PS1 was pinnacle gaming. A huge variety of games (including timeless classics), no DLC or patches, no micro transactions, and tons of replay value. I miss the 90s.

@@steelbear2063ah there is better games on PS1 that even change yhe gaming scene in many ways. sorry but gaming this days is about live service shit like wow, lol anything online, microtransactions for progress, dlcs or lootboxes, you need internet to play games and the emphasis too much on esports makes the games boring and shit

@@steelbear2063 this is only good for multiplayer games but during that era most of the games are single player and most of the games that was released on PS1 are totally fix with mild bugs. They are also releasing complete games before with manuals and inserts.
And the best thing about the PS1 and PS2 era is there's no need for you to install/download games.
Right now if you buy a game you need to wait for how many hours and wait for it to finish.

Ayo... You didnt have to put the sound of the PS1 booting up but you did it anyways. You did that for us man! It doesnt matter if I listen to it 5 million times in a row it always sends shivers through my body.
Also, us 90s kids remember those days when a scratched up disk was put into the system. I remember praying to the PS Gods that the game would boot past the second screen. If it didnt you had to try your damndest clean the back of it lol. Alcohol, your breath, wipe it off with a t-shirt/cloth. But if it didnt go past the second screen you were just screwed.
Its because of that it took me until I was about 13 before I finally fully beat RE2 because of my irresponsible cousin. My sister and I told her over and over and over "STOP LEAVING THE GAMES OUT THE CASE" but no matter what she kept leaving them out ON THEIR BACK. For WHATEVER reason her favorite game to leave outside its case, ON ITS BACK, was always Leons disc smh. Because of that Leons disc never booted past the second screen. For years the only side of the disc I could beat was Claire's A side... Not til I finally managed to get my hands on it again about 5 years later, brand new case and discs. Had stopped playing my PS2 and everything JUST so I could finally beat the entirety of Re2 Also, imagine my surprise when i was finally able to find out Mr. X was a thing... Good times.
