- Hey Everyone, welcome back.
Here is a tutorial of how to do a detail Header course. I’ve only done a few of them, but i do think they are nice to break up a large flank or just add a simple detail.
Again, not done many of them but this is how I’m currently learning to do them and it works well i think.

Line should always be on the bottom Arris on any oversail course as that's the line what catches the eye, if the bricks differ even slightly in size it will show if the line is on the top Arris but won't notice the other way, don't worry 90% of Brickys do it like you did but College instructors nowadays don't have a clue, Nice work 👌

I’m going to mention this to my boss. I always thought this. You’re always going to be looking at this detail course from underneath and the underside always looks messy. Thanks for this tip!

you should always check the underside of a detail course with a line then make adjustments to suit..looks much better on the eye and any bumps above will never be noticed
