From my testing it seems to be a final +50% As I got noctua to 50 and tested in the simulacrum, and 100/100 shots procced status on the base shot which is what I took to 50%, as its alt fire has a decent crit and status chance base so couldnt get to just 50, and also wouldn't facilitate multiple test shots to verify

Several other things not mentioned about the 4 1.Birds damage charges Noctua's alt-fire 2.Birds have an insane aggro meaning if possible enemies will always fire at the birds making them a very good survival tool 3.if the summoned book (somehow) gets a kill it will actually do the scan and the summoned book is actually effected by dante's +50% status chance to fully scanned enemies 4.all allies in range will also be given a book when you summon one meaning you can give everyone a free primer if its built to do so and also makes it VERY easy for you to always be assisting for Triumphs buff 5.summoned book targets the enemy last struck by its warded player, firing up to 9 times.
Summoned noctua doesn't actually need to get the killing shot to scan, it will scan any enemy that it has dealt damage to. So for generic starchart missions using the exalted weapon is pretty much a must for scanning, but against tougher enemies the summon will suffice.

One thing to mention, using dark, dark, give your status procs a damage multiplier. That’s why when you combine it with the birds, it’s scaling so high. The damage multiplayer scales on strength
Its pretty bad on low steel path sadly because you going to kill anything far too fast but its value rise as you get lvl 9999 enemies its his own version of expedite suffering helminth ability
It works quite well for dps increase. The only thing is it’s single target, it takes a few seconds until the birds target another enemy. Really good for Acolytes and demolysts, does not really do much for crowds.
It’s not that it isn’t one shotting, it’s that it can’t tag everything at once. So its main benefit is targeting priority enemies, or tagging anything tankier that managed to survive the initial onslaught. In other words, it does its job, but it won’t help you kill hoards if your build isn’t good to start with.
Your videos are always peak, helped me decide which playstyle I'll want for my dante. Noctua it is, I've been wanting a book build ever since that other book disappointed me so hard lol.
So much of Dante has changed, and has been figured out through patch notes from devs, this video might as well be labeled as patched. Especially for Tragedy. The LoS added to it changes things slightly, and Word Warden had Condition overload effects before the patches, and is being returned in a future update. Not to mention Pageflight should be used anyways on all builds as other targets to get enemy attention making your over guard hopefully last a bit longer. Good builds, but I went with a hybrid that allows use of nearly all of these (minus priming from book for weapon DPS, but still isn't terrible without that setup) and isn't too bad. I just haven't tried taking it into endurance, or haven't for that long, or seen my Dante pop up in Circuit to fully test it. You'll definitely have to make a follow-up video after his tweaks again, since more will be changing again. Along with LoS fixes potentially across the board for ALL frames just because of the outcry of the knee jerk reaction/nerf DE did to him, while adding their HORRIBLE first iteration of LoS on him before being hotfixed not even a day later.
PSA: Archon Continuity works in conjunction with your book buddy, even if Noctua is subsumed over with say... Nourish? Breach Surge? Pillage maybe? Dealer's choice, just make sure to have Toxin modded onto Nocuta.
Every time I heard someone say his Noctua doesn't do damage, I thought they were crazy. There was no way they were building it right. That, or they all been brainrot'd by incarnon weapons
About pageflight, the status vulnerablity seems to be working in a normal way from what i see in this video 90% vulnerability reduces their (let's call it) status defense to 10% which is a 10th of the original value of %100 since their defense is divided by 10 your dmg being multiplied by 10 seems pretty normal
You can exceed 100 as a stat line though, so that wouldn’t really add up. Rather, after even more testing, the suggestion is that the value is squared, because it both affects number of status, and damage dealt by status. So that 100% vulnerability means 2x status, and 2x damage per status, so 4x damage. I have roughly 150% vulnerability on most of my builds, which would be 2.5^2 or 6.25x damage, which is within the realm of somewhat similar damage.
Hey, Azn, you might wanna take a look at the Ruvox and its 5th evolution "Vulnerability Serum" if you aren't already. There's something bonkers going on that's allowing quadratic scaling element damage from electricity and gas to take out lvl 200+ SP Exo Gokstad Officers in a single damage tick.
Thanks for the information and details, great builds, I just feel they put him in a box and he can easily be a bit more hybrid and do a little bit of everything which is fine for any content. Still experimenting and sure you'll have more for us later.
true - I feel like while these builds are great to understand his limits, realistically you'd use something in the middle for actual gameplay in most cases. I feel like that should be a separate video a "realistic" build that's comfy
This is something that might need some more research, but I know Noctua at least procs Cascadia Flare, and when the galvanized mods are fixed, it might prove more powerful using Primed Heated (whatever) if the Cascadia Flare buff applies to Noctua.
Corrosive does work on the nechramechs, IDK if it will full strip but running in SP their armour icon was going down when at 10 stacks, have yet to try it with a proper corrosive full strip set up. Also in addition to radiation wrathful advance set ups with a lot of attack speed work well.
I can say this for sure: Dante was my easiest and laid back 2h solo cascade for a non invis frame. the double overguard/shield gate + the onetap 9999 thrax oneshots without any armor strip are absolutely broken thanks to all the status effect scaling. If there was any warframe needed to be toned down a notch, it's definitely Dante.
What are you using to 1 tap level cap enemies without strip? In my experience tragedy isn't doing anywhere near that kind of damage (unless you prime with super high DoT weapons)
@@mochmaster45 that's the point... both his birds and his 4 have separate multiplier on dot damage. you either use forced slash melee or a tap from high status weapon and then immediately explode with a prepared tragedy.

