I also have a 97-98 ES and after buying some auto parts store ball joints and the nightmare they were it's well worth it to spend the small premium on oem Toyota parts. You can actually get a discount from Toyota of warm springs by mentioning club lexus I believe.

Some on Amazon are total garbage. Some are as good as oem. I've experienced both. Read real reviews.
