A cool trick with plastic handle. You cand dip handle in boiling water. And shape into contour of your hand. Customize to your fit. Be careful not to burn yourself. Never been a big fan of Bon tool. But thats just me. W.Rose, Leather handle. What i prefer. Also new sub here. A Texas Mason
W Rose for sure find the leather handle is to chunky prefer the proform rubber. Just a plastic handle 1 may try this have mind and watch the fingers lol haha
Tbh I went from Marshall then w rose then a co worker showed one day with the bon blue handle and it was waaaaay lighter than my rose and his was 12 in and mine was 11 and I could tell the diff so ever since I been hook on bon
I ordered one and sent it straight back, they look brilliant on Bon’s website,in reality their a welded piece of shit made in Taiwan, not for me at all 👎
@@wolfhachmuth7731the new Bon keystone forged trowels are one piece forged and made in Europe by ab Tokos in Slovenia . The trowels darcy is using in the video are Bon welded trowels possibly made in Taiwan or china they also used to make stainless steel welded trowels .
In Texas , many of us have always used narrow trowels ..
They save your wrist for sure .
W.R. Rose Is popular ..and Marshalltown ...❤️👍
I love my old worn down Mashalltown. Its about 10inch. It did a great job with 2 gate piers where there wasn't a lot of space between the profiles.
great stuff thanks for taking the time subscribed last month keep going
You might want to go look at the Marshalltown trowels they have quite narrow handles but its always different strokes for different folks.

Wow thats cool, i’ll see how i get on with it, would be comfortable shaping it to your hand. welcome to RattleKings 😁

If you imprint your hand in a plastic trowel it won't spin good in your hand. Rose better steel, strong but better flex. Bon to rigid.
I like a 12" Rose trowel but can't seem to find them any more. Light weight easy on the wrist.
Is it wide or narrow london
I here brickies raving about w.rose trowels ment to be better than Marshall Town? They have a orange Amber handle one wich is ment to be good

Just for clarity the wide bit of the trowel is called the ' heel '.... great content
I would give the wide London a go. I normally use a philly tho.
Much happier to see you using a better sized trowel which fits the hand better. You only get one pair of wrists in life
Gracias por todo
You can also replace your plastic handle very easily yourself, as it will wear quicker than blade.
Just bought this trowel have to wait till December for it🤦🏻♂️
You go girl 👍
I'm in love now but with u😍
Just pare the wooden handle down til it suits your grip.
If you want a wider trowel get a Philadelphia pattern

@@jims5394 50 years never snapped one.
Snapped two trowels in my life. First one a MT red handle. I think there was one more not 100% sure. Slapped MT flat on concrete. Blade snapped off. 😭
@@jims5394 they make different lifts.
: )
И как вы работаете такими большими мастерками . Перебор . Хотя о вкусах не спорят . Была бы работа
You might even prefer a 9 inch .. they're even more comfortable
I have never tried a 9” actually! I’ll see how i get on with my plastic handle one, may look for a smaller one in future.

Welded trowels are shit
Are they welded though?
@@wolfhachmuth7731 can you not tell ? Clearly a painter
@@Plobbot1974 I'm not. But on their website, all their trowels are single forged. On this video it's not really clear.
