That cop is having a blast. Its good to see things like this with cops and the public just shows they are regular people just doing a job
Cop having a good interaction magnet fishing.
They should do it with cops more often might be severely helpful in the future
He is hooked on it now! Watch
You'll drive by 15 cops off duty will be doing it. A few on duty.
Its the idea whats next.
@@bobbg9041 ha hooked good one
@@MsFlyonwall I have a good idea. The local police start a community organization where they take kids magnet fishing as a bridge building type deal. Could you imagine how much fun the police and the kids would have doing that. I would pay good money just to watch all the smiling faces.
Better than sittin' in the car being bored on a quiet day. :)
That was good!!! That policeman was a little kid again. Living an unadulting moment. Priceless. Thank you
That was funny.Thanks guys.
& stop living on the edge Mr.dilliger or Matt Dillon.
That gun has projectiles that maybe dangerous. Not sure how though it's interesting.
Youngins stay safe while you being cool.
Black Beard down in South Carolina...though all that shines not gold.😂😅
Id be very weary of a bottle of water on the side of the road since truckers are known to fill them up with urine and throw them out. You could have just gotten a golden shower.
Here in Calif they go for bigger..Gallons of urine on the side of the road.
I've watched to many of these, and I swear none of these guys ever brought a bucket and a rag... or heck there are water containers you could keep in the rig.
So true, my stepdad is a retired trucker. He has told me some stories of how they do that, lol.
That was my first thought 🤣 nothing like a rancid bath to cool you down
I think they would've noticed if it were piss
That is how you police.
Admittedly "suspicious" activity.
He approached casually, hung around and watched, got involved, and all the while listened and gained information about the situation to be able to confirm it as *innocent fun*.
More cops need to get involved and police this way. Just by being another human who is also equipped and ready to take care of things in the *off* chance it is negative.
To you all, very fun watching your energy.
Cop. That was the best reaction to an offer to try magnet fishing in a long while. Some crazy finds Bryce!
I started watching your channel a couple months ago, and I finally bought a magnet! Today I went out for my first time and didn’t find much, but I did find a $60 Leatherman Juice CS4 pocket knife in great condition! I am so happy to finally be able to go magnet fishing and I owe it all to you! I love your videos man!
Link?
@@TiktoKtruekilla link what?
Bro check with the police cz no one will throw smth that good so check if it was a murder weapon im serious
@@Mojojojo-ppg and what? They’re gonna use the knife I scrubbed and touched for fingerprints or something? Best case scenario I keep my knife and they politely ask me stop wasting their time. Worst case scenario they take it as “possible evidence” even though it’s worthless. Don’t believe all those story’s saying stuff is murder weapons…
@@Mojojojo-ppg
Could've been dropped by accident
That's not a two-man saw that's part of a sickle bar that goes behind a tractor on the 3-point hitch
Yep. Probably from a hay cutter
These Guys have no Idea what a Sickle Mower is I was surprised that they knew what a Log Dog was. They are defiantly (CITY) Boys. But that is OK we can't all be perfect.
That Gun Looks like a North American Arms pocket 22.
@@ghoffmann821 Yes, we had a snakket version of those on the farm I grew up on here in Norway. Ours was much shorter and intended for hand-guided two-wheel machines with a small engine with just two or five horse powers.
I sure can tell ya that Officer was enjoying himself and found a new hobby. It was awesome watching him interact and join in. Stay Safe out there
Totally call a local historian about that suspected cart/cannon wheel. The wheel itself could have markings that give ideas about its identity.
If there is one thing I have learned from magnet fishing it's that Americans are pathetically massive litter bugs. One question what do you do with all the junk? None of it is any good it's just all junk. Just throw it back in? Catch and release magnet fishing. I don't get it. What there are no fish left so own to get your fix your fishing garbage out of the river? What's the attraction?
That old thing with the steel wheel looks like part of a cart that was used in old warehouses, railroad depots to move stuff around.
a sack barrow is what they are called
Yes, I think so as well.
Yes.....the old cart was a fertilizer cart that was used in the warehouses ad feed stores
@@gpa4two yeh for moving sacks around hence its name a sack barrow
(carts were generally pulled barrows pushed)
Yep
It seems like the police are real nice around there y'all are having a lot of fun keep it up
The "two man saw" is actually the knife from a sickle mower blade and the "cannon base" is an old barrel cart. You guys have a great attitude and wonderful imagination! Keep up the good work!
You guys sure were having a lot of fun & that last cop was way cool. Be careful where ever you go & do.
Love that a cop went fishing with you all!
