AHHH I AM HYPERVENTILATINNGG! It me! I'm the subscriber!
We honestly just moved out of the house, but I would be happy to answer any questions I can if anyone has any. I was super well researched on the case before we moved in, we had some creepy coincidences with moving in, and then chatting to people in the area who were close to the case and knew the Birnies. It's a super wild ride of a case and Kate Moir has got the be the most INCREDIBLE woman, I am in such awe of her strength and courage.

Was it ever weird knowing that such awful things happened in any given room you’d walk into? Too bad everyone in the town would know the house’s history, that would be a hell of a story to tell guests!
It’s so surprising that a place where such awful things happened could be so calm and charming in modern day. It’s funny how different maintenance can really make or break places like these, while the Moorhouse seems to be well maintained and anyone who didn’t know its history would be oblivious, places like Keddie Cabin are so decrepit and creepy, giving off a vibe as ominous as the events that once happened within its walls.

Her eldest son was hit by a car and died as a young child. The other 6 were left with their father ( her first husband, Donald Mclaughlin) when she ran off with David. I never usually think a mother is doing her children a favor by abandoning them, but I think Catherine definitely gave them an advantage by doing that in this case. I wonder where they are now.

Because it could have easily been a trap. Those who blindly trust are the biggest targets. I would have definitely called the police and told her to hid in the bushes or something, but I wouldn't have let her in on the off chance she was the decoy and working for someone else. There are plenty of stories about people pretending to be hurt so when you go to help them they rob you, kill you, abduct you. Or human traffickers who will cause a car accident (suddenly stop in front of you so you rear-end them) and when you get out that is when they take you.
One youtuber posted a video of her experience and even has video evidence because she was vlogging when it happened. A man dressed as a city worker approached her and tried to lure her out of her vehicle. He had orange cones set up ( I think blocking the exit) but his behavior was off and he was alone, in a mall parking garage, at night. She ended up driving away (but I think she could only go to the higher lots since the exit was blocked) and then ran into one of the nearest shops and told an employee what happened. They called the police and they told her that what she described sounded like a trafficking attempt as his story to get her to leave her car, his mannerisms, etc. fit the profile.

Without getting into too much detail.. my ex “assaulted me” (to put it lightly) which ended w/me running out of the woods in the middle of the night with him chasing me.. I ran up to FOUR houses where the people didn’t let me in or even call the cops for me. before a passerby in a car finally called 911.. please help when someone asks for it!

David’s life kind of makes me sad because if it weren’t for his shitty parents he would have grown up fine but then again, it doesn’t justify his actions. On the other hand, Katherine could have lived a normal nice life. From my POV she got influenced too much by David and she decided to do these horrible acts. I don’t know why she wants parole, she has no right to do so. But what really fascinated me was the way Kathy managed to escape. I don’t think if i was ever in the same situation (god hope I won’t ever) I wouldn’t be so smart to leave evidence behind and to be a little detective while I’m held captive. Like what are the chances that Katherine forgot to chain her up. It’s just ... it’s one in a million chance. I’m extremely glad that she got away.
BTW- I’m a new subscriber and i have been BINGE watching your videos all week. You are doing an amazing work, I love your videos! You put so much detail into these it helps me put perspective to everything. Keep up the good work!

It sucks but even today we could all learn from Katie sick people are still out there and having a plan or preparing yourself as best you can is still just the smartest thing to do to keep yourself safe and possibly keep others safe as Katie did by getting out. She saved countless women and honestly is a hero.

    Hi Danelle,
If I could have added something to your warnings about not getting into cars with strangers it would have been this: Everyone should teach their children (and themselves) that if someone comes at you with a knife or a gun and tells you to get into their car or they’ll shoot them/kill them DONT GET IN THE CAR! If someone gets mad because you won’t get in, and they shoot you, or shoot at you at least you have a chance of survival. If you get into the car thinking that if you just do as he says he won’t hurt you YOUVE MADE A SERIOUS MISTAKE. Once you get into his car he owns you. I’d much rather be shot in the street with other people in the area because I’d have a chance of surviving. Once you get in the car he’s going to take you somewhere where all the odds are in his favor, and dying in the middle of nowhere with this twisted psycho is not my idea of a good way to die. I’d rather say “No way”, and be shot. Chances are if you tell him to go ahead and shoot you because you’re not getting in the car he may shoot you, but he also may just leave and find a more willing victim. Stay well.😁🙏🏼💕
