he sold me in first 50 sec
I bought this model for my eleven years old son for his guitar practice and he loves it. It is very reliable and has been using it for three years now. It cost THB 17,500 in Thailand.
i`ve literally lol`d at the start, i dont know how some big company didnt snatch you yet for main product demos.
I'm never disappointed in these videos. Always look up reviews and tips and click on you cause I think "this guys cool"! Enjoyed the cover as well!
GO DAGAN GO! Great entertaining demo mate. Jus had my hands on one today in college event. Its superb and mind blowing even on battery power!
This is honestly the best review I’ve ever watched
Dude, I love the effort
You sold it! :)
Your so awesome man! Love your charisma! Just bought this today and I absolutely love it! Thanks for showing me all the channels there's so much in one easy to carry package!
Nice demo. I have been busking daily with this amp for a yearr now. Rugged and portable, but the 20 W outpput is just right for most gigs. I love how it conforms to any guitar type I plug in, the eq settings are basic but function well. Strat, Tele, LP and my 335 tone out nicely when adjusted. Jazz and blues really sound good even on my P90 Tele.
Does it have a mic input?
@@DonIsadick-mf3gv Yes. Mic has its own channel, so you can plug a guitar, keyboard or bass into one channel and a mic in the other.
Dagan your awesome!!!
somebody else must too because they built it but im loving the acoustic sim setting its amazing.. also stereo speakers with the tweetys
Nice demo 👍
Thank u. Keep doing u ❤️
OMG..brilliant sold
Great attitude !!!
Wow 🤩 just wow. I know it’s only $499 depending on where you buy it but it’ll be so worth it. I need to get a Taylor so I can play live on acoustic. This cube has been going around tik tok and I wanted to get one for myself. You definitely sold me on it cause of that beautiful sound quality!! just need to save the first money first 😂😅
Gotta get on‼️
Just got one. Sold!
Hey Dagan could you possibly film a video with an overhead view of what you have the bass /middle/ treble set at for some of the tones in this video? I'm having trouble getting into this amp because I can't find a nice tone that'll sound good playing a solo but also switch to rhythm and still sound clean but big without sounding twangy and distorted, anyways, if possible. Thanks!
I'm just waiting for this to arrive within the next hour then off busking.!
How was it?
@@philpants44 A-M-ZING! This amp delivers. Does what it says on the tin, so to speak. I've never had to have it on full power. Sound quality is subordinate to Bose, but what isn't. Mostly mid range sound. It's robust and great for the outdoor street challenges. Gets wet, still works, very hot, still works, freezing cold, still works.. Best equipment purchase I have made in ages. Quick to set up. I invested in rechargeable batteries and a spare battery case. Honestly, I changed over the battery pack in less than a minute yesterday in the middle of my set. However, the recharge batteries go on for hours and hours if you set amp to the centre setting for power usage. Sorry that the reply was long but can't praise it enough. If you're busking, get one.
Trying to play Purple Rain was this videos saving grace. All you had to say was it has good clean tones, decent effects, and the crunch is OK, but the "Lead" sucks balls. All you had to say. But making a video is not easy, so much respect, brother! 🤘
Had this for a few years and it's amazing for busking, and very loud, so be careful not to upset surrounding companies!! Batteries last ages. Works in very cold and hot temperatures. Robust. Price has gone up quite a lot though.
good video Phil x ´s brother
I might have bought it w/o the intro
What do you mean, not a singer? 😆 nice review 🤙
You are killing me with laughter!
Wow slash.
The main two questions people have about this amp are
1. Do the batteries recharge while the amp is plugged into the wall socket? Answer: No - you stupidly have to taking them out of the amp to charge them in a separate charger.
2. Does using the headphones socket instantly mute the speaker? Answer: Yes - but you can plug headphones into the line out but you need a 1/4 inch Y splitter.
Can buy second Battery pack
A pity you did not show any of the EQ settings when you were playing.
Fuck Yeah! Thanks. its done im buying the roland cube ex.
LOL With a Gretsch, no less. LOVE it.
Needed the bridge pickup for more crunch looks like you had it on just the neck PU a little high in price but wish I had one I need 2 for my outside gig $1000
why bridge
2 why?
Lol Good intro!
Great video lol
Will this play an ipod for a backing track ??
Yes it will. Or an iPhone or a phone that uses an aux cord.
Hi why some roland cube street amplifiers have cube written on the front of the speaker and others have roland and the roland logo on the left corner?
Thnk u 🤘
Yes but how do i connect the amp and start recording??
Dude you're lucky you made a disclaimer
Good review 👍
I was so confused with the intro... hahahaha
Hello, please do you know if when the batteries are finishing and you get the flashing light, the volum still stays the same or it goes lower during this flashing light time.? Thanks in advance
hi,can you make a try with bass guitar?thanxx
I have a question, can I connect my Android smartphone to the cable, or just the iPhone? Please I need help.
Haha the song totally sold me 😂
Hello, I'm looking for a stable trolley case for air transport, in which I could transport a Roland Street Cube Ex as well as a microphone, microphone stand and an audio interface Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 with headphones. What can you recommend for me? Thanks, Julia ☺️🙏
Who are the 56 psychopaths that disliked this video??
i did. he never played something heavy and says its the best battery powered amp. i'm going to play heavy metal on that thing and i should know how it sounds before i got it. so these type of amp reviews must have all kinda genres played even for 10 secs. video is 8 mins long and dude plays an acoustic on the amp for 5 mins.
😆 right
does any body know if these take pedals well?
Does it have phantom power for a condenser mike?
Oi!!!
Ma8 what amp do you recommend for didgeridoo I do dj mixing and didgeridoo live mix!!!
