There’s one comment I want to make and pin for all of you to see and be reminded of. I am a professional, racecar driver, and I use Sim racing as a form of training for my real racing. I use it for entertainment as well, and have many partners in Sim racing. I’m very lucky to have a lot of this equipment and to use it on a daily basis. By no means, is this video meant to push you into getting gear outside of your budget or to shame you for what you are using. The best gear is the gear that you already have. Have fun with it and hope you enjoy this video for what it’s meant to be. On this channel, my main focus is to always connect real life racing and simulator racing. I am trying to get my rig dialled in as close to the real car as possible. I hope you can appreciate where I’m coming from with this. It’s supposed to be fun and just going through all of my stuff. This isn’t meant to be a flex by any means. If you take it that way, it’s only your own perception.
This. I am not a real life race car driver (I wish) but I probably get as much pleasure by living out my fantasy in my « humble rig » than you do finessing your art throughout the year and during downtime in yours! Why be jealous of others instead of encouraging fun, practice and the next generations of top tier drivers. We all have to start somewhere! ;-)
Great looking setup room and rig. I'm currently doing a room remodel just for my rig TrakRacer TR160 w/quad 32's, it's painful staring at unused racing equipment until it's done.
Thats the great thing about sim racing is you can slowly upgrade towards the top spec stuff with time and patience. I started sim racing on a bean bag and stool with a rubbish Microsoft wheel. Years later and many, many upgrades later I've got an extrusion rig with a Simucube 2 pro, yes the best gear is what you've got right now but there's no harm in having goals of getting the top stuff. I can't afford active pedals right now, doesn't mean I won't ever have them they are on my list next to motion of wants but not essential.
Hello Daniel Morad. You have created a channel with perfect content for those of us who like simracing and gt3 racing. Apart from your tips, you have given me extra motivation in sim racing. Thank you!!
Absolutely unreal setup brother. Thanks for sharing. I’m on my journey to get my own sim setup soon. Got the monitors today. 45 inch LG OLED’s. And now looking into the chassis and overhead monitor mount. Have the wheel and pedals. Can’t wait to have it completed in the next few weeks. Your video is So inspiring. Keep up the great content!! Cheers!
Hey Daniel. Love seeing the new stuff to your rig from your previous rig tour. From your sim rig to stream setup I would ballpark the cost to about $53,600 USD 😁
Mate, i love all the content that you give us. And its always great to see what people use for setups, helps with us to upgrade if we can. So thanks for sharing. Look forward to more great things to come..
I would say the Rig with everything you have installed to it costs 38.784$. Just found your channel today and it's so cool to hear the perspective from a real race driver compared to sim racing. Greetings from Cologne, Germany ❤️
Amazing setup. This channel is growing fast, and I love it. Keep up the great content, and the incredibly helpful tips for racing in general. I am guessing, totally ballpark $69,496 (oddly specific).
Thats for the tour Daniel, I have been loving your videos and the growth of the channel. My guesstimate on this epic rig is $83,490. Keep the great content coming.
Congrats Daniel, looks great! And welcome in the sc2 ultimate team, great to hear that you prefer it over the pro. I am running mine at 21nm without static force reduction, and it’s just great.
@@danielmorad looking forward to see your final settings, especially for prototypes in iracing :) for me 21nm max force feels best, trying to tame it on 32nm is really hard haha i mean its doable, but reducing the torque first for most cars is what i had the most fun with. We dont need 32nm kerb strikes on a gt or prototype usually 😁
@@danielmorad i dont bother with static force reduction as long as its time based, not telemetry controlled, but still curious to see what you will run on static force reduction, and especially static force reduction speed. That option isnt available on the pro, from what i know
Great rig, and great content as usual. When first videos came out on you channel, I thought it will be another ordinary simracing channel, but I'm glad I was wrong;) Thank you for such detailed insight of you rig, setup of rig, and feeling what you looking for when using sims. Now I'm waiting for promised rFactor2 test;)
I'm thinking you use your real life Mercedes GT3 to train for your sim races. Seriously, that is an amazing rig. Congratulations! I don't think you could have a better training tool.
Love the setup, wish I could even have a single part of it (probably the Simucube brake pedal would be my choice!). Love your content and wish I found you sooner. From a fellow Canadian racing fan and GT3 lover, I'm going to be following you much more closely in the future!
Hi Daniel, I noticed your monitors are 1080p. Is that your preferred resolution for sim racing? If so, please explain why. All I can think about is to eliminate input lag as pro gamers mostly go with 1080. Awesome rig btw!
