Amazing to see that tire deflection when you have the slow mo on the stairs. It's remarkable what modern tires have to deal with and survive.
John Hovan just deflate to 20/25psi and you will also have this effect with any euc😉

I have to wait for another month to get my s18. Can't wait.
Because of the housing, many people doubt the water & dust resistance. Let me quote ewheels here.
With so much of the structure exposed, will the S18 be less water resistant than other models?
The S18 will hold equivalent IP55 weather-protection. While the inner-structure is open from above, the sensitive elements, such as the battery, controller area & are enclosed in sealed spaces. Also, the mud-guard extends through the body, so any spray/wash, should be kept confined within there.
I dunno yet. But then again you only really know once it stops working and the only wheel ive drowned is the V10F in a ridiculous downpour. It doesnt rain very often in beijing so doing water resistance testing is difficult.

You can actually do this on the msx, you have videos of Kuji and plenty of other people doing it, but, it seems way more comfy on this got to recognise
I ride down stairs all the time on my KingSong 18XL
@@MrCaffeinatedChris in fact mostly any 18 inch weel can, but again not so comfy as this one
@@AfeezKayeRIDES he didn't respond to your question, but I might be one of the only one that would (maybe) buy a v11 instead. I admit the s18 looks awesome.
I feel so bad for Inmotion that seem to have totally lost it to kingsong.. but they do so nice and quality wheels that I kind of trust them that the 11 will be a very nice one. Plus, at a second glance , it does look nice, well finished.
Plus I do love massive, heavy and compact wheels, like the Nikola. I will be served with this 60pounds beast... What are your thoughts about it?

Exactly :-) He could ride down those stairs on the MSX and it would look the same.
Not really. Look at the movements of his feet. There are barely any. It’s the wheels that move, not his body.

I was always surprised these companies did not introduce suspension long time ago. It seems so obvious it's a great and needed feature. I know the industry still in infancy, but suspension is a natural thing for the wheel. Anyway, super super great to see two companies already offering such product.

We are honestly jealous to the bone, not that our wheels are not good enough. No, bit this suspension really changes lots of things.
Saves us from lots of wound, cracks, and bruises.
Also, this is what we need for smooth long journey 😭

yeah, i think the suspension will save a good amount of riders from the injuries that we inevitably get. But its worth it!
When I will be riding this wheel I will be also thinking that theoretically, after hundreds hours of trainings, tens of broken rims and bones, this wheel can allow me the same.

yeh that impressed me as well, and I am pretty sure that you are correct, he effortlessly jumped over the suspended chain. Probably didn't even blink.
Looks like you can preload the suspension to help you jump obstacles kinda like a pogo stick

Hi Kuji superb video as always! You should test that thing here in Roma, Italy where there are a lots of cobblestones streets and of course a crazy traffic! I’m a newbie and just before all this crazy covid-19 stuff i’ve ordered an ks-16s. And as soon i’ll be able to ride decently i’ll switch to this wounderfull thing. Stay safe.

Deuce Allan don’t you think is “too much” for a newbie? Moreover here in italy 16x and the new s18 cost more or less the same price (around 2200 euros) so for now i go with a 16s and later i’ll go with the s18

s18 is super, but not with small 1100wh battery. I would to ask 1) if this wheel have enough space to install bigger battery? 2) if kingsong will offer s18 with battery ~1600wh ?
Most likely no. But you can charge the wheel with an external battery pack while you ride (in your backpack or somethign)
Thank you for the video! What is the height of the steps of the stairs for 45 seconds when moving up the stairs? Is this the only wheel that can go up the stairs?
Loving the visuals, and I'm amazed at how easy it is to lift (even without pads) but I'm concerned with the low tire pressure. How is this gonna hold up with a heavier rider and how will it react with more air in the tire ( which definitely will be necessary). I also realy like how it absorbed the road defects, potholes and manhole covers. Kuji you are a beast on the stairs but I wanna see what its like with an average rider doing stairs on it. I'm still leaning toward the V11 I think. If you keep this up I may end up with both....LOL
I think itll be fine with a heavier rider. You can increase the tire pressure and the pressure in the shocks to adjust to your weight. The average rider... this probably the most suitable for the average rider.
