My system has 3 generations of screen atm: VGA 1600x1200, DVI 1680x1050, HDMI 1920x1080. I'll be donating my current system, build a new one, keep the HDMI and replace the VGA and DVI screens with a DP 1440p ultrawide soon... More pixels and less clutter, but it'll definitely take some time getting used to not having a mix'n'match 3 panel mess.

This was so much goodness in one video!
Maybe one if the best videos on this channel, the case modification, the painting techniques plus the cause od this gift. All bind perfectly together
the verge: you gotta really hammer it in

Most underrated comment I've ever seen.
This should be top comment
He never even checked 8f he had a table...
If there were ever a reason to do "a little overkill" on a project, this is it. Bravo.
Out of all the different builds I've seen on youtube this is by far my favorite. I keep coming back to viewing it over and over. Mad skills modding Jay!
damn jay, sick build. def one of your best. we need more like this from you, great work.
This was one of the coolest computers I’ve ever seen, and I’m so happy it went to a deserving person! Great work guys, I’d love to see more of this stuff in the future!
I like how you can see jay actually having a lot of fun doing this custom case
Best build video I've seen to date, on any channel. Not only for the looks of it, but for the reason why it was built. Mr. Langevin, you are second to none!
This is such an amazing modded case. Please Jay keep showing us how talented you are!
Omg that is so cool! Your a good man @JayzTwoCents what you did was incredibly thoughtful. I enjoyed every second of that video.
Think that could be a new avenue for you to explore, 'pimp my old beat down pc' custom themed jobs etc like this one.
Has to be my favorite J2C vid I have seen, loved this build, loved watching the process and loved the warm fussy feeling I got when the system was given back. :) We need more of these :)
Jay you and Phil are awesome people. Phil’s friend really deserved this and you can see he is truly grateful. I am a father of a 4 year old whom is autistic and I can’t tell you how nice it is to see the people who help with children like mine have love thrown their way. Tell your dad I also say thank you to him for helping children like mine especially after he has retired and could just focus on himself but decides to give his time to people in need.
HOLY CRAP, that case looked freaking amazing when it was done, also those temps, freaking hell the 9900k is notorious for being hot and in an mini ITX case, fook man, me jelly
At 5ghz OC no less! Fractal Design should take notes, this is how to cool a pc
Dude, if I was a billionaire I would sponsor this guy for fun.
To be fair, it has a piggybacked radiator, so it's not really a mini itx case. Once you add a water cooler, the size of the case doesn't matter.
@@xenonram this is still a mini itx.. the radiator barley adds size
Yup, one of your best builds for sure, what a cool gift from micro center, I love everything in this one.
Nobody:
Phil: paint me like one of your fan grills
Man awesome job! I'm glad I found your channel and subscribed. Thanks for what you did for that man!
Dope build for a stand up dude. Nice build Jay. Looking forward to more builds like these.
When your computer decides to cosplay as a spaceship…
Jay: "Two thin coats"
Me, a Warhammer 40K player: "Nice."
I know right!! :D
jay rides into battle alongside duncan, wearing two thin coats

There is yet a higher level to building PCs, and you, Jay, have reached it. This is amazing artistry and craftsmanship. Please do more of these custom-paint builds!
Hell yeah, beautiful PC for a Guardian. Best class 4 lyfe indeed.
I think this is my favorite build that Jay has done
I do teaching, as much as I love my students I can relate that this guys job requires a lot of patience. Much respect to you jay for understanding.
Also I learnt some cool painting techniques from this video!
This should definitely be the top most viewed of this channel..... so much quality, from the build itself to the guy receiving the PC. props to u guys!
The editing on this video has so much personality. I thoroughly enjoyed this great job!!!!!! 👌👌👌👌
Love the destiny theme, been playing since the D1 beta. Amazing to see a fellow guardian get what he deserves
The attention to detail with the destiny lore and everything made this video amazing to me. The Grimoire at the end... Man was this a good build.
This is legit the coolest system you've built man, like holy fuck.
Phil's editing is amazing as always!
Jay you are a creative recycling genius and truly an artist. I wept at the beauty and shear generosity of both your time, and skill to create this for another. Thanks Jay, Phil and Microcenter.
You need more videos like this on how to do case mods like this. Way cool man!!
Oh nice a Node202 video. I have one of those sitting in my closet to use...
2:30 (internal screams as the grinder hits)
screams and then creams after seeing the end result am I right?
I think you should create a case inspired by your model ships? Maybe some kind of naval battleship theme.
Absolutely outstanding Jay. Your paint techniques remind me of a friend who used to paint figures for our D&D sessions. It was great to see the look on his face when he saw the case. People who help others don't tend to have the best wages for maxing out their PC. Now, if you ever want to do a build for a firefighter ........ ; )
Wow, "Overhaulin'" is back? XD
Jay is like the Chip Foose of the PC world, amazing work of art and technology!
Really, this could be a excellent series. Perhaps with a monthly format, and get Microcenter to fully sponsor it with PC parts
This is the only comment that matters.
Jay I really feel you should bring your modeling and painting knowledge to computers like you did with this one, I think you could make some awesome modding work.
You're a good dude Jay. I like that you took joy in doing it. Great build
Smashing that like button because of who you said you are doing this for. My oldest brother is special needs, and every. single. person. that helps them through life makes worlds of impact on them. They deserve a little love out there. Thank you.
Also the case looks awesome.
Wow! This is impressive. Thanks for sharing Jay.
That thing needs a bar handle grip on the top to carry around to those land parties.
It’s one of your best builds ever!!! More like this mate!
This was the second time I watched this. It always makes me feel real good again. I love the reaction of his face on every little WOW moment.
Hey, I've just watched this for the second time as well. Love every minute of it. Jay's skill & passion, and the guy's "totally can't process" expressions...
Twenty-five minutes of my life well-spent.
Dude that paint job is sick! More of this please!
Man, you need to do more of this!! Best video I’ve seen in a long while!
"Im not used to display port im still on dvi" my guy skipped hdmi entirely 😂
Dude, I went from a Pentium 4 crappy desktop to a pretty decent laptop with a 1440p monitor, I went from VGA to DP hahah
I did too... lol
you say that as though hdmi is obsolete and replaced by displayport...it isn't and won't be.
@@robertmarder126 Yeah DisplayPort is all jankey and weird a lot of the time - give me HDMI any day
What a nice thing to do )))) my mum past away not long ago and take care of disabled. And yes was great to see modifying anything. Keep modifying things ok !!!! Keep it up. Happy New year to you all )))
