Hey Andrew, thanks for the question! The new version of ATF eForms is expected to approve Form 4's within 90 days, from the date the application is submitted.

Asked silencer shop about eForms the day they announced it and they said it’s not going to happen. They mailed in the paperwork then announced eForms the same day. In for the long haul now
An unanswered question is whether the ATF provided guidance on eform wait times and if so what it was. The video references the wait time graphic on the webpage but that has shown Eform wait time data since at least last January. If eforms haven't been used in seven years where does the current data on the silencershop webpage come from and how does it relate to forms filed today? Good news but I would have liked a guess at new wait times even if it's a bit speculative. I like what Silencershop does and plan to order more cans through your company but I often find your communications lacking.
I was told by a suppressor manufacturer in the meetings they had with the ATF prior to eform launch that their goal in years to come is to have approvals in a couple hours or less.

But i bet you could sell the hell out of Factory SP5 SBR's and the like
No. The prints are help by your state, they arent sent to the feds. Each paper form requires a nee set of physical prints, and the Eform will use prints taken at the SilencerShop kiosks.
Question 7. Except there is nowhere on my orders where it says “current stage” so I have no idea if mine is being e-submitted. Bought it on 12-8 so it should be, but…???
Click on view when you are on the order page, then scroll down and you will see current stage. Mine says customer signatures complete. When you are on your SS dashboard is the slider under your form submission preference on paper or electronic? Mine is on paper and when I slide it over it says failed to save. I dont get it because I bought on December 4th so I should be good.
And NO news about Forms 1? Website keep showing it as "Discontinued", after 3 cans now I want my SBR and SBS and no one in my area want to deal with it because of the pain with the fingerprints which are already saved on the silencershop kiosk. Cmon make it happen!!!
Anyone who has bought a suppressor with silencer shop needs to read this. If you are currently waiting on a suppressor (it's at your dealer) YOU NEED TO CONTACT YOUR DEALER TO MAKE SURE THEY HAVE SIGNED SO THAT YOUR FORM 4 CAN BE SUBMITTED. I have purchased 14 suppressors from Silencer shop and on 9 of them the dealer (2 different dealers) already had the silencer for WEEKS and and had not signed for the Form 4 to be submitted. I have spoken to silencer shop about this and apparently they've done nothing to address it. I would hate for someone to be months in and find out their form 4 hadn't even been submitted. FAQ? Seems more like the questions that the marketing department most wanted to answer. Silencer Shop keeps saying that the process will be much faster because the forms will not spend all that time in transit. When you are looking at a 10 month approval time, what percentage of that is actually spent in transit? Unless they are building other efficiencies into the system that no one is talking about- I don't see how this will save a noticeable amount of time. If this is the difference between 10 months vs 9 months and 2 weeks, who cares? And they are still going to mail a physical stamp after approval so no time savings there. Also, no one is talking about the paper forms that are currently pending. Will the eforms jump the line? Will resources be diverted from the paper forms to the eforms? If you have a paper form pending, you are stuck with no options. So no one cares.
You don’t get a paper stamp when you efile. Just a PDF copy of the form with the stamp on it. The rest of your post is valid though. Seems like silencershop is trying to stir up sales of silencers by painting an overly optimistic picture of what’s really happening. When stamps still come back in 8-9 months they can say it’s not their fault. Also, are they essentially saying that anything purchased after the 4th hasn’t even been submitted to ATF by them yet?? They just held on to them and are submitting them 10 days after customers did their part? Sorry for not buying into this, but the “time in transit” accounts for maybe 4-5 days max. But good marketing SilencerShop guys 😒
@@cleetismcdougall5425 nah, sounds like they are saying “buy a silencer immediately, it’ll be so much faster now!”, with absolutely no proof that it will actually be much faster.
My e-forms4 took EIGHT business days, the tax stamp payment processed a few seconds after the form4 cert. SS sent the suppressor to my FFL already, got to see it when I did the cert process. Just waiting for the stamp in the mail at this point. Going to my FFL/range tomorrow to shoot it, just over two weeks after ordering and using the SS Kiosk. Glad I ordered the Griffin Armament CAM-LOC piston and adapters/comps (for my Mark23, PPQ45, P99 Titanium) right after buying my suppressor. That stuff came in last week. Super stoked for tomorrow, first suppressor. 😄 Silencer Shops ROCKS!
Can you explain how and why Silencer Shop has had exclusive knowledge about this process to exclude all SOT’s? Why is it that Silencer Shop has been privileged by the government to have more information then any other business that pays the same fees to obtain ability to sell NFA items?
What are you talking about??? It’s been on the ATF website and multiple firearms news sites have been talking about it for months. When it was available everyone knew about it if they simply checked. Silencer Shop has just been passing the news on. It’s not some conspiracy.
@@cleetismcdougall5425 Silencer shop had more information then what the ATF put out and silencer shop had their system set up to be used with the New Eform 4 immediately. They had knowledge previously to any other SOT. They have been privileged, I’m assuming they are privileged because they are responsible for the biggest revenue the ATF has. I know no one gives a shit. They are just happy that their form 4’s are going to get processed faster, but it’s messed up that SS gets a heads ups to update their systems before any other SOT does.
@@JL-pj6kk any dealer can use their computer and walk a customer through the process when it’s active. It’s called being prepared. Silencer Shop doesn’t get any of that tax stamp money. I don’t think they even charge a fee for the use of their kiosk which is much more convenient. To me, it looks like they invested a lot of money to build their business by making the process easier. That’s just my experience in the process. I’m actually still waiting on a suppressor I bought and paid for 11+months ago. I used the kiosk for that one and it was amazingly simple.
@@cleetismcdougall5425 those kiosks cost 10k per unit. actual hardware is probably somewhere around 3k. They over charger dealers on suppressors, killing margins for dealers. They are effectively the only game in town. And you are screwed if you work with them and screwed if you work without them.
@@JL-pj6kk strange….local gun stores I’ve been too have had their suppressor sales increase exponentially after getting the kiosk. And dealers can still buy directly from the manufacturer….same as always. My dealers have brands that silencer shop doesn’t carry and some they do. Sounds like you’re doing something wrong. I’ve also got a much loved older dealer that is not keeping up with the times and hasn’t upgraded registers, inventory….etc in a long time. I doubt they last another 5 years. You have to evolve and keep up with news about the business. Did you try googling news about the eforms? If you did you would notice the information silencer shop is giving has been out for a long time.

