Reminds me of the people who would find ACTIVE landmines in old WW1/2 battlefields nearly 100 years after the fact. Everyone laughs at the idea until they’re walking peacefully and all the sudden feel a pinch in their foot and hear the most spine-chilling click you’ll ever hear

Some places in europe have strict rules on where you are allowed to magnet fish for this exact reason. / Are putting rules in place now that this is becoming more and more of a trend.
The risk you could fish up some old WW rockets and similar is too great and there were a lot that never went off and could still be active.
@@Tschu92 Where I live in France, it's normal for farmers to find war memorabilia in the ground. And like you said no magnet fishing is allowed (even though some definitely do it)

Guys just a reminder!!! If you find something like this, never move it around, leave it like u found it. Make photos and go really far away,all calls and discussions make them from safe position. Never let others come to you with phones and cameras to film you while you move this ammo. It can kill you all easily in blink of an eye. Never put others in dangerous position! Your life cost more than cool shots for youtube.

I’m glad somebody else knew what he did was wild. I’m not in the military or know anything about weapons besides the fact that they can kill you. I cringed so much when he kept moving this bomb around, touching it, saying how he’s gonna step away from it but then goes back multiple times to take pictures and to show it off. It just really annoying and anxiety inducing.
If you think it is dangerous, put it down very gently and back away. If it is a gun, the barrel does not get pointed at anything you don’t want to lose. I don’t care what condition it is in. If you break either of these rules, the consequences could be deadly. (I say this because I’ve seen people point guns all over the place, including at friends and themselves. Also, this video.)
That said, this is a cool find.

It's crazy the amount of hazardous materials just lurking in common places. Just because you get rid of something doesn't means it goes away

Every five or six years in the US some fast food place or other small business gets shut down for a day b/c some kid or landscaper found a hand grenade buried around that building somewhere. I'm fairly certain UXO finds are still an annual event in Germany, if not monthly

I am no cop or dispatcher but if there's a chance that there's an explosive wouldn't you want to tell your officers to let them know what they're walking into potentially
It frustrates the Hell out of me, considering that cop in New Mexico who pulled over a wanted person and got executed because nobody told him who he was pulling over.
I was in law enforcement and if a dispatcher did that nonsense to me, I’d be working hard to get them fired and would succeed.

I had no idea this was a thing, and I’m so glad people do this. It breaks my heart whenever I see metal waste in waterways In places that I can’t get too/wouldn’t even know how to move safely.
If you ever find anything that resembles a rocket face the pointed end away from where people would be because it has a high chance of having a shaped charge on it. Shaped charges will shoot a jet of molten copper in the direction the charge is facing. They can go hundreds of feet and still cut through metal depending on how it was designed.

Actually getting a close up is good. If the police wants a picture to send to the EOD-team. It can help them both to identify it as well as telling the police how big area they might have to shut off for the public safety.
Rocket! I know you had a much, much different reaction, but watching your bicycle seat magically become a rocket was priceless. And what is up with the welding rods. Those are not cheap. My guess is the unsecured box fell off of a work truck when the road became a bridge and there was enough of a bump to make them fall. Somebody wasn't happy when they got to their worksite. Peace

Magnet fishing is so much of an asset for the cops if you think about it they have helped salve a case that has a missing gun or way more same with scuba divers both are a great asset

i used to work in a military museum and had a demilitarized superbazooka and rocket id assemble and help kids hold and that looks one for one like a 3.5 inch

Hi Bryce, Great find, good video ,good you were in the country side. Not like myself and friend., when we pulled a 18lb artillery shell out of the canal and closed off 2 roads, 14 houses were evacuated . Bomb squad took the shell away and detonated it in a local park Ray Birmingham UK

6010 rods of I remember right, burn hot and bright for a rod. Used them in school and we nicknamed them hellrods because of the fire they'd kinda spew. Or candlerods since they'd stay lit like a Candlewick after welding.
