Hello Vyas ji, Your videos have been very helpful! Thank you! Need a suggestion. Could triple washed plaster sand (m sand) be also used in preparing cement sand mortar for tiles?
Manufactured sand (M sand) can replace river sand in cement concrete and mortar. However, for tile installations, particularly for porcelain / vitrified tiles, appropriate tile adhesive is recommended as cement does NOT work with non-porous body tiles; adhesion is very poor and it also doesnt allow tiles to adjust the stresses accumulated due to temperature variation and other factors. Thanks for engaging with the channel. - Team OTF
Hi sir, like you explained for CG, there are additives i.e harder which is used to improve its features.. is this necessary to use this harder? or just the powder form is good enough? or if i am supposed to use this harder, should this be used in the full house? (living/bedroom) or just in the bathroom/balcony/kitchen where presence of water is more?
To improvise Cementitious Grout performance, few brands give Admixures ( mostly in liquid form) to mix with grout. This adds Polymer content in the mix which Improves adhesion, deformability, and also makes grout more water proof and stain proof. Thank you. - Team OTF
Sir, thank you for your informative videos. Can you please advice on how much labour charges are involved for epoxy grouting of floor tiles? How can we assess if we are being charged too much?
It is a local affair. In Mumbai, skilled agencies charge different rates which also depends on size of tiles. Smaller the tiles, more is the work. People even charge up to 15 rupees per square.ft.! - Team OTF

There are more than 500 factories in the unorganised sector of Morvi, Gujrat alone...the mentioned name might be from there like 100s of others. It is not feasible to give an honest verdict as even though the manufacturer might have been supplying tiles to 100s of customers, the quality lies in consistency which can not be predicted or assumed in this case. You may pl ask the dealer who is suggesting you this material and take a commitment that if anything goes wrong, material must be replaced immediately. Well, is there a huge price difference between this and reputed brands? If not, you may reconsider or move ahead. Thank you. -Team OTF
Sir please help regarding the same 🙏 if I am buying tiles adhesive of Ardex Endura should I consider Epoxy from same brand or Roff Starlike because in your video NO Epoxy you said that Epoxy should be flexible and Roff Starlike states the same in their TDS or Should I consider Ardex Endura epoxy only your expert opinion required 🙏 2.There are many variants in Ardex Endura Tiles adhesive like Silver Gold Diamond which should i consider for 2*4 vitrified tiles wall and 2*2 floor 3.Sir whether 3mm spacer will be good for both floor and wall in bathroom 4. Sir please suggest best brand in SBR latex for multipurpose your expert opinion required I would be very grateful to you if you can help 🙏🙏🙏
All the reputed brands we discussed, are believed to make good products . You may take from the same brand. The grout you named, is a 2 component system which will give little matte appearance. If you need smoother, you may consider 3 component grout also. Regarding adhesive, all brands do specify appropriate variants for specific application. For wall application 2'x4' large porcelain tiles, consider higher quality than silver star... Gold variant has more adhesion and flexibility. Pl follow the brand's instructions however as their guarantee applies when you follow their instructions. 3 mm grout would be good for both. You may go for 2mm also if it is for interiors. For flooring, leave some gaps in the periphery of room. Remaining points will be taken up in upcoming podcasts as the channel progresses. Happy Tiling. - Team OTF

Sir outdoor side tiles where water, sunny and whiter etc he , which grouting is better
You can use sanded grout with polymer admixture...quite economic and good for outdoor flooring.
You may also explore PU grout.