Greetings from Tijuana Mexico
Will one of those bluetooth adaptors let you play karaoke tracks from your iPhone on this thing?
Has anyone ever tried techno/psy trance on these? I wonder how it sounds. If its good, i ll definitely wanna use these as my monitors!
So you lose the amp simulation from street?
Can we connect this cube with Yamaha mixer?
Would you still recommend this today for a solo singer with backing tracks? Would help me so much if you could answer me as I’m thinking of buying it ? Or would you recommend something else? Thank you so much live your channel! 🤗💕🤍
Hey! I went and saw a girl busking down near where I live on a nice street and she was using this exact speaker and I talked to her after and she said it’s great for singers. She was only singing with no instruments. So yeah, this is a great choice.
And she has been using that speaker for months now and it’s awesome
@@ZZStripesJazzy Perfect thank you for your answer 💖💖 means a lot 🤗
@@MaximeBaptiste no problem
Does this have the built in looper like the street 2
I just bought this - do you plug a standard electric guitar patch cord into channel 2?
A regular instrument cable, just like with any other amp, yes
Does it sound over drums?
I want a device I can hold in my hand that does three things and that I can connect to my street cube.
1. It must record. So I can record it like any digital recorder. I play a song off my iPhone and record it to be stored in this device for backing tracks.
2. I can connect my bass to it and play and record
3. I can use it as a drum machine
I am having trouble busking because I have poor connectivity at the venues with Wi-Fi. I have a IPhone 8 which means I had to buy a blue tooth device which means more problems.
The simplest way minus a drum machine is to just get another phone but looking for something better
Can you use this live for small gigs in bars ?
triplejudy I think the amp will make it!
Easily
Can you use this with a saxophone?
Could you use this amp. in a live 4 piece rock band situation in a small / med/ sized bar?
Hi! You certainly could - just mic it up for more volume. -Lee
so does it take batteries or has one in it, or what?
What about the "non EX" version of this amp? Can I get that lead tone with it as well?
Miljan Kostadinovic idk about that exact lead, but it has more tones available than this one like Rectifier, crunch that this one doesn't have also notice this one has no gain control!! Lol
The beginning 40 seconds broke me
Bought
Via output jack, can we plug into another big amplifier?
As long as it is powered, I believe so.

I find it funny I have the much smaller one and it has vastly more controls and amp models. I really can't deal with the loss of options with this one..😔
you have a smaller what? explain more...
@@wadevid theres a smaller version of this amp, the normal one, that has more options for eletric guitar. I really recomend the smaller one, i have one of these and they are amazing, really loud, sometimes more than u will need, runs of 6 aa batterys to. I really dont see the point of buying the EX, since it is more heavy, has less options, etc.. go with the normal cube street
how many watts does this have?
Nice review. John Mayer's My Stupid Mouth was great.
I miss you playing Lead mode with your bridge pickup!
Can it link to blue tooth
I plan on using this amp with a Yamaha Pacifica 612 electric guitar. It's a good start right?
👍🏻💯
Is it good for keyboard synth or bass?
Definitely, Juan. This would easily work with all those options and acoustic too! -Lee
Can you have delay and chorus on acoustic and also delay on vocals, me thinks not
Yes
i bought one, it is ok for guitar and voc, but does not bring basses throuh the mix. so for me as harmonicaman not useable, have now the Roland BA 330, which does the job excellently. Right as monitor we use the StreetEx and btw as sit for our guitarist/singer too. nevermind .
It's for the guitars only. There's another roland built for basses. Had one 2 years ago
can I plug in two mics and one acoustic guitar on street ex?
yes
Is it bluetooth ?
Not all players use steel strings, it'd be great to see it used with say acoustic guitar and nylon strings. Plus some serious singing. Sounds nice though.
You can't use pedals on this right?
Can't see why not.
Show us reverb and delay together
What is the song at 7:24?
Pretty sure it's Ain't talking about love - Van Halen
David Lee didn't sang this song ;) do your homework. Good presentation . I'm thinking of buying one .
Russel Brand?
worth buying for £300 in 2024?
Anyway, here's roland cube
LMAO Nice
As a busker myself the only thing I hate on this machine is its plastic nature, other than that there's nothing else to complain about.
:D !!!
Dork LOL
Roland will NOT sell you replacement parts should something go wrong. you have to go to their authorised techs to order parts and fix it. Buy something else, i don't know what but don't give your money to a company that doesn't care about you after they have your money.
@Dagan or PMTVUK, why the heck have this and you don't answer any questions? The year is 2019..thanks for nothing, imo!!
Hi Mary, i'm happy to answer any questions you have! Fire away! -Lee
@@PMTVUK or I should say, "Lee" thanks for your response, sorry for my snappy tone. I received the Roland Cube.. as gift and I realize most amps are not made for "just" vocals and yet I did have one many yrs ago (not sure if Roland or Fender) that came with a mic, very small..my question is this with great Roland I cannot make my vocals sound decent. So I'm wondering what section would be best: mic/instrument or mic/guitar ?? And come to think of it I think it was a Roland/mic that I used back in the day! : )
Mary Salvi Well said Mary!
@@@ianashworth1101 thank you, geez, and still, do ya the crickets?? ; )
Did I miss the part where you talk about the vocal performance qualities?
It’s an acoustic amp folks NOT for metal lol
Warning: Before purchasing this: Check the Video about the actual Quality of the Internal Speakers = they Suck and are Under-Powered.
Oh buddy, let the singers sing, just play guitar xD
Good amp, but seriously overpriced.
He sings AS Bad as a street musicer hehe
That fucking bracelet man, awful.
Very bad review!
Your singing, bro 😢 I'm not going finish the video .
