    I love when people swap the TRD sport wheels for the TRD pro so then I swap the sport wheels to my SR5 :)

      Gotta take advantage when you can 🤣.
      I still have my TRD Sport wheels tucked away, though. They do look good on the Tacoma, that's for sure 👍.

      @@LevelUpMechanics they really do. I’ve got a “sport series” pre runner they had blacked out wheels stock. Mines a second gen ‘15 I traded for the new 2022 sport wheels.

    Really good video. I just installed the same exact on my 2022 Taco except mine were bed liner coated. A few tips. Number 1 - absolutely install the top plates before you mount the rock sliders. And unlike the video, I highly recommend you install all the bolts, including the three bottom ones on each side with the spacers finger tight at least - then tight them all up in roughly the order in the video. Love the video man! 🧡

      Thanks for the support! And thanks for sharing some useful installation tips! So far, the powder coated version is holding up really well, but I bet your bed liner coated ones are even more durable 👊👍

    • @rastersplatter
      @rastersplatter Год назад

      @@LevelUpMechanics Yes they are, but much more difficult to install as many of the bolts have to be "threaded" by hand through the bed liner material on the slider. (Make sense?)Just slows you down a bit. But love the Cali Raised LED sliders. Great product.

    Great video. My install on a 23 Tacoma went well. The only thing I changed was the rear driver's side frame bolt pointing out like the black box bolt for extra clearance on fuel lines. I encourage you to also make a video on a taco ARB summit front bumper. Great product but for 2k the instructions were terrible

    Super cool video but only for short beds. Long bed are a different bolt pattern. Good job man.

    • @LevelUpMechanics
      @LevelUpMechanics  Год назад +1

      I mean, technically, once you have that bottom 14mm bolt lined up with the rock slider and the frame (one for each side), all of the rest of the holes line up and become pretty self-explanatory.
      I hope that this info helps and makes sense 😁

    • @Macmac399
      @Macmac399 Год назад

      @@LevelUpMechanics that’s the problem. I don’t have the oval spot where the 14mm goes. I just emailed caliraisedLed to ask.

    • @LevelUpMechanics
      @LevelUpMechanics  Год назад +1

      Oh wow, I see. What year is your Tacoma? Could you use the front crossmember as the "reference bolt" instead?

    • @Macmac399
      @Macmac399 Год назад

      @@LevelUpMechanics 2021 double cab long bed. I’m also missing the 3/8 bolts. They sent me the washers and nuts but no bolts. 😡

    • @LevelUpMechanics
      @LevelUpMechanics  Год назад +1

      Hopefully they will respond back soon and send you the missing hardware. Originally, I was missing the 4 short sleeves and 2 long sleeves for the vertical bolts. I sent an email, and they responded back within 24 hours. I received the hardware in the mail within 3-4 days...
      It wasn't a big deal for me since I was still able to install the rock sliders. However, I'm sorry to hear that you are having some trouble installing yours.
      From what I understand, the installation procedures may vary depending on year, trim level, and frame length (long bed vs. short bed, etc).
      If I were in your position, I might try to use the front crossmember as a reference point and see if three mounting holes line up correctly. I apologize that my video could not be more helpful (especially since my tacoma is the short-bed version).
      Hopefully you will hear back from Cali-Raised soon.

    Im about to order these but cant decide between the 0 or 20. How did you decide between the two?

    • @LevelUpMechanics
      @LevelUpMechanics  10 месяцев назад

      I have little kids lol 😆. I chose "0" because they can double as a step for the little ones.
      Plus, when I wash the Tacoma, I can easily stand on them when I clean / polish / wax the paint on the roof 😆👍

    Weights each? Are they work good with skid plates too?

    • @LevelUpMechanics
      @LevelUpMechanics  Год назад

      Unfortunately, I do not know the exact weight for each rock slider. If I had to guess, I would say somewhere between 35-45 lbs each.
      So far, I haven't seen any compatibility issues with skid plates. I currently have a TRD Pro skid plate and a catalytic converter shield on my tacoma... no issues with these 😁.
      I hope this info helps! 👍

    If I were to sell my Tacoma in the future, is it easy to remove them and put on my next Tacoma?

    • @LevelUpMechanics
      @LevelUpMechanics  Год назад +1

      I mean, they are a bolt-on modification. It takes an hour or two to install them. So it would take an hour or two to remove them.
      You would just have to make sure that they are compatible with any future Tacomas you might have. 😁