Thanks a lot. I didn’t have any reason to get these other than size, cost and speed of them at the time. I’d probably go with 1440 in the near future just for a slightly sharper image but it’s very good at the moment. I can’t complain about them.
78K. Thank you for these videos. I am researching my first Sim Racing set up and your perspective is exactly what I want to experience. Please keep your unique videos & knowledge coming. It has helped me tremendously in what I will be purchasing in a few months time. The cable management was incredible. GOALS!!!
Keep in mind his setup is not the usual setup. I have spent a stupid amount of money on my rig over 4 years. DOn't think you have to spend what he has to have the best experience. It would be amazing if we could all afford motion (Me excluded lol) and 6k pedals. But that isn't necessary to get a great experience
Congrats on your new gear Daniel, it really looks awesome!! Question on your 4. monitor. Do you keep all information on the 4. monitor, and no overlays on your 3 main ones? You mention a lot you want it to be as close to real, so I could se why you want a "clear view" with no extra boxes and so forth
Hey Daniel, been loving your videos So glad you started doing RUclips Although the sim gear is very nice, i wanted to know if its possible for you to share your settings or possibly make videos for your wheelbase/pedals/motion/graphics settings which best allow us to dial in our rig settings closest to a real car Who better to ask then an irl GT3 driver At the end of the day, no matter how good your hardware is, its impossible to know which settings to use to replicate a real car if you have no real track experience
@@danielmorad why ? You will get a wider FOV and with the agressive 800 radius you will almost get a perfect half circle. I have triple G7s with 1000r it’s awesome but triple 45´´ at 800r must be completely crazy 🥰. And it’s OLED. Perfect viewing angle and infinite contrast.
Epic rig, higher res monitors should help see more detail on the track which may help you with on track brake markers like tyre marks, I went from triple 1440p to single 48” gigabyte oled 120hz and have not looked back, so clear at 4k and so smooth with close to zero latency, worth a look when your upgrading
If you don't mind me asking Daniel, i just went with a setup very similar to yours through ASR. Got the ASR Pro and their stand-alone triple monitor stand. After following the ASR installation videos, i've now come to realize that my monitors are too low and about 2 inches of the center monitor is being blocked by the two main support pillars on each side of the rig. ASR recommended to put the main horizontal bar at 3" from the top. Given my current situation, i cannot get close enough to the front monitor to setup my FOV, so i'm thinking i'm going to have to take everything apart and move them up. Curious what yours is at as i would really only like to mess around with this one more time before i get it right. From the video, it looks like you have your middle monitor about an inch or so above the main rig support. After putting all of this together for what seemed like over 20 hours total (starting from scratch), i can see why people pay others to setup and configure everything. Thanks in advance!
Interesting that you found the new wheelbase that much better since to me I always thought iRacing's outdated force feedback was the limiter. Maybe I need to think about an upgrade. Dunno, feel like my DD1 is pretty great and when I play rfactor2 I see how much more I could be getting if not for the software in terms of feedback vs iRacing.
Great setup! I am currently building my new rig as well! I am on a budget, so I gotta go for trackracer 160 rig with simucube pro 2 and simtrecs gt pro pedals :D Only with 1 super ultra wide monitor tho, due to lack of space. I added up the prices in the currect stage they worth about 55,326 USD $ with all the audio, lights, rig, PCs, cameras and additional accesories at the current stage, which would be converted into around 73,898 CAD $
Amazing video again! Quick question about your rig , I plan to buy the dbox like you but I would know if you feel something about traction loss , I know there is no system on dbox to simulate that but do you feel something like vibration when you begin to loose the rear ? And do you feel engine vibrations ? Thx
Hey, awesome setup, do you think you will go with 1440p on your next screens. Do you find 1080p fine from a picture quality standpoint? Keep up the good work.
Q: is that a 105, 75, or 55 simcore spacer between your Simucube ultimate and steering wheel? if not what size? lastly, why do you use a spacer vs just moving the posts closer to you which holds the base? Q2: Will you please do a video of your Dbox settings?
Very cool rig, your videos are very informative, really great to learn such information from a real racer. I have a question, what is your angle to the monitors?
Perfect set up morad! I went to my first race last week at road america for the fanatec gt challenge, that amg sounds amazing. is there something you would like to upgrade in this setup like the motion platform because i have seen a lot more expensive ones or are they a bit too much
Hey Daniel, I had a question about your PC build. So I'm currently building a sim rig for myself exactly how you have yours setup and my first thing I'm doing is upgrading my current pre-built computer to building one for myself with the parts you listed. I was looking at the case you listed and looking at 11:30 in the video, you can see four fans at the back right of the case, I was wondering if you had to purchase those separately from the case?
