel with no electricity. What would you use in the way of a mechanical pump designed for pumping gas out of an underground gas tank in a grid down situation?
Thanks for your great work it is very much appreciated.
Dear, sir. You once salvaged some radiators from a school. Did you ever install them in your attic? And how is your rainwater catchment system coming along? A loyal wiever. Thanks
Thanks for all You do to help People learn, It really does help! Do You ever run into sulfur water? if so how do You deal with that? Your one of the best! Keep' em coming.
Your videos are awesome! I think you filmed today before having your coffee (a little out of focus) :). Please keep up the videos. They are very informative.
Personally you wealth of knowledge makes up for the little bit of shakiness of the camera. I never really noticed it till you mentioned it lol Look forward to your vids they are great!!
Nice video how much do those pumps cost down there? i don't see any advantage to why you run the positive through both contacts on the pressure switch, i would just use one and save the 2nd one for when the contacts on the first one wear down.
Would wiring the negative leads to the pressure switch, versus the way you wired it here using the positive lead, extend the life of the switching contacts?
I have built a gravity water system with a tower and tank. I use an air lift pump to fill my tank. The water pressure is very low so using things like a water sprinkler for my garden doesn't work. Would one of these pumps work for that application?
I have a well and my water pressure is great except for the shower it has very low pressure and I can't figure out why... Any ideas on what I can do to fix that? My set up is old and the pipes are old as well... I don't *think* I have a leak but I have no idea what the problem is. Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)
hello i have a question: how do i hook a garden hose to a jet pump? i cant find a vid how to do so if you could do vid on how to do so that would be very helpful
I notice you use a 10 micron filter followed by ceramic. My question is can that pump handle a 5 micron filter, followed by the same set up? Maybe I am out in left field, but I thought 10 microns might let some bacteria through, although the ceramic filter should handle that. Maybe I am out in left field, but any guidance and wisdom you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated. I am in WV and am looking at lifting water a pretty good vertical distance over a fairly short run.
How do I get in touch with you. I have a large rain harvesting system with underground cisterns. I want a solar solution, not for off grid , but because the grid is unreliable( El Salvador) This system is just awesome. I have really enjoyed your vids.
I do not completely understand how this works. I presume that it just increases pressure of water and that is it. When you do the install, perhaps you can get a bit more detailed as to advantages, especially in my case for a well that delivers only 2 gph and runs out of water often. I would like to have more pressure though.Thanks.
i have 65 acres of land and a well...but its 250 ft deep...how would i get the water out with that deep a hole? with solar..or any other way thats off gride.....right now i have a 1/2 hp 240 volt pump...thanks
I guess maybe you're not an EE, the way you've wired that Square D pressure will not make it last longer, you have the contacts wired in series, not parallel... and No negative switching is not better.
Um...I prefer you off the tripod. Sure, the tripod may be less shakey, but my brain can stabilize the image, and I do not need just a talking head. I like seeing what youre working on from your perspective! To each their own, I suppose, but....my vote would be for no tripod. Thanks again for your work.
Let the whiners make noise. I learn a lot from your videos. Not in the least concerned about you taking the camera off tripod. Bring the info and let the silly twits go hum a tune.
No "flack" from me brother. I appreciate everything you share. Thank you.

yeah im definitely going to get your help on the power and water when i need advice

Thank you, thank you. Much better video and your presentation is very good. Next year I may ask for auto focus for Xmas.
Thanks for all You do to help People learn, It really does help!

Your one of the best!
Keep' em coming.
I always enjoy your informative videos...tri-pod or not, keep the vids coming. Again thanks for sharing your knowledge with us via YT.

Great work as usual, thank you for all of your efforts.
Scott would that flow lite booster pump work rain catchment and lawn irrigation? Thanks. I love all of your videos-great stuff
That's a great set up!
4:00 can you share the NEC article(s) covering this approach? Or explain how this makes it last longer?

Great video and system... How much does something like this go for?
Did you do a video where you turned the fridge into a vacuum chamber and the food kept for a long time and the compressor hardly ran?
Would wiring the negative leads to the pressure switch, versus the way you wired it here using the positive lead, extend the life of the switching contacts?
How much would you say that setup costs? Love you channel. keep em cumming.
love all your vids ...keep them coming ....thanks.........
Thank you for your vidos there great. Could you give me a web site to the water pump you vust showed?
hi eng 775, i love your vids.. have you ever done a vid on rocket mass stove heaters for inside..

wiring the switch parallel instead of series will make the switch last longer wouldnt it?
How does this compare with a cistern and an RV pump?

Then engineer figured out the power of a tripod!! Thank you!! JK. Love your videos. Keep them coming!!

What model of flowlight and filter are you using in the video?
where did you buy that 12 volts dc pump, and how much?

Will hard water cause corrosion on the brass fittings and valves, and if so how much reduced lifespan are we talking?
a air pump next model ?
Good stuff, thanks.
Not Criticism. Subject: electical control. Isn't negitive switching better(positive fuse -negitive switching)?

We sell and install them. Go to site in the description.
Stop the tripod, we want shaky videos.

Too much expensive
