This can be made stronger by modding flat toxin and applying electric
This means you force proc electric but it mixes with your toxin so you can spread corrosive still while not worrying about status weighting.
More electric for the DoT, still get corrosive for stripping

@Aznvasions thank you. It feels good hearing that from someone as thorough and knowledgeable as yourself. Now imagine 2 more things:
Lower rank augment for lower weighting or dual ichor with this. Built in toxin so you need no elemental mods, or lower weighting on the status so you can just rely off the forced procs, both levels of augment have their uses ofc, but a lower level one is better in a lot of normal situations/non-dedicated builds.
They really weren't thinking with the forced procs AND elemental effects (maybe edit the pinned comment/pin this one so people can see this way of building).
When i do this, i saw a lot of zero initial damage electric proc spread but then the next tick does normal damage. Don't know if its a visual bug or smth else
This works true for Xoris as well. People just slap on electric elements on Xoris when the better option is just slapping on virulent scourge so you can still proc Influence while still spreading corrosive and electric on heavy attacks.

With 250% duration, cold procs inflicted by Lavos last 15 seconds and radiation procs last 30 seconds. So while his 4th ability might not deal as much damage with negative strength, you can still use it to crowd control in a 25m base radius, which also goes through walls.
In case anyone is curious:
No, if you use electricity as the infusion, this forced electric proc does not trigger Melee Influence with Dual Ichors.
Buuut it is funny to see enemies with +100 electricity procs after 1-2s in the ichor puddles.
(Ichor Build: P-Pressure, P-Reach, Quickening, Weeping, Virulent, Vicious, Shocking, Voltacic; infuse electricity for fun, corrosive + 2 green shards for damage.)
I think you are doing something wrong then? I was getting the procs of melee influence off of it myself as well as corrosive. No need for any status mods, just get electric from augment and I would profit.
@@CollateralKaosJust from the Ichor clouds and no kills, no melee hits, no pets? If so, I will need to do more testing then.
DE changed it so that Melee influence isn't triggered from the ichor's clouds
It should in theory work as Volt's shock augment does work with melee influence
@@Dullerrope31 it doesn't as it also force procs. Volts augment gives you elemental same as this but it doesn't force an electric proc at the same time, so you can get both corrosive and still proc melee influence with lavo's augment while volts can't.
I've finally come back to this game after like 6 years. Wasnt able to merge my account so im restarting from scratch, seeing all the end game stuff has my head in a bucket. Love how this game has changed since 2013.

Hi, I love your videos, it’s good to have a content creator who understands the game mechanics so well. I just wanted to point out that this actually does force status procs on certain AOE attacks, like the explosion from Exodia Contagion and the explosions from the Hate Incarnon’s spectral blades
Hate incarnon could be pretty good, Contagion is likely regulated to meme territory though as its mainly for 1 shots, not really fast enough for much else. Going to take a look at more AoE effects based off this though...
@@CollateralKaosThe thing with exodia contagion is you can turn it into a full-fledged 20 meter radius nuke by using melee influence paired with this augment. Infusing just electricity will guarantee uptime on the MI buff and ensure everything in the initial EC explosion gets hit with an elemental proc to spread.
Hate was already a great melee influence weapon because of the insane radiation CC it provides, and now this augment comes in and pushes it even further

They need to add some sort of enemy lvl increase to the start of all missions because the power creep is becoming insane.

Man, the placeholder text for these Augments was had me so confused on what they did. The new text for Valence Formation makes it how I wanted. The original sounded like it was Ability damage boost and the matching status on weapons. This way is much more interesting.
Isn't this insane for a Catalyze Nuke build with Heat Inherit? Giving my epitaph another 200% heat makes it go to 425% heat damage instead of just 225 (with Primed Heated Charge and Scorch) right? Or does the 200% from Valence Formation not count towards modded heat and so not scale heat inherit?
Would Acid shells work with this new augment? Or would our damage be entirely reliant on stripping one enemy before room blows up?
little upgrade: with mecha mods u can create your own armor from base kills and u get after kill the 2nd corro wave. just use exilus enemyradar and u get it free on auraslot. ->> armor out, mech aussalt in --> aura switch to exilus, aura free for mecha mod
add in Thermal Sunder with the augment to get +heat damage too
The only downside I've seen so far with it might be a bug, but the alt-fire glaives on Cedo no longer proc any statuses except the one yoy infuse with his passive, if it is active. If you infuse radiation, the glaives only proc radiation and lose the other five elements they normally trigger.