My previous comment was removed because I opened a new RUclips channel @xsim-racerx. Why did you have to pull out of the GTWC at Sebring? My daughter and I were hoping to meet you there. Thanks for the content, your FOV video really simplified things for me and now my FOV is spot on. My guess on the rig is $54,889 USD. Next time you are at Sebring we will be sure to stop by and meet you.
Hey Daniel love the video, just had a quick question for ya. Just was wondering your thought on both the SimCube and VRS Direct Drive bases. Just looking for that next step up since I'm rocking the CSL DD right now and looking to open to a bigger and stronger system. Mostly running GT3, LMP, and F1 racing if that helps too and been league racing for little over 5 years now.
@danielmorad Sounds very promising 👌 Unfortunately I couldn't get my hands on the same 42" I already have... After seeing your videos, I am leaning towards triple 32" now. Guess I have to wait and see your next big upgrade 😉 Cheers!
Hi, I recognize that your Car don't move/roll/pitch on your Monitors, special well seen at left Monitor with the car mirror. How this can be setup in iRacing? Timestamp 3:34 to 4:15
I’m going to say $68,500! What do you think of the SC2 Pro vs the Ultimate? Worth the additional cost for a general consumer or were you still completely happy with the SC2 Pro?
Howdy Daniel, New fan and fellow Canuck! If i were to guess price, ~$45k CAD? You should try Automobilista 2 sometime! I find its a decent middle ground between ACC and iRacing and doesnt quite get as much love as it should. Doubt it'll do for training but may be a fun time!
You like the finer things in life. I'm going to say you probably have 22k invested in your setup cameras included. I dont have the pedals or the cameras and such and I've spent a total of 15k. Also dont have the motion. Fantastic video as usual and I have a pair of your gloves on the way!
Thank you so much. There’s definitely a big investment on the audio and video. I’m excited for you to try out the gloves. You have to let us know how they are.
@@danielmorad Not sure if you will still see this. But I got my gloves this morning and I have been using them all day. They are AMAZING! Thank you Daniel for making gloves for sim racing (or karting) they are again AMAZING
this is the setup I hope to have someday, except for oval racing primarily. I still think its sooo cool that we can use a sim to practice for irl stuff. I'm guessing the setup is about 110K, definitely not cheap
Hey Dan!, caught a live stream yesterday and must say love the rig! I'd guess in terms of cost it would be around the $50853 mark Aus Dollar. "sorry I'm aussie so convert it to your dollar"
@@danielmorad Once you use it, the rig feels dead without it :-). Mines DIY, but commercially "Tension R' works with SRS, 'G Belt' and G seat from Sim Experience, 'SYMDECK' also have a active harness and G seat.
90.000 USD with everthing incl. cameras, stands, lighting, cables, deco, and the manpower service costs for the guys who install/commissioning. Possibly being paid by the sponsoring suppliers (or your one stop shop) so not totally clear of how to put such costs into equation. I just like the fact that you don‘t care about to be a perfectinionist and eliteist. Can‘t wait to see when you start to get the distinctive itch for the best possible tactile/vibration sensation (close to reality) beyond what dbox and/or shaker suppliers can offer… it‘s out there already, but not available yet from the typical commercial suppliers or in a productised form or package. … If you hear out around a bit among the tactile enthusiasts (mainly in Germany/Austria started discord forums) you may find astonishing next level stuff ;-)

Hi Dan, loving your work, and your gloves. I won't use anything else nowadays. Anyway, i'm gonna have a guess at $42,500. Keep up the great content.
Thanks so much
Since your first rig tour said $60k and now you did slight upgrades, I'm going with $70k
Haha very good assessment. Using the other video as a reference. Smart 😛
Beautiful set up, Daniel ! I would say it’s total value is $ 75,000.
Thanks a lot
Nice Rig Daniel. Looking really good. I'll say 64K$ for the price contest!
Thanks a lot
My guess is $74,123. Amazing set up everything is perfect!
Hi, I recognize that your Car don't move/roll/pitch on your Monitors, special well seen at left Monitor with the car mirror. How this can be setup in iRacing? Timestamp 3:34 to 4:15
Turn off neck motion.
Options and then under “Drive” at the bottom.
Thank You
I’m going to say $68,500! What do you think of the SC2 Pro vs the Ultimate? Worth the additional cost for a general consumer or were you still completely happy with the SC2 Pro?
The ultimate has quite a noticeable amount more texture in the base. it just feels thicker somehow
So there’s some merit behind Simucube Ultimate Save! Thanks, Daniel!