Glaive p obviously will also generate a huge nuke, but on frames without space for parkour mods/shards, I always run praedos as melee and obv Dante doesn't need the glaive in cascade to cull trash mobs. Epitaph would make no sense, because it doesn't generate a high damage dot, just many status effects at once. Can see a dedicated heat nukor work well though.
Something i would HIGHLY recommend unless you are doing 3 as maindps you should switch out archon intensify for precision intensify, dante basically has 7 abilities and precision intensify affects 4 of them.
Why do you have Saxum Spittle? It does Impact damage, and makes lifted enemies explode for impact damage. Not sure but I think status vulnerability actually increase your status chance multiplicatively. I tried it with 100 status chance weapon with no multishot and I got 3 statuses instead of 1
Archon Intensify does not work whatso-ever in this, do not listen to this. Archon Intensify requires you to heal missing health, which rarely would ever occur due to shields and only having a healthpool of 300
GunCO has 90% of intended value on both primary and altfire modes, and is specifically fixed at assuming Noctua is at 100% Str. So at 100% Str, it gives 90% of expected. At 300% Str, it gives 30% of expected. Galvanized mods work when wielding the book as an exalted weapon, but do not work when the book entity spawns as Wordwarden. If you are on book DPS, you should still use Galvanized mods, because the majority of your damage will come from using the book yourself, and the Wordwarden will be just a small bonus for spreading even more Viral.
@@Aznvasions Day 1 my testing of galv diffusion was proccing with the 234 summon. At the very least I was seeing the buff icon on my screen. Not sure if it was actually "working" or not though. I took it off since I'm not using Noctua itself any ways so confirmation of this would be appreciated.
Personally, I use a 777 amp with max rank Eternal Onslaught and Eternal Eradicate and Madurai Focus school to melt the Necramechs. Pair this with Magus Lockdown for ez Necramech kills by literally locking them down. Just a tip for farming the new mode, happy hunting!

I was wondering what happens if u stack all 3 elements that explode Toxin / Slash / Heat and Proliferate it somehow and cast Tragedy Like maybe a Elemental Ward for Toxic AOE and then Heat proc and Dark verse twice and Taxi the debuffs in AOE to nuke? Does that work and how would I survive? Shield gate? I am thinking of Pure offense no Overguard shenanigans at all builds! Like why would I need overguard when I am playing caster build already!! Subsume off Light verse for Sentient Wrath and you don't lose anything offensively If anything you become more offensive oriented caster with much less piano baggage on ur ability casts!! Muzzleflash and Silence seems better too since you quite literally get free damage from stealth multiplier! There is no reason to Overguard Spam for your teammates unless you want to play support!! And it doesn't save you from one shots...The Pageflight is overrated unless it hits in like 15 meter AOE per bird and ignores enemies that are already primed by vulnerability which is probably not the case at all! Sentient Wrath seems much better option with medium Range setup!!
Depends on how much other sources of base damage are present. If it’s your only source of base damage whatsoever, it is roughly comparable to Outburst, assuming you have crit mods. If you have any source of base damage anywhere else, it is significantly weaker than outburst, due to Crit damage being a very difficult stat to stack.

For the 1st melee influence build how are you spreading statuses if you modded for corrosive/heat. Don't you need electricity to spread statuses? I'm curious because I want to try out the build.
There isn’t too much else, since anything that is a buff will stick to him and remove the I-frames. You can go with sickening pulse if you want. Otherwise, it’s just blinds if needed, or well, armor strip but that shouldn’t really be necessary.
Wait you’re recommending ANY MELEE WEAPON with Melee Influence but modding Corrosive & Heat, how are you even proc’ing Influence???? I assume a melee with guaranteed Electric procs right? Or am I missing something?
I don't remember well how it work... But there's a gimmick that when you deal electric damage with your operator amp, it counts as electric for Melee Influence without needing a electric mod. I think he made a video about it some months ago, it was something like "How to make any melee powerful, operator influence".

