I've had the street SX for a couple of years now. Big improvement over the Cube. At the craft shows I just use the eco because otherwise it's really loud. The only thing it is missing I think is a gain control as well as the models.
Ironically. I have had a few cubes and - this is the only one that 1 doesn’t hum2 sounds wonderful. Got it used. Very lucky very happy. Only complaint- the level is so low on clean Chanel it is almost useless outside: that’s the one I use…
Hey! Can you use a wireless mic with some wireless system receiver with this amp? I know you can use a wired mic and make it wireless with a system but I’m wondering about the possibility of a wireless mic with a system you can use with the amp, and one that doesn’t involve plugging the system into the mains to do so, a complete wireless connector system for a wireless mic? :)
I have now sold my Laney 4x4 as I find the Street cube does have more volume and bass. I now use the street cube at all my small venues I play at and it is great as a PA and when I play with my band I use it as a monitor. of course use it for all my busking
Sounds like crapp box with k&k pure in classical guitar . The vox is great . The 5 watt sounds the best , better made and noitrik jacks and better speakers , and pres I sent the ex back , and found an new old stock 5watt cube street . The boss and the ex sound like shhhhh . With k&k Good luck

Yes big improvement, I use it on the eco setting when I gig, plenty of volume
Super amp, I have a Roland Micro Cube & a Vox Valvetronic ADVT30.....both cracking amps. Great review Marc, best wishes from Ireland
Thanks, yep both great amps
how is your experience with micro cube, can it break through the crowd when on streets? in general, your experience?
came here for the Roland info but that little Vox turned my head too. Thinking it would be a perfect amp for my daughter. (she loves Queen)
The VOX is a great little amp I use it all the time

How is it compared to the laney 4x4? I always felt like my Laney is not loud enough.