There must be an issue with your Form 1 submission, especially if you E-Filed it. I have E-Filed three Form 1 SBR’s since January, and they took 10, 10 & 12 days to be approved. I would call them if I were you. Good luck.
@@clintbennetsen6392 I agree. I've submitted two form 1's this year and the longest of the two took 60 days for approval. Somethings wrong if 7 months later you still have not recieved a stamp for a form 1. Form 4... well,, my cans are still in jail 6 months and waiting..
why do you have a F4 Individual - EFile wait time on your website if no one has efiled in years? I did everything at your kiosk and now you are saying you just printed everything and mailed the app?
So do you have to make an account with the atf to use the eform ?
Hi there, Thanks for asking! Yes, an ATF eForms account is required, as outlined in this video. Appreciate you asking: ruclips.net/video/bKQy52FlQJc/видео.html
@@SilencerShop thanks !
So if you go through eforms is the tax stamp just something you print now? Will you still get a paper copy with actual stamp on it?
You get both an email and a document with a phisical stamp
Does the FFL do this process or can I do this form
Hey there J, Great question! eForm 4s must be submitted by an FFL/SOT. Details here: ruclips.net/video/FUAbpMYjNNQ/видео.html
So... how long is "super fast?" :-)
Judging by pre-2014 E-Forms it’ll likely be less than 60 days.

