I got most excited when he was saying "no matter how many of my people you put on the ground" be ause it means this movie is finally showing the story of the clan feud between him and the Lin Kuei. It will be interesting to see if any of Sun-Zero's fellow members show up in pre-cyber form (Cyrax, Sektor, Smoke). Scorpion devearingvand killing this Sub-Zero could completely set up the sequel. In order to defeat him someone initiates the Lin Kuei cyber program.

Fun Fact: The actor that played Kano in the original Mortal Kombat movie (Trevor Goddard, 1995) did such an outstanding job that the creators of the game (Ed Boon and John Tobias) completely retconned the history of the character to fit the fact that Kano is from Australia... and by this movie still is.
Love that you two had some prior knowledge and at least know the vibe of Mortal Kombat always makes the reactions more enjoyable, both Scorpion and Sub Zero castings have been phenomenal and so far all the other castings look on par as well

Kitana has fans. Mileena has Sai daggers. Kitana could not be seen in the trailer, but one of her blue fans. Kabal was briefly seen, Smoke, a poster of Johnny Cage. Other than that, it was pretty tame for a red band trailer. The level of violence is the same as in the first film. Maybe a bit over it, but it will by far not reach that of the games. The camera angles have already been chosen so that you don't see too much gore. Jax starts headsmashing, but you can only see him from behind. Scorpion pierces heads but can only be seen from behind. Not much more can be expected. Apart from that, it will probably be the best film in terms of martial arts and effects that mk had to offer so far. That the characters introduced themselves individually had B-Movie style. I'm not sure what to think of it.

Seeing him summon the giant fire dragon is super impressive as LIU KANG apart from transforming into a real dragon and fire dragon can also create a great fire dragon. I only watch the LIU KANG movie. I hope to see LIU KANG fight a lot. He has always been my idol. Ludi Lin's wardrobe looks great but LIU KANG is characterized by being bare-chested and that's why Ludi Lin struggled and worked hard for years to be muscular like LIU KANG. I would like to know how Ludi Lin prepared to act LIU KANG in what way he studied and investigated it. I would like Robin Shou to act like LIU KANG's father as a memory or a ghost. The fight must be LIU KANG vs SHANG TSUNG, not the latter against another character. KUNG LAO must fight GORO. Jessica Mc Namme has a beautiful ass just like Sonya Blade. For the next movie they should include mk characters that were unpopular but have a lot of potential to exploit like for example Hsu Hao, Dairou, Hotaru etc they could offer a great fight to the death and die in a spectacular and impressive and unforgettable way because if the game did not give them the opportunity to have a good development the film will give it to them. I'd like Victoria Justice to be Sheeva that she first appears in her human form and then transforms into a sexy, scantily clad beast.

The first one was a big deal and was a good movie during it's time. The 2nd movie and MK Chronicles were garbage. Scorpion's Revenge was pretty good. MK Legacy was a try hard attempt to get people interested in the franchise. We're all expecting great things from this movie and I can't wait to watch it.

This portrayal of Scorpion is more authentic given that the actor playing him is Japanese like he is in the video games. The 1995 version was portrayed by an American.
Cole is probably just going to be an original kharacter. Lots of folks are theorizing that he might turn out to be a kharacter we recognize. I doubt it.
