Bob’s last Album “Rough and Rowdy Ways” is as good as any of his best recordings, a lot of the songs in this show are from that album. “My Own Version of You” is my personal favorite. Master songwriter and Lyricist. ❤
I was there and will be there both nights in Newark. Having our phones put in pouches and emptying our pockets at metal detectors is a real drag. I recommend arriving at venue at least 45 minutes before showtime. HowI yearn for the days when you just handed the door person a ticket and got a slight pat down for booze at the door. That being said….this Beacon show was incredible….it helps to know the songs on the Rough and Ready elpee….A plus for Beacon with Bob playing grand piano brilliantly….shades of Little Richard….he gets better with age.