90 days at least

I don’t see these stages but my order was after December 4th. Will it processed through eForms?
What does it say under your form submission preference on your dashboard?
So I ordered my suppressor on December 4th but I don't see any of those exact stages. Mine says, "Customer signatures complete". Is that the same thing as "Signature Complete"?
On my dashboard, every time I switch the slider to electronic, it says "failed to save". I have already created an eforms account as well.

Eform 1 for an SBR?
Just in time for the AFT to declare pistols as SBR.

If I purchase an sbr does it have to be off your website to be on a trust with yall?

Heard anything about batch approvals?...I have 3 awaiting approval and they would all get approved at the same time when the first one is completed.... or am I dreaming?
You skirted around paperforms questions that was asked either you dont know the answer or what. So the question still remains, for the people who have been waiting a year for their suppressor do you have an answer on that???
If we are already Registered for the current E-Forms webpage, will we have to register for the new E-Forms?
You’re going to need to delete your account, format your hard drive, and register again. Sorry.
If I remember correctly, the email I got as an eForms user stated our account would still be there, you will simply need to reset your password

Hey Andrew, thanks for the question! The new version of ATF eForms is expected to approve Form 4's within 90 days, from the date the application is submitted.
This sounds like an ATF eForms AD
So when you say digital fingerprints, do you mean a scan of a card or a special format where they're digital and paper was never done? Asking as someone who works with you but doesn't yet have a kiosk
The kiosk have a glass pad that allow you to do the fingerprints right on the kiosk I've used them b4 it's convenient
Will this do anything for us who had form 1 back in May 2020 that crashed?
Question: after doing a form4 via efile, does the status of the new form4 show up in our efile account as pending , in progress ect?
Hi Fireboy, Awesome that you submitted and thanks for letting us know. If you received the confirmation email from the ATF (which should've arrived in your email shortly after you submitted) you're all good. We don't have access to you or the ATF's eforms account (and note: per the ATF do not share those log in details with anyone,) about what is showing in your profile, but the confirmation email should suffice as your receipt. If you'd like to contact the ATF, details on how to reach them are in the description here: ruclips.net/video/FUAbpMYjNNQ/видео.html
Asked silencer shop about eForms the day they announced it and they said it’s not going to happen. They mailed in the paperwork then announced eForms the same day. In for the long haul now
Can’t wait
We're happy you're excited like we are for eForm 4, Pew Rice!
For the first year the ATF's apparent goal is a 90 day turn around time.
I was told by a suppressor manufacturer in the meetings they had with the ATF prior to eform launch that their goal in years to come is to have approvals in a couple hours or less.
Yes! 🙌🏽
We're stoked that you're as excited as we are to tap into eForms!

If you have a Concealed handgun license with fingerprints on file. Will that help speed up the process?
No. The prints are help by your state, they arent sent to the feds. Each paper form requires a nee set of physical prints, and the Eform will use prints taken at the SilencerShop kiosks.

Hi md, Appreciate you sharing that.
They would affect us in a good way when they get rid of it and stop registering us in a national gun registration.
Will you be able to submit through the kiosk with the e-forms for an SBR
I tried that before, you'll have to create an account with the ATF website to submit a Form-1 because SBR e-forms can't be submitted by 3rd parties.
PLEASE CHECK ON YOUR FORM 4!
Can I get my prints from Silencer Shop in an .eft file?
Hey Bill, Thanks for reaching out! The kiosk doesn’t currently export the fingerprint file.

It was faster in the past when the ATF did it. That’s all they are saying.
No weird sales gimmick or conspiracy.
Just simply passing on news.
@@cleetismcdougall5425 nah, sounds like they are saying “buy a silencer immediately, it’ll be so much faster now!”, with absolutely no proof that it will actually be much faster.

Silencer Shops ROCKS!

Silencer Shop doesn’t get any of that tax stamp money. I don’t think they even charge a fee for the use of their kiosk which is much more convenient.

@@JL-pj6kk strange….local gun stores I’ve been too have had their suppressor sales increase exponentially after getting the kiosk. And dealers can still buy directly from the manufacturer….same as always.