Secondary blast affect on noctua, with melee crescendo on melee it can turn into one-shot everything if you want to

maybe its me. but Galv Shot seems worthwhile, but I am running Viral+Heat to also proc Casc Flare from the other secondary.

In my testing so far the 3 goes through all walls and breaks objects too.
Seems like you need Noctua for the passive unless the floating ones you make count
Hey, great build! I'm not clear on how Growing Power works in build 3 (the dark verse spam build). How do you keep it procced?
Not sure but I think status vulnerability actually increase your status chance multiplicatively. I tried it with 100 status chance weapon with no multishot and I got 3 statuses instead of 1
Further testing suggests it both increases status count applied, and status damage dealt per proc. So effectively squaring the buff.
Archon Intensify does not work whatso-ever in this, do not listen to this. Archon Intensify requires you to heal missing health, which rarely would ever occur due to shields and only having a healthpool of 300
How about try casting your 2 with it and look at your buff bar

After the nerf today, Archon Intensify no longer activates when casting his 2.
All I need on Dante is strength and range. Duration? Don't need it higher than base. Efficiency? Don't even need it.
I swear i heard you say galvanized mods dont work on noctua. Then in the noctua dps build you had galvanized mods.

Galvanized mods dont work on the Noctua that you spawn with Final verse (the book that flies beside you)
GunCO has 90% of intended value on both primary and altfire modes, and is specifically fixed at assuming Noctua is at 100% Str. So at 100% Str, it gives 90% of expected. At 300% Str, it gives 30% of expected.
Galvanized mods work when wielding the book as an exalted weapon, but do not work when the book entity spawns as Wordwarden. If you are on book DPS, you should still use Galvanized mods, because the majority of your damage will come from using the book yourself, and the Wordwarden will be just a small bonus for spreading even more Viral.

Day 1 my testing of galv diffusion was proccing with the 234 summon. At the very least I was seeing the buff icon on my screen. Not sure if it was actually "working" or not though. I took it off since I'm not using Noctua itself any ways so confirmation of this would be appreciated.
Buff icon is there, damage number check of HUD was lacking the expected appearance of extra damage numbers.
Personally, I use a 777 amp with max rank Eternal Onslaught and Eternal Eradicate and Madurai Focus school to melt the Necramechs. Pair this with Magus Lockdown for ez Necramech kills by literally locking them down. Just a tip for farming the new mode, happy hunting!

I was wondering what happens if u stack all 3 elements that explode Toxin / Slash / Heat and Proliferate it somehow and cast Tragedy Like maybe a Elemental Ward for Toxic AOE and then Heat proc and Dark verse twice and Taxi the debuffs in AOE to nuke? Does that work and how would I survive? Shield gate? I am thinking of Pure offense no Overguard shenanigans at all builds! Like why would I need overguard when I am playing caster build already!! Subsume off Light verse for Sentient Wrath and you don't lose anything offensively If anything you become more offensive oriented caster with much less piano baggage on ur ability casts!! Muzzleflash and Silence seems better too since you quite literally get free damage from stealth multiplier! There is no reason to Overguard Spam for your teammates unless you want to play support!! And it doesn't save you from one shots...The Pageflight is overrated unless it hits in like 15 meter AOE per bird and ignores enemies that are already primed by vulnerability which is probably not the case at all! Sentient Wrath seems much better option with medium Range setup!!

Depends on how much other sources of base damage are present. If it’s your only source of base damage whatsoever, it is roughly comparable to Outburst, assuming you have crit mods. If you have any source of base damage anywhere else, it is significantly weaker than outburst, due to Crit damage being a very difficult stat to stack.
@@Aznvasions hmm I was basing it on your build, so hardly space for any more crit mods. Gonna just get ceramic dagger and sec outburst then or use your lavos setup instead

No it doesn't, but you can use it for Archon Stretch if you have Electricity on Noctua.

There isn’t too much else, since anything that is a buff will stick to him and remove the I-frames. You can go with sickening pulse if you want. Otherwise, it’s just blinds if needed, or well, armor strip but that shouldn’t really be necessary.

Wait you’re recommending ANY MELEE WEAPON with Melee Influence but modding Corrosive & Heat, how are you even proc’ing Influence???? I assume a melee with guaranteed Electric procs right? Or am I missing something?
I don't remember well how it work... But there's a gimmick that when you deal electric damage with your operator amp, it counts as electric for Melee Influence without needing a electric mod. I think he made a video about it some months ago, it was something like "How to make any melee powerful, operator influence".
Just checked it now, the video says "Patched" lol. I have no idea how it works then :(
Check the "Activating melee influence" at end of the video, he's using Diriga for that