55000 is my guess. Great video again Daniel
Thanks 👍
Howdy Daniel,
New fan and fellow Canuck! If i were to guess price, ~$45k CAD?
You should try Automobilista 2 sometime! I find its a decent middle ground between ACC and iRacing and doesnt quite get as much love as it should. Doubt it'll do for training but may be a fun time!
Thanks so much. I definitely have to try it out.
Mouth-watering set-up. If money was plentiful, I would probably end up with something very similar. Wild guess about the cost: 42042 $.
I know this video is over 9 months old and I hope you still read the old comments but do you train with a helmet on?
really well edited and tour video!!
Thank you so much!!
Thanks for the tour Daniel. It is an epic setup that not only performs but looks the part! Great work. My guess is $39,715.
Thanks so much
You like the finer things in life.
The gloves are the FIRST pair of gloves I have owned that actually fit my unusually shaped hands. I'm not just pumping sunshine these gloves are excellent and I cant recommend them enough ! Thank you Daniel for making gloves for sim racing (or karting) they are again AMAZING
Thought my 5k rig was massive overstretch but this is insane stuff 😁Gratz man.👍
Awesome setup, i want one like that some day! I'm guessing it was around $72,999
Just add things piece by piece :)
Did you think to add tracktion losses pluse from NLR?
Crazy stuff. Excluding the streaming equipment and computer, and with only one button box, I got it to $23,973 plus the computer. 💰💳💸
Love it ! Great set up. just inspires me to keep building mine. Including all racing gear and streaming gear I would guess atleast $39 500 CAD
You can do it!
40k. That setup is sick!!
thanks so much man!
hey ! is the seat slider from ASR ? do you like it ?
this is the setup I hope to have someday, except for oval racing primarily. I still think its sooo cool that we can use a sim to practice for irl stuff. I'm guessing the setup is about 110K, definitely not cheap
man thats a great system hands down wish i could afford that thats about 40k set up still nice i love it
Thanks a lot. It’s amazing to drive. Happy to have this stuff.
@@danielmorad im just starting out so i cant wait to see how far i go
Who won the contest? And what was the amount? I’m curious
Hey Dan!, caught a live stream yesterday and must say love the rig!
I'd guess in terms of cost it would be around the $50853 mark Aus Dollar. "sorry I'm aussie so convert it to your dollar"
Have you tried having the wheel not connected to the motion rig?
That would be super weird. You don’t want your seating position to move from your wheel. That’s just wrong lol
Love it, I just enjoy watching ideal rigs like this. My guess is 71,249.99 CAD
Thank you so much
Epic setup Daniel, I would probably guess this system is around 45K, keep up the great work.
Add extra 20k at least
This is what you call crazy bling high-end! My guess is 59,501CAD, including shipping prices...
New rig, who dis? :D, great video Dan!
Forgot to guess, $52,850 :D
New rig, new me
Awesome!
Thanks!
Beautiful setup! I also like using a sway G seat and active harness for constant cornering and braking forces that motion rigs cannot replicate.
I wonder if that would be cool. I have to look into it.
@@danielmorad Once you use it, the rig feels dead without it :-). Mines DIY, but commercially "Tension R' works with SRS, 'G Belt' and G seat from Sim Experience, 'SYMDECK' also have a active harness and G seat.
Awesome setup! My guess for the price for everything is: $42,500 CAD
My guess is $34,500. The whole vibe in that room is amazing!
Thanks so much!
Great setup! - everything is roughly $46644.37 CAD or $34,303.64 USD pre tax
Thanks a lot
Daniel wat angle are your screens set at ??
7:10 promises to fix it at the end of the video, yet never does
I did.... it just cut haha
still no link to motion on chasis
Really high quality video! I’m guess $76,508 CAD!
Hi dan what is you fov and distanve and monitor angle
the rig is straight 🔥
thanks so much dude!
how did you attach the Stream Deck XL to your ASR rig?
$ 72,700 my guess. I like your vids, so many informations. Keep it up.
What bezel hider do you use ?
They’re Asus bezel free kit
Hi Daniel. Which sim can you recommend for being the closest to true life racing and why?
iRacing because it has the best braking model. I have some videos on the channel explaining it :)
I think its about 35K.
I love the white rig with flat sides looks amazing.
I'd say all combined about 19K$.
PS : I love the Top camera shot !
Crazy setup🔥, i‘d guess around $58,550 USD.
My guess is $34 861, Love your videos man keep it up
Amazing stuff. If I win the lottery I will by exactly the same setup. Dreaming is free 😅. My guess it cost around 65k
You definitely dove deep into this. I will definitely have a look.
