Greetings from London England not wearing flip flops sunshine your letting your country men down . Great video and loved the hydraulic lifter for the roof and big shout out for installation of a isolator .
@@paulbrown1079 flip flops haha you definitely are from England. They’re called thongs mate. Cheers mate, that lifter was a good investment. Definitely comes in handy!
All Mitsubishi Electric minisplit indoor units open that way, old and new. Newer ones have detachable corner pieces, which makes it much easier to open
@@MentalLapse09 I haven’t but to be fair, I do my own Daikin warranty so i just do what I want and it’s no questions asked. If I got someone else to do it, maybe they would question it. I have heard that using 3 core and earth cable isn’t ideal so I should probably change cables but I’ve never heard of anyone actually running unit Daikin warranty problems. It wouldn’t surprise me though.

I keep an offcut of solder in the toolbag bent into a little hook for unclipping the bottom of those indoor units 🤙🏻
I use two tie-wraps.
@@jimmyteesahn thanks for the tip mate. I’ll be doing the same haha.

@@moisander8858 ah okay. If the sides detach, that’d be easier!
@@maracservices Yeah, on older ones if they are not going to be re-installed, i just hammer or cut the corners so i can get my fingers under
A nice neat job Mitchel, as always, i did miss Tom operating that lifting hoist 😉 😉 👍
I use a cable tie to unclip, slide the "head" of the tie behind the unit and pull
@@craigladewig3158 that’s a good idea mate
Winter in Oz and a clear blue sky, you wearing shades, shorts and a t-shirt, meanwhile in Ireland its 11c , raining and miserable and its the summer😢
@@stephenlawlor3973 haha ireland sounds like a real hoot 😂 I’d be there to if my grandparents weren’t convicts lol
Hey mitch. Not a big daikin man, but I've heard warranties being knocked back by their agents for using the blue interconnects. You hear of this?

Nice job, what gas do you use for the lifter (CO2 or is that nitrogen)? Cheers