The wooden cart is antique dolly dated over a 100 years old. Did some light research and found that for you. Keep cool and keep magnet fishing guys. Your doing good for the water ways 👍
At 18:30 you found an old railroad depot hand truck use to move box freight from the dock to the railcar .
That’s what it looks like to me. Or cart used at Feed and seed store. Growing up I used to see like that at the feed store
Love how long that that officer hung out with you guys. I bet he went back to the station and ordered a rope and magnet. LOL
The cop was so cool magnet fishing with you guys!
When you're such a nice guy that even the cops wanna magnet fish with you
You could make a museum real happy with that logging suff.
I’m a geologist and I’m 90% sure that that door knob is made out of Carnelian agate.
Your Canon wheel I believe is to a two-wheel cart they used to use on the docks and the warehouses and probably even on some Farms although my grandpa didn't have one like that of course but that's really cool man his old old could be as bad as 1800s
That’s my thought too. We have a depot museum and our luggage cart looks similar.
8:49 that is a knife bar for a grasscutter or combine harvester... the triangles are knifeblades that can be replaced if they break.
Sickle section
@@williambumpas8982yeah
that wasnt a 2 man saw its off a hay cutter! it has another thing the same and they go back and forth cutting the hay as you go forword
I was going to say the same thing
Sickle bar mower is what it's called.
I think it's an old hand dolly like they used in feed stores.
You guys are doing a great thing for the environment. Keep it up 👍
Cop having a good interaction.
I hope you can locate him and tell him to watch himself in action having fun!
Them old door knobs can be worth money to the right people.
That is true. I have all the orginals on my doors and people have offered a lot of money each. No tks, they come with my house. 😂
@@Tiffany-ne9fr They are made of polished porcelain.
Hope you keep the long saw and a few “log dogs” for display they are so much a part of history and very cool
The lad talking about the wheel size implementation logic for old school use is actually pretty damn accurate. Due to terrain (lack of paved roads, etc etc) larger wheels were widely known to be the primary use for farming implements of a size to be powered by either man or animal. Additionally, there are, of course, various sizes to mobile old school cannon set ups; from the small Robinet to the larger Culverin all used wheels that were generally no taller than the average man's kneecap. Robinet's often used wheels barely taller than your ankle. On ships, space is often a concern especially on longer voyages of course, so not all naval cannon implementations were overly massive. Weight and space being considered it was all too common for naval ships to be adorned with these (what we might think of as) small cannons in addition the much larger long range 9 pounders, aka "Long 9s". Additionally, the cannon itself also follows the misconception of size - even cannons built to fire 64 pounders had diameters roughly around 10" at most with the length of them being anywhere between 5 and 9.5 feet.
It's not a cannon cart it's an old industrial hand cart
Let's go Bryce can't wait for this video of magnet fishing Tommorow let's go have blessed weekend always supporting fam 🙏
that's a sickle bar for cutting weed'd ! not a 2 man saw !
For cutting hay
How do you know
@@Arctrix8293 2-man saws are a lot thicker
I agree John that's a sickle bar mower.
@@Arctrix8293 my husband and I farmed and hay was one of our crops. That is how I know.
That was a sickle bar from a old sickle mower
I hate to burst a bubble, but a Realistic CB Radio is a cheap Radio Shack CB Radio and I never met a trucker who would have had one in his rig. Good video. Thanks for sharing.
That was really cool to see that officer just join in with you guys lol
If police did more interactions like this, they'd greatly improve their community profile
😮cannon? 😅 ❤ Blake's gun ❤
They use to chain up massive piles of logs together and float them to mills. Those log barges would occasionally sink on the way to the mill. You may have stumbled on to a location of a log barge that sank.
You know them old Log Dogs are going for like $80 online.
Daaamn, where's this spot at 😂
You got an entire litter of log dogs🤣
That cop is definitely having fun. 🤣😂
7:24
Bro thinks he's playing Minecraft, "Its already been looted!"
"My bucket ran away"
My sister got me a couple of your magnets and I ended up finding a bunch of fishing hooks and lures. Right where the family walks bare foot at the cabin
Unfortunately.. I opened both magents and stuck them together... I had to find a screw driver and it took me two hours
OH.
OW. I FEEL THAT PAIN IN MY FEET.
@@FireFusionYT_0 I think im smart enough to know I'm kinda dumb. I'm not sure what I was thinking
Nice to c u and Danny together again looks like the cop is having fun as well 😊
M
That gun you found is a old Colt Baby Open Top .22 cal Revolver from 1871-1877 only 114,200 of them are know to exist and one in good condition is over $2,000 if yours works still then it might be $2,000 or $1,000 still finding one is a rare find so I’d recommend keeping it for now.
