जी । ye chemical reaction hai resin aur hardner ke beech aur isme VOC निकलते हैं जो हानिकारक होते हैं। Ab water based Epoxy bhi aati hain jinme VOC bahut bahut kam hote hain. Epoxy use karte waqt khoob ventilation hoNa chahiye. Cure hone ke bad problem lagbhag nahi rahti yaani 7-15 days mei aisa maana jata hai ki safe hai. Thank you. - Team OTF
For your case, you can explore using Sealers which penetrate in the pores and make the cement terrazzo more resistance to stains. Epoxy ka single coat sufficient nahi Hota. Usmei multiple coat karke hee durability milegi aapko. Agar aapka objective terrazzo floor ko protect karna, stain resistant banana Hai to Impregating Sealers se kaam honjayega. These Sealers are uses for natural stone sealing also. Thank you. - Team OTF
रेज़िन (resin) और हार्डनर (hardner) में कुछ कंपनी अपना फ़ार्मूला भी बनाती हैं जिसकी वज़ह से उन दोनो में कितना अनुपात रहना चाहिए, वो अलग हो सकता है। इसको अपनी तरफ़ से सुखाना नही है गर्म करके। फिर भी, गर्मी के मौसम की अपेक्षा ये ठंडी में cure यानि पूरा रिएक्शन होकर हार्ड होने में थोड़ा ज़्यादा समय लेता है। सलाह ये है कि इसमें बिना जानकारी के अपनी तरफ़ से अगर कुछ करना भी है तो सीधा काम शुरू न करके पहले थोड़ी सी मात्रा में एक्सपेरिमेंट कर लें वर्ना नुकसान हो सकता है। धन्यवाद। - टीम OTF
While installing, it may release more VOC till it cures so area should be well ventillated. Then there are epoxies which are very low VOCs. Once it is cured and area is ventilated, it is considered safe. - Team OTF
For flooring, you can consider Porcelain (vitrified) tiles. However, within vitrified tiles you have two major categories - GVT and Unglazed Vitrified. Both come in polished (Glossy) as well as matte finish. For entrance , passages, etc DO NOT go for polished GVT as its scartch resistance is low. Pl tune into all Podcasts in Tile play list to get a fair idea. Upcoming podcasts include right tiles for bedroom, exteriors and terrace too.
