I wanted to leave you guys a huge THANK YOU for this video and its easy-to-follow instructions! I installed my CR Trail Edition sliders this weekend and it went as described. Took me a little over three hours and I did it myself with the help of this video! I love the sliders and this video is excellently done! Keep up the great work!
I have a 2023 Tacoma and just installed these. A couple items for those who get the bed liner finish. For the bolts to fit through the slotted holes in the rock sliders you will need to file down the coating inside the slotted holes for the bolts to slide through. The coating makes the slotted holes smaller and restricts the bolts from sliding through. I used a rotary tool from Harbor Freight with a stone bit to remove some of the finish that spilled into the slotted holes. One item he missed installing back into it's original place was the plastic cover behind the brake line on the drivers side. It just slides back into place and the bolt goes into the original hole. Also there's no hole in the slider face plate to install the top wire harness clip, just the bottom, but it should hold ok. On the drivers side, the rear faceplate bolt interferes with two break lines on the back of the frame, so you will need to snap them off from the clip to get the bolt in (this may be different on other models). I also flipped this bolt so it was installed with the head on the backside of the frame like the break line bolt at front since the threads pushed the break lines out. I added a piece of rubber tubbing over the break lines to keep them rubbing up against the bolt head and then pushed them back into the clip. Also, for those who don't have a helper, I used two jacks with small pieces of plywood to raise & support the slider and position it for the 14mm bolt. The jacks also helped level the sliders later. Other than a few adjustments the install went well and the video was a great help.
Great instructional video! I got everything installed pretty easy...except those front end bolts into the handle bracket. That was kind of a pain in the ahh...who cares, it worked out fine. I've been looking forward to getting these things for a while, and cant wait to get them all dinged up. Thanks Cali Raised LED!
There are some notable differences between installation on this DCSB and the DCLB models that can cause some confusion. I posted a video about these differences on my channel. Don’t hate on the quality - I’m not a content creator by any stretch! But you’ll at least have a video reference showing specifically which bolts go where, and what’s different about the DCLB install.
@CaliRaisedLED, you should be paying this man to do your install videos. It is an absolute shame that your video left me high and dry halfway through the install yet this customer was able to do what you should've done in the first place.
Thumbs up. Solo work, so I'm going slow. 2021 Double Cab Long Bed. So slightly different than the video. The Center bolt (install this first) is not in the same location, there are two slots, on matched my frame. Used a 3/8" bolt to hold the slider up in place. For those two forward bolts, safety wire is your friend. Feed wire through the hole towards the rear, loop, and twist around a bolt. Now you can pull that wire back through, that bolt holds that long paddle ting in place. Snug, twist safety wire, now you can use one hand to move that paddle up and down while starting the other bolt. Flashlight resting on the slider helps see what you are doing.
just installed these on my double-cab long bed, you guys should really make a separate tutorial for them! most of the rear half of the slider is very different. The furthest forward 1/2" bolt that was parallel to the ground did not fit in any of the stock holes on the truck. I resorted to washer stacking the 3/8" then 1/2" washers on the 3/8" bolts and using them instead, as I did not want to clearance the hole in the frame to be big enough for the 1/2" bolt. Lastly, the center bolts that you put in first, that uses the OEM 14mm, is not used. Installation was completely different. I also had quite a bit of left over hardware, not something you should want on something designed to support the trucks weight. Absolutely no complaints with the product itself however, once I got all the bolts I could in, it feels stout, well made, and shipped fast.
Recently we made a instruction pamphlet for the double cab long bed. We really appreciate the feedback and are glad that you like the product. Our goal is to make everything as easy as possible for the customer to ensure they get the best experience possible.
Thank you so much for the video! I followed all your steps and I did! Great price for what I got! I just recommend to use globes... just a few scratches in my hand lol :)

So I installed mine yesterday and everything was going smoothly until I installed the passengers side.