I love how he acknowledged it being loaded and having carelessly waved it around, then proceeding to carelessly wave it around again.
Cop with a good vibe
Glad the cop had fun. That stuff might be able to be cleaned up for a local museum :3
You're reminding me so much of James Woods in The Hatd Way when talking Hot Dogs (frog dogs) So funny 🤣
No better way to start a Saturday than with outdoors weekly!
Looked up cannons civil war and the wheels are huge, they look like the ones you see in everyone’s gardens
The old lock is cool, must be a woman’s gun, so cool. Great COP
It’s a colt pocket model revolver, from the 1870’s. Probably worth a decent bit.
That is not a wheel base of a ship or field cannon. Ship cannons used wooden wheels to reduce weight, field artillery used large wooden spoked wheels with an Iron loop. You found a wheel used for industrial carts used in warehouses and metal fabricating businesses.
I live in Windsor and had no idea they would be there. So cool
COPS Bryce! COPS!😳 Great finds. Where are you guys? Hows Emmie doing? When is the baby due?
Emmie’s pregnant? I didn’t know that I was wondering why I haven’t seen her recently
@@amcollins81 Yeah....someone messaged that she was expecting. I don't remember who it was. I'm excited for Bryce and Emmie both. I hope all is well with them.
Oh………. 10:12
two-man log saw. LOL. That's a cutting bar from a sickle bar mower or a haybine.
THAT was a really cool police officer. We need more police officers like him. Wow, one of the coolest cops ever 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I wonder how many cell phones dude's accidentally erased with that magnet lol.
Much love from North Carolina ❤️❤️❤️ love all your videos ❤️❤️
I just started but this might be my fav RUclipsr
Nice seeing that cop have fun with yall keep having fun
Looked like a fun day. Some good finds. Made it to the end. First time watching. Keep Having Fun! Enjoyed the video.
It’s a grass cutter from a tractor mower!
Yes half of a sickle mower blade.
It looked like it part of the sickle of a combine header
I enjoyed your video. Looks like you have a lot of fun magnet fishing.
00:50
Man's proud of that summer body of his. Good for him.
Decent cop and great finds!
So awesome to see a police man interacting with you magnet fishing
Cool cop! That actually looks really fun. I'd like to try that someday
So cool the cop stopped and fished with you
love this!
I wish all cops were that cool
Props to him
25:39. That looks like leaf springs from a old pickup truck.
You need to take a snorkel set to that area to look! See if any cannons etc
This is like Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe. I didn't think it would be this entertaining to watch.
Your videos are awesome. It was nice to see a police officer magnet fishing with you guys.
That long saw blade is actually a sickle that goes in the head of a hay mower. It lays flat with the ground and reciprocates back-and-forth in the holder cutting hay. It is actually not part of the logging industry.
That door knob someone that's restoring an old home would love to have that
Loved how the police officer joined in! And some nice catches!
That metal wheel could be from a cart used in a post office or warehouse
Looks like you are close to my neck of the woods. I'm from Martin county. No telling what you will find on Bertie county.
I believe the old steel wheel is actually part of a warehouse cart. They usually had a wooden flatbed about 18 inches off of the ground with four steel wheels under them with the front two on a steering axle.
Cool cop!!Stay safe!
I think i need to try this in Australia!
That what u found at 25:44 is a piece of a leaf spring mostly installed in trucks and vans.
A conventional leaf spring on the front axle of a four-axle construction site truck weighs around 67 kilograms, oh and awesome video of yours : )
Love the officer mag fishin' with you! How fun... maybe they'll learn to do this to find weapons and ammunition. 😊❤ That's what happens when you're friendly and have an extra magnet. It's addictively fun, except sore muscles the next day 😅
That was awesome that the detective joined in with you😊
Yes it is a farm cart (Hand Truck) used inside a barn usually for moving bags of feed etc on solid surfaces
17:58 that's from an old cart for warehouses. They'd be mounted with wooden platforms, and you make a train out of several of them to hold pallets
Please tell me you reported the gun you found to police, often guns found in rivers like that are related to old criminal cases and I've seen way to many stories where they end up being important evidence that help solve cases that are years old.
Cool gun! Enjoy y’all’s excitement!
18:00 - industrial wooden carts used these wheels. Started fading from use in the 1960’s. Collectors like the carts now.
Omg lmao when the bottle was run over, i thought the gun miraculously went off 😂😅
the cop was chill
Cool cop.
from what i could see, that "cart" is what my grandpa would call barrel trucks, which were used for moving 55 gallon steel drums
COP, he was diggin' it for sure!
Fishing with a cool cop 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
7:32 "My bucket ran away"
Great cop.
That cop had fun!