If the Valence Formation give forced status procs why not pair it with the Gotva Prime? You would not have to mod for status and get high critical chance.

Edit, i just tried it with Rage+Frenzy instead, and I say we have a worthy contender to Speedva.
Idk if it is bugged or an official change, I also haven’t tried it with Combustion Beam but Acid Shells and Melee influence aren’t Taxi-ing toxic Lash from Saryn anymore when I tried it in Simulacrum
i just tested both, they both taxi and transfer toxic lash and xata's whisper. so must have been either a general bug or a sim specific bug
@@TierdDoktor6391 as of the second hotfix today which said something about fixing a Toxic Lash multishot bug seems to have fixed this issue but thank you for letting me know anyways :)

I feel like the % will be nerfed. Though not sure. I do love Lavos. So getting another build for him is absolutely amazing. Hope they leave it be. Thanks for the video.

Tho i assume that chroma with a pt build will still be faster, at least its possible to completely ignore the fight requirements.

Does vastilok out perform redeemer prime in this situation? I noticed vastilok has a higher slash weight.
Vastilok wins when its status damage. Redeemer wins for raw damage setups. Do note that corrosive will massively dilute the slash weight though, and that Valence formation is fixed to give 200% elemental bonus no matter your strength.
Finally lavos is op he always been good but no OP now he is incredibly more strong than before
does this make your weapons trigger any of the archon mods secondary effects? since its kinda ability damage
unfortunately not as its status applied by the gun, not the ability. Same way toxic lash can't proc continuity since it makes the weapon apply it but exalted do since they ARE an ability in and of themselves. Would be cool but not useful for most of them anyway since most of the secondary effects or mod's main effects are useless for lavos regardless

Does this mean Lavos + Profit taker meta?
You can only have one buff up at once. It can work, but will be super annoying swapping to cover any other missing element. A complete loadout will function similar to meta, since you should have full coverage and Lavos will cover any of the 1 or 2 missing elements, but for incomplete loadouts, it’s only going to be slightly better than just cycling the shield after 5 seconds, because Lavos does not have access to the type of buff multipliers that Chroma/Volt/Saryn have in the meta space.

No aoe except beam weapons that chain... torrid, kuva nukor, tenet cycron are insanity with this augment, beam weapon firerate plus spread, everything deleted in range with the free corrosive from augment
why did they have to add something that makes lavos way less annoying to play and then add dante, who looks amazing?!? now i have to decide between them x.x

Because Lavos actually outdamages Saryn now due to this augment. But also because, not everyone wants to play Saryn.

i tested a buncha melee with influence and all of them work even vitrica aim glide slam combo shit shreds enemys
and dual ichor is fucking riduculis
slams like exec prob could force proc corrosive and then influence and just profit
also yeah none inate aoe cant proc it at all
until u can set his element as a toggle it's a no go
shouldn't have to specify corrosive or viral or gas every single ability cast
it's slow and lame
should be able to set the element and it applies to all ability casts until i change it
example: set corrosive... cast 12 abilities, ok now i want viral, set viral, cast 50 abilities
right now it's set element, cast once, set element, cast once, set element....
it's the main reason i don't use lavos
It’s a weapon platform build because you’re intended to use weapons not abilities, there no reason to be casting 50 abilities with this build
at the very least you'll be casting every minute... also if you're not using abilities wtf r u doing anyway

The way the augment is worded, I expect a 'fix' so that only the ability status type is applied on cast, instead of combined elements
Works exactly as worded since lavos abilities are based on your chosen elements
sort of agreed with previous responder, mainly because this is an augment for his passive which is the elemental mixer, not the status applied by the abilities as those are just innate. Wouldn't make much sense, but eother way if thats all they do its still gonna be broken, just about as much as it is now simply due too how much you can do with forced procs that also come with an element that mixes
