For a new building, would it be recommended to screed over the concrete slab, cure it and then apply tiles using tile adhesives? Btw this video had pretty good info. greatly appreciated!
This should be the standard practice as the casted slab is generally not appropriate in terms of planarity, desired slope (if required) and free from irregularities. Self levelling screed can resolve it. Tiles should not be installed over freshly done screed / concrete surface; 4 week's time is often allowed to cure. I would advise you that rather than going for any standard product (don't listen to any one), contact one of the reputed and expert brands like Ardex or Latecrete, for example and speak to their technical team...they will visit and assess the use case and will give you right solution including undertaking... The use case needs detailed analysis and it would be wrong on my part to give recommendation without doing that necessary part. Practically the installation system used should have - high adhesion to the chosen type, size and thickness of tile and high flexibility to sustain the movements. But remember, tiles are installed on the substrate, in this case, a wall, and integrity of of wall is equally critical.
Sir, You have so nicely educated us on tile adhesive. But we still don't know which brand we should buy for better strength and long lasting fixing. Please enlighten us as I need to go in for my new house. Regards.
See, it is like a premixed mixture where one has to add only potable water that too not in excess but exactly what is given in instructions. It already has cement. If Cement alone was good for all tiles, there was no need for tile adhesive, right? Adding cement only disturbs the whole balance and not good. Due to lack of training and information these gentlemen might be thinking that Tile Adhesive is like a milk Wali Chai and they can add more Chai ki Patti to make it stronger. No it's not like that. It depends on multiple other factors also like- -Tile / Stine ka size - thickness - condition of substrate. - correct method There are installations which have used granite slabs up to 30-50 feet height also. @@MrPrafulyadav Well, since we want the entire stone slab to bond uniformly, the nature of natural stone is different. They do not have UNIFORM porosity. In India largely these are fixed on floor with cement mortar but then credit goes to Gravity... it keeps thr heavy stones grounded. Ceramic tile body (non porcelain) have uniform porosity. You can do a water absorption test to see the difference. Put little water on these stones and then on back side of the mentioned tiles to realise this. Thanks for engaging with us. - Team OTF

I can suggest you one thing... do not use tiles on roofs. After few or more years tiles will soak water to the main roof. There are few other ways you can protect your roof but do not use tiles.
Go for reputed brands like Ardex, Latecrete, Mapai, Weber and choose appropriate version; each of these brands give different product suitable for floor or wall (vertical) application of tiles you mentioned. Shukriya . -Team OTF

Water proofing of tiles surface ensures that it's integrity remains intact. However, all joints have to be filled with good grout. There must be a good slope in the floor for draining of water. A good polymer modified cementitious grout does it's job well. For Bathroom Epoxy Grouts is also an excellent choice. Thank you. - Team OTF

I think you can use any renowned brand which is more budget friendly but just check the CORRECT classification of Tile Adhesive as it's mentioned in this video. Just because most of the companies don't even mention this in their products info and packaging. I have faced a lot of issues and finally after knowing the correct classification from @dineshvyasOTF , Now it's much easier to ask just a few technical questions and it's so easy to decide now.

How to fix Tiles indoor, with sand and cement or with adhesive? please suggest. Normal practice is sand and cement but curing is main problem.
If you are using Porcelain vitrified tile, cement is not recommended.

C2TS1 or C2TS2 would be good. It.can also have additional properties (most brands make such combinations) like T and E.

Please tell difference between Grey and white
Both are same but white variant is basically used for white marble or ceramic tiles which absorb water because grey colour adhesive if used the colour will appear on the top because of white colour of marble or ceramic tile which aborbs water

Is tile adhesive good for bathroom flooring when all adhesives are not water proof?
Water proofing of tiles surface ensures that it's integrity remains intact.
However, all joints have to be filled with good grout. There must be a good slope in the floor for draining of water.
A good polymer modified cementitious grout does it's job well. For Bathroom Epoxy Grouts is also an excellent choice.

Leticrate 335 is a bit out of budget, so can we use 315 on front elevation (ground floor) on boundary wall for granite and tiles
Since no manufacturers disclose their formulation, and it also depends on size and weight of tiles, height, climate, it is difficult to give definite answer. Latecrete is a good brand and you can call up their technical cell to be sure.

I think you can use any renowned brand which is more budget friendly but just check the CORRECT classification of Tile Adhesive as it's mentioned in this video. Just because most of the companies don't even mention this in their products info and packaging.
I have faced a lot of issues and finally after knowing the correct classification from @dineshvyasOTF , Now it's much easier to ask just a few technical questions and it's so easy to decide now.

Exterior wall 2x4 vitrified tile hai west face evening from 4pm onwards sun falls directly on wall which tile adhesive shall i use ?? Plz give me atleast 2 brand incase 1st one not available 😊

On Terrace I'm using 2x4 & 2x2 vitrified tiles Terrace comes directly into Contact with rain,sun etc which tile adhesive shall i use ?? Also should i keep space of 3mm ? & which tile grout shall i use to fill the gap ??
Use ceramic tiles because tiles expand on roof due to wheather conditions .
