I’m lovin the scale on that brother! Question? Is the scale from DLT completely milled out? People are saying their scales are extremely light and not thick like the OEM Hinderer scales. Just afraid it’s not going to produce the weight ratio I’m looking for as I like hefty knives that command that weight.
I’ve got both the flipper and non-flipper version and like them equally as much. I’ll probably only keep the non-flipper because I prefer the plain stonewash finish on my non-flipper to the stonewash bronze on the flipper version I have. Completely agree on the positives and negatives of flippers on Hinderers. Choked up using the finger chill is definitely nicer on the non-flipper but it’s not so much better that I’d like to have only non-flipper ones as I really like the flipper too, and even with the flipper it is still quite good when using the finger choil.
Forgot to mention, apart from having to use a T6 bit you can use Eklipse hardware on the XM-18 3.5” and I’m not sure if they are still available but the Black Exlipse full hardware kits have been available direct from Hinderer the few times I’ve looked over the last week. I was almost tempted to grab one, I managed to get 3 of the battle black 2024 single hole filler tabs last week though before they sold out.
Best Hinderer

@@christopherbrody9926 They are all milled out nowadays. Whether it be from Hinderer or a dealer. But I’m with you. I’d rather have more weight.
